    Falafel pita
    Teresa T.

Rancho Cucamonga: Easy parking once I found it, a small place with enough choices and decent prices for Mediterranean fare. Walking distance to the Hilton Garden Inn. I was there a long time ago remembered that I liked it. Any independent eatery that has been around for 10 years or more has to be good. Halal Certified. The falafel pita was very tasty and substantial, but messy to eat. Best to have a fork on back up. My photo isn't the best. It was much tastier than it looks. Plenty of falafel that was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. You have a choice of two side sauces-I got one tzatziki and one tahini. Although tahini already comes on the pita, there's no such thing as too much tahini. I would eat here again when in the area. It was a good pita and a good value for the price. The gal the counter was friendly and very accommodating. Made to order so it's not in and out.

Had a really good meal at Pita Street. I ordered the shawarma plate and it was delicious. The meat was well-seasoned and the tzatziki sauce was especially addictive. The lady running the place was super nice, even though there was a bit of a language barrier, she still made the experience warm and welcoming. Overall a solid 4-star spot for flavorful Mediterranean food.

I really love stopping by for lunch here! The schwarma combo bowl is a great deal. I don't enjoy vegetables, so I really appreciate that they allow you to substitute it with all rice. The beef and the chicken are both really good, and I love being able to have some variety even with one of the smaller options. They also offer really good sauces, I usually get the garlic one. The food always comes very fast as well and the staff keep the dining area really clean.

This place is my favorite! I usually get the chicken kabob bowl, but I recently tried the wrap and both are now my favorite. My boyfriend loves getting the chicken shawarma plate and I've tried it--it's yummy because it comes with hummus. They actually know him by name! That's how often we come here. The dining room is always clean, the service is quick, and everybody is friendly. If you want healthy, fast options at a great price point, this is the spot for you!

Great halal pita place in Rancho! Came here with my brother and got a chicken shawerma wrap and was quite flavorful. Chicken was perfectly cooked and it had lettuce, tomatoes, and all the fillings and I got the spicy sauce which really took it to the next level. Only came here once so didn't try it, but would come again. Was quick service, we placed our order in advance so just had to come in and pick up and the inside was nice, it had plenty of seating.

So y'all I'm really trying to live that healthy life. My new go to is Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food. We were leaving the Toyota Center in Ontario and wanted to eat dinner in that area. Of course my first go to is YELP. This restaurant came in HOT!! When you walk in the restaurant makes you want to grab your food and eat there. We were greeted with a smile and our order taken. Our food was done rather fast which was nice, so we had a seat and dined it. I enjoyed my Chicken Shawarma plate is was enough food for me to have leftovers the next day. My husband thought his bowl was okay. He enjoyed my chicken a lot more. Also the pita bread was very good as well. It is definitely in my top 5 places to Mediterranean food.

Sorry this was half way through.. stopped to do my review lol..Chicken Shawarma platter with added shrimp. Soooo delicious!

First time visitor! Very impressed! Great customer service! Excellent food. Didn't want to go to a big restaurant and the atmosphere here was just right! Will definitely be back when in the area! I've become obsessed with Mediterranean food and this was awesome!

Food is always so fresh and flavorful. Never disappointed with this place. Service is always cool. Mom pop vibe . And I just noticed today that's every booth has an outlet for plug in and usb plug in for charging. That's is such an awesome touch.

Hear me out: Gaaaaaahhttt DAYUM lol If you are in the area or even if you're not in the area, you better come get in the area lol This cute little spot is nestled in the little promenade next to a jewelry store. There is plenty of inside seating. This was my first time trying this place out, and it did not disappoint. The girl at the register was super sweet. I loved her vibe and her attitude. I love me some quality customer service. I ordered the chicken kabob bowl and DAYUM it was delicious. Everything from the salad to the grilled veggies to the rice to the chicken the flavors were on point. I have been on a Mediterranean food kick lately and I have to say this is one of the best places I've tried. So if you are ever in the area, I highly recommend this place. It was a 100/10 for me!

I placed an order online for pickup and was given a pickup time. The place is very open, spacious and just has a neat vibe to it. I walked right up to the counter to give them my name for pick up and they said they were finishing it up. There were other people waiting for their orders as well. A couple minutes later, the gentleman behind the counter called out "Daniel" and the guy waiting next to me jumped right in and grabbed the bag and took off. I had wondered "I hope they didn't pronounce my name wrong and that was MY order." But didn't think much of it. Then the gentleman behind the counter asked me the name for my order. When I said "Danielle" he said "oh that was yours, the guy just left." He kind of looked at me like it was my problem to fix, so I took off after the guy and the employee followed me. Thankfully, the guy didn't get very far because he was verifying the order, so we made the exchange. Whew! I ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob with extra grilled veggies and a side Mediterranean salad as well as the hummus trio with sliced cucumbers instead of pita bread. The chicken kabob meal was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the option to add on more veggies was much appreciated! I was really excited about the hummus trio, but sadly I found it to be lacking flavor. With the 3 options of regular hummus, spicy red bell pepper and edamame, I was definitely expecting a flavor explosion, but it fell flat for me. I'd definitely come back to try more of their main dishes. Seems like a great little spot to dine in.

It started going downhill when they got rid of the PKG Rewards. We stopped going soon after that. For some reason, we decided to give a chance one more time a couple of days ago. Big mistake. We ordered to-go, and got the "Family Kabob Combo", 2 skewers. Since we're not big fans of their chicken, we subbed one of the chicken skewers for two Koobideh (with an upcharge of $6) and one Salmon skewer (with another upcharge of $5). The total was $45.97 + Tax ($3.56), grand total of $49.53. This would have been OK, if they gave you a reasonable amount of food for what you pay. Instead, we got a large container of rice, and two small containers of meat and vegetables. Unfortunately, as you can see from the photos, what you get meat-wise is basically extremely skimpy. The two Koobideh skewers weighed a total of 10 OZ. That's TWO of them together (see photo), not one, they weighed only 5 OZ each - barely more than a quarter pound hamburger. The Salmon "skewer" had a total of 5 pieces of salmon, each weighing only 0.8 OZ each, a total of 4 OZ! So what we got for the princely sum of $50 was 14 OZ of meat total - less than a pound, and a whole lot of rice, which costs them next to nothing. If you look at a lot of the older photos of the Koobideh skewers here on Yelp, you can see how much they have shrunk in just a few short years. My guesstimate is they're 50% smaller than they used to be, I know for sure since I bought them in the past that they used to be much larger. The price has increased 35% since we last ate here a couple of years ago, and you get 50% less food for that money, losing on both ends of the transaction. We feel cheated, to say the least. It's too bad, since we do like the taste of the food itself, it hasn't changed - what has changed is the value for what you pay. It isn't worth what they're charging for such a little bit of food (many other restaurants have gone the same way, sad to say). We won't be eating there ever again after this experience, it's impossible to enjoy a meal when you know you're being ripped off.

If you're looking for the definitive Lebanese experience in the IE, this is the order to beat. The Breakdown: * The Trio Grill: You get a sampling of everything--chicken, beef, and kefta kebabs. The chicken kebab was the standout for me; it was incredibly tender and had that perfect open-flame char that you just can't replicate at home. * Baba Ghanoush: This was a smoky revelation. You can taste the fire-roasted eggplant in every bite, and the texture was perfectly whipped and creamy without losing its soul. It's easily some of the best in the area. * Tabouleh: So many places use too much bulgur, but Mezzaterranean does it right. It was a bright, herbaceous explosion of fresh parsley and lemon that cut through the richness of the grilled meats perfectly. * The Extras: It all comes together with their fluffy rice and warm pita. Pro tip: use the pita to make little "mini-tacos" with a piece of chicken, a dollop of baba ghannouj, and a pinch of tabouleh. The Verdict: The portions on the Trio Plate are massive (definitely enough to share, though you might not want to). Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and authentic. It's clear this family-run spot puts a lot of heart into their recipes. 10/10, will be back for more of that garlic sauce!

Well this message is for corporate not the staff following the rules. The customer is the only reason you have a business. Being flexible for your customer is the only way you stay in business. Let's talk about basic unit economics. These are assumptions, but it's designed to prove a point. An average bowl at your establishment will cost you about $3.00. You are going to charge me about $10 before tax for that bowl. That's $7 in profit. If your rule is only two base ingredients, and a customer asked for a third (arugula)... give it to them... you have enough margin to absorb an $0.11 handful of arugula. Why risk angering the customer? Especially when the customer didn't get all the options they could have gotten, no dips, not veggies, just base (leafy greens/rice) and meat... meaning my bowl probably cost you sub $2.00 oppose to $3.00. You have plenty of margin to give me a handful of arugula. Regardless of the unit economic numbers being accurate, you have plenty of margin otherwise you could not operate. If you can't afford to give the odd customer an extra base here and there, close your doors and go back to business school. The customer is the only reason you have a job, keep them happy and coming back. Remember that. I have been coming to Cava locations across California since 2017. I have spent thousands of dollars across that time at Cava. Some weeks I'd eat at Cava 5 to 7 days in a row. And I've never had a problem getting the bowl I desired, until now. This one experience has lost you the future thousands I would have spent there with my family. All over an $0.11 handful of arugula. I WILL NEVER GIVE MY MONEY AGAIN TO A COMPANY WHO DOES NOT VALUE BEING FLEXIBLE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS... You don't want to keep your customer happy, you don't want my money... I hope for the day I read the headlines that Cava is closing locations and is going out of business.
