One thing that make Zait Bistro different with other Arabic Restaurant, their amazing rice, soft texture, tasty and super delish. I tried the Beef Kabab combo, Mike at the front assist me very well when it comes in ordering. Service is the sweetest here ;) When the food came out, I already know it is not gonna disappoint me. Beef was cooked well done as per my request and so tasty and I also got 2 delicious salad & pita bread as well. I just learned Noura was the one who made my meal and I am grateful for that. Only thing is $17 for the little meat can be improved somehow. Definitely recommended place when in the area. Perhaps next time I would try the Shawarma and I will share my feedback. read more

We used to LOVE this place....came here almost every other week for lunch with my coworkers. It's either Zait or the poke bowl place. The past few months we've noticed a downhill trend on their food quality. Staff used to be friendlier but lately it's been meh... We're hoping it's just a little slump and not permanently affecting the business. The servings are getting smaller too, but still relatively delicious. Flavorful and tasty. The restaurant is looking rough too. The tables were sticky and not cleaned well.... which is a BAD sign. We're hoping things get back to their better, earlier days.....because it would be a shame to lose this Mediterranean restaurant. read more

I walked in with my sis and the family were cooking for a large party! We smelled the smoke of the food, saw their cooking dedication and we then knew the food and experience would be good. This place is now just decent. Came to share a plate with my sister and the flavors were a bit off. FOOD: TZAIKI sauce was a bit too spicy for me (not burn your mouth, rather they added a little too much of something). Which brings me to the rice... is it me or the tzaiki sauce that threw the flavor of the rice off... Ambiance: is average with some frames up along the hall way... I've been coming to this place on and off for 5-6 years, and it used to be really good. Clearly something has changed--new management or ownership--because the quality has dropped badly. On 3/29, my wife and I ordered a chicken shawarma platter and a beef kebab plate. Her chicken was great. My kebab, however, was completely inedible--full of fat, gristle, and tendon, and so tough I couldn't chew it. I called, and to their credit, the staff member was polite and offered to replace the meal. I came back on 3/30 to pick up the same order... and it was just as bad. Same tough, low-quality meat. I couldn't get through a single bite. At that point, it's not a one-off mistake--it's the product they're serving. Customer service was good, but the food quality is unacceptable. Do not come here. First time picking up food here. Right away ambiance is rough. Place is dirty. I'm super surprised that the health inspectors are allowing places like this to still stay open. I'm all for supporting family owned business but this owner need to understand that they need to provide good and friendly service. The guy, he said he's name was Jose (I don't think it is, he was just trying to pacify me), was super rude. I asked him a question about the food I was picking up since it's a bunch of initials in a tin foil container and started talking down to me. He's excuse was he was busy and did not have time for questions. I understand at times it gets overwhelming when you have a lot of order to fulfill but do not take it out on your customer. When I didn't take his apology as sincere and just wanted to get out of there he became irate again. I will never ever come back to this place again. I tried this place for the first time due to the amount of good reviews and was highly disappointed! I placed a phone order and when I went in to pick up, I noticed the place was DIRTY! "Wow." The words I utter everytime I take my first bite here at Zait. My mother and I have been coming here for a few years now and it hits every time. Today I brought my girlfriend and she also loved it. I get the lamp chop plate with taziki sauce and the potatoes. If im feeling baller ill get the 4 piece but ill generally stick with the 2 piece being that this place is PRICEY (rightfully so) . That would be my only critique. The ambiance and service are always friendly and I always feel at home here. Mike always gets me right. I came here today after a friend had told me to visit...and let me tell you...I should have came here a long time ago! I ordered their chicken shawarma plate (size small) which is perfect portion for one person, and they also have a medium and large size for portions as well. The rice was cooked perfectly along with the chicken shawarma, and it was seasoned magnificently with tons of flavors and juices and even, rare spices. the food came to me HOT! My two sides were salad and hummus. the salad was amazing. it was served cold and perfect temperature with seasoning and dressing to perfection. Most places use vinegar to dress their salad...very sad. This place actually uses lemons to dress their salad in their dressing. they shower their salad with onions, and dried mint flakes (which is exactly how it's supposed to be) and crunchy tomatoes and cucumbers. just perfect! The hummus was fantastic! Ask for olive oil and red pepper on it! Chef MIKE was awesome! Amazing gentleman who really knows what he's doing back there. WOW WOW. The baklava was excellent! the pistachio and cinnamon ones were so delicious and savory. an excellent way to close out lunch! They also give you a large piece of pita bread with your plate. The garlic paste (toum) was perfect. nice and thick and full of garlic flavor. Amazing little spot. I'll definitely come back here again, and VERY SOON. I love the chicken kabob dish with humus and salad. Delicious! The baklava is tasty, too. Make sure to get their pickled turnips/beets (not sure what it is but it's pink and delicious). I have been here once prior and recalled the food being really good. Went on 2-18-26 and the older gentleman was very patient with us trying to determine what would be enough food and tried to help us understand. We ordered a large kefta plate and a med chicken kabob and brought it home. Again the food was great and the portions were beyond our expectations there was leftovers after three adults and two little ones ate. Service was great and the food was outstanding. This is one of those family-owned, local gems that I want to see survive, but everytime I go by, there is hardly ever that many people. Given the taste of the food and the fact that it's made to order, I'd expect this restaurant to be more busy. If you love Mediterranean food, give this place a try. The food is delicious, the service is good and it's clean. Plus the amount of food I get is enough for me to split between two meals. Yesterday I spent $23, but I had enough to save for the next day.
