I came to this store in hopes of getting an issue fixed and gaining my trust back because I've had some not so good prior experiences at other locations. Luckily, I spoke with Tammy (manager), she was absolutely fantastic through the whole process. She gained my trust and with her knowledge and expertise she was able to get my ring back into its original condition without a hassle. I was so amazed at the difference of my ring, it was pure magic getting it back! I did come into the store at a busy time when they only had 2 employees which resulted in a pretty long wait time. BUT, that is to be expected, if an establishment is busy, you wait your turn or leave. I'm glad I gave this location a chance. I plan on doing all my future jewelry shopping here! read more

Terrible service. Always a long wait. If you are not purchasing jewelry and you need your jewelry cleaned or you need to purchase jewelry cleaner then you will be forced to wait until everyone else has made their selections and purchases for their jewelry. I have spent thousands of dollars at this location. I came in today looking to just quickly purchase some jewelry cleaner so I can clean some jewelry for my daughter to go to homecoming. The lady refused to sell me the five dollar jewelry cleaner until after she sold two other people jewelry who were there before me. Mind you I would only be five minutes and I know that they would not mind. Even the guys she was helping offered for me to go ahead and she refused. I went across the street to Kay's and was helped and was out of there in five minutes. read more

Just tried to shop there for my wedding band we had seen a few weeks ago. Knocked on the door and waited 5 minutes or so. I understand COVID precautions, but if you are going to lock your door at least have someone keeping an eye out for customers and acknowledging the wait. My mom wanted to exchange a wedding band that my father purchased for Christmas, he passed away a week later from Covid. Yes we were slow returning it due to all that occurred. But the store policy on exchange passed the 30/60 days is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense. You have to pay double the merchandise amount or something ridiculous like that. We are frequent customers and have always had positive experiences. The manager is very patient and answers my abundance of questions. We have had my rings resized, necklaces fixed, etc. Currently I have an upgrade of my Husband's band in layaway. They made sure to give me the best in store deal and every time I come in to pay on the ring they check to make sure there are not better discounts available that can be applied. I feel bad for those with bad experiences. Fortunately, I have not had those problems. read more

My fiance and I have always used Zales Northpark but with our recent move to Garland, we decided to use Firewheel for our wedding bands. We were really shuffled through the purchase of our wedding bands. It felt like a whirwind. Even after we had each chosen what we wanted, we weren't given any prices or options, just handed a loooooong printout from an old dinosaur computer to sign. It included two warrantys that we may or may not have wanted. No questions asked. When it came time to pay, we do not generally use cards and had the cash in hand. The cashier actually argued with us about putting it on a Zales card. "Don't use your money, use OUR money!" They were supposed to be ready to pick up around 10 days later. My fiance called the day before, at my request, to see if they'd come in yet. At Northpark, things usually came in early. He called several times and was told, "We are really busy. You'll have to call back." and, "Did you get a call from us? Then it didn't come in yet." He goes to pick them up on the day we were originally told. He was told they had come in 3 days earlier and had been misplaced. Then his ring was completely lost. Finally, all items recovered and as he prepared to leave and NEVER come back he was told by the cashier, "We are so much better than Northpark." Ridiculous read more

Went in August to buy my adoptive daughter the Persona charm bracelet for her birthday in November at the Firewheel Zales. We came back right after Thanksgiving to get a charm. They were having a special if you bought $100 you got a free Persona bracelet ($40 value). So I bought some extra beads after waiting while they waited on another woman that came in after I did. I got the free bracelet for myself. When I got home, found it was too small. I came back to get a larger size and they didn't have any. Asked if I could pay the difference for a different bracelet. The manager was very rude and flately stated "No, that is free and the only size". She was unwilling to let me upgrade it and pay the difference. I went home brought back everything including the original bracelet for my daughter. The sales girl asked me why I didn't like the bracelet. I told her the bracelet was not the problem, it was the poor customer service. The manager stood there and told the clerk to make sure I had everything in the boxes. No apologies or willingness to work with me. I will never go back to a Zales again. read more

Every time we have gone to this location, the service has been amazing. We are nothing but pleased with this business. Even though we live in Rowlett and the Rockwall location would be closer, we make the trip to the Garland location due to the amazing service we have received there time and time again. 8 months ago my (now fiancée) and I went in to look at engagement rings multiple times. When it was time to buy the ring, they worked with my fiancée to accompany our finances as best they could. 8 months later, we went in to look at our wedding bands and the woman that assisted us was so helpful and kind. Our experience with her was nothing short of outstanding. The first thing she did was offer to clean my engagement ring while we looked at the wedding bands. We already knew what I wanted, and had a pretty good idea of what my fiancée wanted as well. She didn't try to sell us on some big expensive ring- she actually asked my fiancée what he liked and suggested things based on that. Last but not least- when I decided on the wedding band I wanted, since I am a size 7, the store associate who helped us said that I could take the store sample ring home that day. They searched around for the certificate of authenticity, put it in a gorgeous box, and then a bag for us. I was so happy that I could take my ring home that day! Overall, I am very pleased with the service that we received from this location. We will definitely be giving them our service from now on. read more

I'm on the fence. My husband went into make a payment on a ring I've been wanting, and the new manager- a tall male- was not very friendly. No words were exchanged during transaction. Very cold. This store use to be enjoyable. Their current employees seem to be just that, employees. There to earn a pay check. Not because they like what they do. It's obvious they don't. A few times I have gotten lucky and even did a survey that was on my receipt and left positive feedback. Now I am regretting it. I'm thinking about contacting corporate. read more

I went into that store at least 5 times to try on different wedding bands and also brought my husband to be for a band as well as our daughter to get a necklace. She was so patient and kind. Every time i walked into the store we were greeted by every employee. I would highly recommend this store to anyone. We had been to the store at Northpark to look at wedding rings, and finally decided on which ring we wanted. Since we frequent firewheel we thought we'd stop in and see if they had the ring for us to order. Not only were the sales associates not interested in helping is get the ring we came in wanting, but before they even looked to see if they had one in the store they showed us at least half a dozen that were almost $500-$1000 dollars more than the one we specifically told them we were looking to buy. Needless to say we walked after the sales girl Kept trying to push us to order the ring in the color that we told her we DIDN'T want and in a smaller size. It seemed like they had no interest in helping us get the ring we wanted. Their only interest was getting us out of the store. They didn't try to find us anything (i had to tell them where on the website it was) and they didn't make any attempt to find out how long it would take to get the ring as a special order. They kept pushing the store to store order until we left. And they didn't even make any attempt to get us back in the store. We'll definitely be making the drive to a different zales next time. read more

Beware of Zales credit card!! My husband purchased my engagement ring at Zales and used their financing. There is no warning on statements that the large interest sum will be tacked on to the bill at the one year mark. Who remembers a year later that this is the due date? Do you remember the date you signed up for your electric bill or cable or cell phone? There is no warning when that date is coming with Zales and when I called, we had missed a 'so-called' grace period (we didn't know about either) to pay it in full minus interest charges. I have already warned several friends who have been fishing for engagement rings to stay away! I just want t to let people know about the horrific policies before purchasing anything through them. read more

This company is a complete joke. but something from them and it breaks or diamonds fall out and when you take it in for a repair they tell you one date and then it's another 5 weeks before you get it back. twice I've had to take the same ring in for diamonds falling out and twice I've been lied to about the turn around time and twice I've been treated like complete crap by this company. My husband suprised me with a beautiful tennis bracelet on Mother's Day. However, the bracelet did not fit. My husband purchased a pre-sale bracelet which in fact had two links removed. After visiting the store the week after monther's day, we were informed that Zales would send the bracelet to their jeweler to requet a quote for links to be added. Over a month goes by and we heard nothing from Zales or the jeweler. We make a trip back up to Zales on June 24th, requesting any update on the bracelet. Noone knows anything! They search and search for the paperwork regarding our account (thankfully we had saved our paperwork for reference). After re-hashing the entire story to Carol, the store manager, we were informed this was not their fault that the jeweler should have called us. She continued to point the finger at them instead of her own lack of follow up on our account (which she later indirectly admitted). Not one apology was given. At this point, my husband and I requested the money back for the bracelet Zales sold, yet has had possesion of for 8 weeks. She informed me that we could only get the money back once the bracelet was back from the jeweler. Rude and POOR service! Carol said they will have to call the jeweler on Monday and that she would call us back. It's now been almost another two weeks with no call. Zales corporate will be contacted formally with this complaint. AVOID ZALES -FIREWHEEL!!! Needless to say, my husband will be using our typical jeweler from now on, NOT ZALES!!! read more

At first my boyfriend and I came in to just take a look at rings. A man helped us by the name of Cody and when I found a ring I really loved from the Vera wang collection he told us it was limited edition now and Vera wang stopped making it so if I didn't buy it today I may never find it again. Of course being naive I believed him because he was so nice and so informative. Then he handed me over to larisa and the two of them continued to help us out through out this process. They told us about the Zales card. Stated that to lower my monthly payment I could do the plan with 9% interest. I almost backed out with it being monthly interest. When they said no it's per year so the interest would be so small I once again believed them. (Word for word). They then gave me a ring size 6 that was in their show case (I'm a 9) and said yes it doesn't fit but you can have this ring resized as many times as you want to through out your pregnancy and after. Never once asking to resize it for us and us being so excited we just left with the sizes they gave us for our rings. The next day we go to towneast zales to have our rings resized and the lady there tells us that firewheel zales must have really wanted to make this sale because they lied to us. The ring has to be special ordered for the right size and it can take 10 weeks. So I then I figured I'd ask if this ring was really limited edition and no longer being made and she said no that's not true either. Then I receive my statement today and the interest is monthly not yearly. So my payments they told me I'd have,the minimum payment is 30 dollars higher than they told me to expect. The only reason we bought the rings when we did was because they made it afforadsble and sound like I'd never be able to get the ring I loved ever again. And I'm very upset at the dishonesty. With a baby on the way we are on a tight budget and larisa and Cody despite the fact that they knew I did not want to pay a certain amount because of this, they still lied just to get a sale. And sent us on our way knowing what they did. I do not recommend anyone to come to this zales. Towneast zales was so honest and I wish I had gone there first. read more
