    Shrimp kebab plate
    Kirari S.

So glad I waited to see what was next to the nail shop to eat. Found this place and it did not disappoint. I got the shrimp kebab plate and a side of beef (I need the protein!). The shrimp and beef are so juicy and full of flavor. They kebabs are truly fresh. The nice lady at the front was really nice and helped me navigate my eyes because I couldn't find the sides of kebab. lol. There was no one else in there as I ate. But the place is comfy, roomy, and clean. I haven't had their falafel yet but will def try it when I come back!

I stop here while visiting the beautiful city of upland ca and found this hidden gem in the corner of grove and foothill and you must try , the food smells so good soon as you walk in and the staff staff is very passionate about the food , the kind lady even prepared side salad to go with the wrap and it was amazing

The food here is delicious. Chicken kabob plate is my favorite. Order to go for my family. The chicken kabob plate is perfect with salad, garlic spread, hummus, pita, chicken and rice.

I've been looking for authentic Med food (I've been to the Middle East) and this place was on point. The food was delicious! The ladies that were there were very kind and helpful. The place was clean with music going on in the background. Loved it!

Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a plate of Middle Eastern food so much. It was fabulous. Amazing value for the price. Got Kafka kebab with all the accompaniments, hummus, salad, tahini, hot sauce, rice, grilled tomato, fried eggplant. It was so good. The couches are comfortable, music is good, service is nice. Very pleasant place.

The falafel wrap is fire with the garlic sauce . I do recommend ordering ahead but that one lady in there is holding it down

Came here on a Monday at 1pm and we were the only customers at that time. The dining area was clean and there is plenty of parking outside. Our order was taken quickly and it didn't take too long for the food to come out. We had lamb kabob plates with rice, hummus, salad and pita bread. I did take off one star because the lamb was a little dry and for 20 bucks a plate I wish it would have been juicy and tender. Green chili was a little too charred for me. Also, unfortunately I didn't realize how expensive the drinks were or I would have chosen something else. We had 2 bottles of coke for 5 bucks each. Total after tax was 53.85

The pasta was swimming in a watery tomato sauce that made me just angry and grossed out . It didn't taste like authentic Italian food at all, specially from being from Europe, this was nonsense. I was also confused by the concept. The restaurant presents itself as Italian, yet the menu mixes Italian and Mediterranean cuisines in a way that felt inconsistent rather than complementary. The only positive part of my visit was our server. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, the food was so disappointing that I wouldn't return. If I could give zero stars based on my experience, I would.

If you're looking for the definitive Lebanese experience in the IE, this is the order to beat. The Breakdown: * The Trio Grill: You get a sampling of everything--chicken, beef, and kefta kebabs. The chicken kebab was the standout for me; it was incredibly tender and had that perfect open-flame char that you just can't replicate at home. * Baba Ghanoush: This was a smoky revelation. You can taste the fire-roasted eggplant in every bite, and the texture was perfectly whipped and creamy without losing its soul. It's easily some of the best in the area. * Tabouleh: So many places use too much bulgur, but Mezzaterranean does it right. It was a bright, herbaceous explosion of fresh parsley and lemon that cut through the richness of the grilled meats perfectly. * The Extras: It all comes together with their fluffy rice and warm pita. Pro tip: use the pita to make little "mini-tacos" with a piece of chicken, a dollop of baba ghannouj, and a pinch of tabouleh. The Verdict: The portions on the Trio Plate are massive (definitely enough to share, though you might not want to). Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and authentic. It's clear this family-run spot puts a lot of heart into their recipes. 10/10, will be back for more of that garlic sauce!

We came to eat here for the first time, because I was craving Mediterranean food. We were going to go to Risen, (also a hidden gem) since it's down the street from us, but a little further than what we wanted to drive, because we were starving. We walked in, and there were no customers inside, you could probably hear a pin drop if it weren't for music playing. Customer service was really good, given that we were the only ones there, however, the attentiveness from our waiter/server did not fall short. Our waiter made a great recommendation for the Eden's fusion mix grill, and it was amazing to say the least! It's very filling, and the steak is cooked to your liking. I was warmly greeted by a lovely lady who seemed to be both the manager and the waitress. The restaurant has a vintage style; it's set in an old building, giving it a vibe, but honestly, it looked a bit worn down and didn't seem that clean especially the restroom, which also didn't appear very sanitary. For food, I tried the sujuk appetizer: a spicy sausage with sautéed veggies. Unfortunately, it wasn't like what I've had before; something about the taste was off, and I didn't enjoy it. I also ordered the mixed grill plate, which came with three portions: chicken, ground beef, and steak. The steak was actually quite good, and I really enjoyed that, but the chicken didn't taste like a young, fresh chicken; it was like one of those big, hormone-fed birds. The rice was not fresh and it was a warm up from the day before. Overall, I didn't really like the food quality and didn't feel like it matched the price at all. On the plus side, the service was really nice; that lady was very kind and genuine. One odd thing was that there was nothing on the table; no salt, pepper, napkins, or sauces. you have to ask for everything. And since the railroad is so close, you occasionally hear a loud train passing by. All in all, despite the warm service, I probably won't be coming back.
