I always take my wedding band and engagement ring to different Zales locations for the diamond bond inspection, but whenever around the store (which is often), I stop in and get my rings cleaned to keep them nice and sparkly. Zales is located in a "shopping mall" - There's restaurants, Central Market, and boutiques. Across the street, paralell to Zales, there's more restaurants such as RA and Rush. Across the highway is Southlake Town Square - more boutiques, restaurants, and Trader Joe's. You can't deny that this is a prime spot to have Zales. I went there today to get my rings cleaned and inspected. I came about 1pm, as I entered, the two workers greeted me and asked if I had an appointment. This was the first time I was ever ask this question. I replied if I needed one. The gentleman said that because the holidays are coming up, it's best to have an appointment. I guess I was lucky because I was the only one in the store. As I gave my rings to the gentleman, a woman asked for my information. As i was giving her my information, I noticed that her phone was on. It seemed like she was scrolling through reels since it was a slow day. But what was most disturbing was that the reel was two rabbits humping... it could have been bad timing, but I felt extremely uncomfortable. As she finished getting my information, I sat down on the chairs while I wait for the gentleman to finish my rings. My rings were beautiful and sparkly. I'm always so happy that my husband bought my rings from Zales AND bought the protection package. I highly encourage you to spend a little bit more money for the protection package... it's 1,000% worth it! read more

Nothing short of a nightmare. The level incompetence from this store is absolutely staggering. We walked in, my wife selected a wedding band for me, and we were told it had to be special ordered and usually comes in 6-8 weeks. This wasn't an issue so we paid the deposit they asked for and went about our business. Fast forward six weeks. My wife calls for the status because we moved our wedding date up. Nobody seems to know what's going on. We're told it's still on order and there is no way to contact them/get a status. 8 weeks in we call and nobody seems to know what's going on, they say it can take up to 12 weeks. This is still ok as this would still be in right before our wedding. At 12 weeks we call again. Still no word on the ring. It doesn't come in time for the wedding. Another week or so later, we call and they finally tell us the order is CANCELLED because we didn't pay the full amount when ordering it. They ask us to come in the day before we leave town for a friend's wedding. We call them when we get back in town and they put our deposit on a gift card! We explain we are leaving town and need to resolve this when we get back. When we return to town and call them we're told we need to speak to the manager who doesn't work on weekends. We call Monday and the manager is out for the week... The following week we call, the manager is hard to get a hold of. She was rude and short with my wife, she explained that they "just took away" the ability to cash the check back to us! So now they have to mail us a check for the deposit. Avoid! They don't care about service. Nobody knows what's going on. And if you do have a problem good luck. Please heed this as a cautionary tell and don't make our same mistake! read more

I have seen the store 3 time never never do right job and keep on push responsibility to online Zale website and Manager don't want to take responsibility at all!! They try to sell you extended warranty !! and Manager (Nicoma) said nothing is free to fixed the ring!! So Rudest! That's unacceptable service !! Beautiful jewelry and amazing prices, but an extremely pushy and rude salesman. The older gentleman working here on Sunday was practically cruel when my fiancé and I came in to look at rings. He repeatedly emasculated my fiancé because he's short and doesn't have huge size 10 fingers, telling him that "men need to be at least a size and a half bigger than their women". He was much more concerned about pushing the loan option on us than anything else. We were planning to pay cash and get an idea of what we liked. I could not believe how many times he mentioned how "dainty" and "absurdly small" my guy is. He's 5 ft 6! He is a normal size. Long story short, we left extremely disheartened and frustrated and will not likely be back. I was so bummed that this experience (that is supposed to be exciting for us) went this way. My partner and I had recently gotten engaged and started looking for wedding bands. We quickly discovered that unless we wanted identical wedding bands that we were going to need to be creative. We actually shopped at multiple jewelers in the Grapevine/Southlake/Colleyville area and found that the private jewelers had issue with the fact that we were a same sex couple. The staff at Zales were incredible. The jeweler actually found a beautiful mens band with both white and blue diamonds for myself and a complimentary band for my husband. Both very different but yet they looked like a matching set. I have since purchased a second ring with blue and white diamonds for my right hand. read more

The store has a great selection and the sales people are all very friendly. However, they are also extremely pushy and not very knowledgeable when it comes to the financing portion. The sales associate assisting us couldn't tell me if it was a hard or soft inquiry, kept trying to tell me that it would "be okay" to add an additional line of credit to my credit history because "sometimes it can help our credit and sometimes it can hurt it" like I was being given a lesson on how credit works. My concern was being approved for the amount of the rings and having my credit utilization be at 90+% for that credit line and that was her response. I ended up being approved for way more than we needed to purchase our rings, but they lost our sale due to the flippant responses to my genuine questions/concerns about the financing aspect. We just weren't comfortable being bullied into buying rings that we will be wearing for the rest of our lives all for a commission. There's another Zales right down the road by 114 that I would recommend. Their selection is a little smaller, but the sales folks over there aren't pushy at all and know their stuff! read more

I recently had my ring stolen and was o bummed about going to find a new one. Nothing would ever replace it. I came into this store and I did not catch her name but she was younger with red hair but this rep was so absolutely amazing! I can not say enough great things about her and my experience she was so knowledgeable and Paige the with me and helped me decide on the perfect right. She was not pushy in any way. RUN! RUN! RUN! I cannot stress this enough! My engagement ring was purchased here, and though I LOVE it and it's very beautiful, trying to get the custom band is another story. We have been HUGELY mislead by the store manager time and time again. I asked him to his face when we were paying for my custom band, that if the jeweler couldn't do what we were paying for, at the price we were given max on, deal was off if it was way more. The manager assured us it wouldn't be as he quoted us on the high end. We get a phone call stating that indeed it was going to be more, "Manager was wrong", then he promised my ring back on several occasions..(first time was I'd have it back in a week, then the following week and so on...) It has been a month this week and we were just told today that it will be at least another week before we can get it back. They have already made the ring mold, so what's the hold up? Bottom line, find a more reputable person to work with who knows the business, especially when you are spending hard earned money. Pretty ring, but bad customer service experience. read more
