Came for TSITP watch party, and it was soo fun! They also had happy hour the whole time so that's nice. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu and it was good. Service took a while but they were packed! Asada tacos so were so good, can't wait to go back.

[I regret not taking more pics - the place was so great I just simply forgot] Came here by complete chance, but I'm so glad we did! :) The tapas options are phenomenal! From the tacos and empanadas to the bacon wrapped dates and jungle fries, every choice was a great one! There was also a good assortment on beers on tap as well. The service was as on point as the food, our glasses were never empty, and they were on top of things the entire time. The ambiance was that of a Latin themed tapas bar. Music, plenty of people talking and enjoying the evening, and generally just a good vibe. :) I'd return there for sure! The food and service both were above expectation!

HIGHKEY RECOMMEND CELEBRATING WITH ZAMA I decided to celebrate my birthday here the week before Thanksgiving and was so glad I did! I booked my reservation on OpenTable two weeks before and updated my reservation three days before the date. (this is a must!) We came in 20 minutes early, and our table was already ready. Complete with balloons and all, they were ready to celebrate with me! From the food to the service, everything was top-notch! I definitely recommend the espresso martini tower, the jungle fries, and the carne asada burrito- don't forget to make it wet! The biggest shoutout to Andy and Matt for making our dinner celebration flawless! The boys were sad to see that the game day menu wasn't an option for the evening so we will definitely be back to try that too!

PSA// This review is based on the single drink I had here lol. But worthy of a s/o, the Cucumber Serrano Margarita here was one of thee best spicy margaritas that I've had-- and that's my go-to drink everywhere. It was the right amount of kick that blended very well with the tequila. They also know how to do a tajin rim the right way! Right consistency of chamoy and on-brand tajin.

Lounge, a place to sit back and relax with the music to make your toes tap. Bar in the front and patio in the back with drinks flowing and delicious knick knacks. A perfect place to meet up with homies and besties. The atmosphere was old school when we came in so that was a plus for us. Our server was helpful and gave us great recommendations on food and drinks we should try. The bacon wrapped dates and the truffle rolls came out first and they were just perfect to start off with. Their margarita flight was also a hit with flavor and potency! LoL. Up next was the Birria tacos and ceviche and they capped off a delicious foursome of flavor as far as our tid bits go. The experience was a hit and honestly I think it's a perfect place to chill on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Parking is in the back for easy access. And that's my take, Peace

1,000% YES I would recommend Zama Lounge in downtown Fullerton, especially if your server is Cierra!! She was super nice and very friendly from start to finish! Our Gold Elite Crew of 4 decided to meet here to welcome our East Coaster, Terri E. to the West Siiiiiide! Leonard A. is the head honcho who pulled it together, and we all had a great time. I was the first of the bunch to arrive, followed by Terri, Leonard, and Lynn. We pretty much got to pick where we wanted to sit, as the restaurant had just opened. The vibe is cool and casual, and they have a bar for all the pretty drinks you could ever want. We ordered some appetizers and drinks, and there wasn't anything we didn't like. What we got: Food: Chips and Salsa Shrimp Ceviche Truffle Roll Birria Taco Platter Bacon Wrapped Dates Drinks: Margarita Flights, Not Feelings! CUTE NAME!! Cancun Waters Breakfast Shot Cucumber Serrano Oasis Margarita Zama Fresca Mocktail I loved my Cancun Waters. It was just how I like my alchi: fruity, not too sweet, just the right amount of the good stuff, and BLUE! lol I ordered the Chips and Salsa when I meant to say guacamole, but Cierra was so kind and brought out some guac for me! We shared everything, and I think we all agreed that the Bacon Wrapped Dates are the perfect combination of sweet and savory! The Truffle Roll was bomb, and so was the Shrimp Ceviche. I didn't taste the Birria Tacos, but the group said it was yummayyyy and I believe them! Just looking at it made me want to inhale one, but I double stuffed myself that day, oopsie! The prices are average, the service is amazing, and there's a parking lot in the back of the building. I think you have to pay during the week, but I'm not sure since I didn't park there. There's also street parking. I highly recommend Zama for a date night or group date with your crew. Hope you have as much fun as we did!

Came in today last minute. Missed the drag show but had such a good time! Our service was so timely, considering we were doing bottomless mimosas. The food was delicious and our server was even better! He was so fun and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks so much!!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for drinks. Ambiance: 1/5 If you want a chill place to drink, chat, and watch some sports games, this is NOT the place to do so. The music was so loud that you're barely able to hear the people sitting next to you. This place also has an identity crisis, it a weird mix between a sports bar, cantina, a club, and a want to be high end brunch. I did not care for the vibes here. Service: 3/5 There was no wait to get a table. Once we got a table, it took some time before our waitress came and greeted us. It took even longer to get our drinks out and to get our checks at the end. Drinks: 3/5 We got a margarita flight which was pretty good. They flavors were unique and refreshing. It was very light in alcohol however. My favorite was the passion fruit one. My friend also order a Cabernet that he did it care for. He said it tasted too tart. I am not a wine connoisseur so I cannot speak on that, but they brought it out in a little vile and poured it into the wine glass. It felt u necessary.

Celebrated my husband's birthday at Zama before heading out for more drinks & dancing. HIGHLY recommend. 10/10 The food was amazing in quality and flavor. Get the birria empenadas, you will not be disappointed. Or even just a simple carne asada taco, the salsa is bomb. Cant go wrong with either. Drinks and service were quick, friendly and sweet. Came here to watch love island at 8pm with a friend after work, super chill vibes. The staff was attentive, people were having a good time, and the drinks were GIVING! I tried the Jamaica Margarita and it was delicious. Would love to come back for other events like this.

Woah. This is a great spot for brunch and drinks. My group and I went on Sunday to catch some NFL games and it was truly the best vibe in there. We went all out. Literally. We got the a tiered margarita tower and espresso martini and mimosa flights. All came out and were amazing presentation-wise. And for the foodies, we looooved the Birria Burger, chicken wings (garlic parm are bomb here), mazapan pancakes, Birria eggs benedict, and asada chilaquiles! If you get anything, try their Birria. Best around!

Had a birthday brunch for a friend here. Besides the terrible service throughout our stay, our server "RiRi A" surprised us by bringing us our bill (without the tip, we planned on tipping based off the service provided) then took our card & charged me for a 20% tip ($135 tip, if the service was up to par I'd have no problem paying more) but gave us one bill & came back with a much higher different bill already charged with the 20% tip. Typical bait & switch situation. I'm never about the money, always about the experience. Food was decent, service was terrible. Would not recommend. read more

I went here for a Birthday party. First let me tell you I have never been to Fullerton and I am from Orange County and drink at Bars and eat at restaurants in Laguna Beach this place has the best drinks by far!!!!! I will go back here just to drink if anything!!!! They also have the best seafood and pomegranate guacamole, I have ever had in my life. Thank you for the great experience at your Lounge. I have to say the staff is awesome as well. Not only are they attentive they are kind and have great customer service and when you get older like myself you want to be treated with respect and kindness and that's what I got even when I was ordering that purple drink lol. After reading the reviews I was really excited about this place. Then I saw the pictures on their website and the menu and was like, "whoa"! And then we entered the room... meh. Everything about this place is meh. I don't get the reviews. Seriously? Service sucks. Food is mediocre. My son, who is 18 and the least picky person in the world, gave me his empanada because it was so bland. How does this get any ratings over 3 stars? So many better eateries in the area. read more

Zama came out and catered the appetizers for my wedding on May 11th. My guests are still talking about how good the food was over 2 months later! I don't see why others would even give 5 stars. I ordered a michelada, the chamoy on the rim was disgusting and the michelada mix was nasty. My husband ordered one fish taco, there was hardly any fish on it very little topping on it. That was $7 for ONE TACO! A friend of ours orders the ceviche trio for $27 the portions were so small. Only good thing I got was the sushi with rib eye. Everything was overpriced. Small portions. In my opinion you are paying for the presentation of the food. Not quality. Will not go back. Do not recommend. read more

We came in on a Tuesday for some dinner. The bartender welcomed us to seat ourselves. The waitress did not seem like she wanted to be there. Took our drink order. Waited about 5 to 7 minutes. The bartender asked if our order had been taken. The bartender ensured our drink and food order was submitted. The food was good, the drink was good. we saw this new spot in downtown Fullerton where an old restaurant was for years and decided to try it, best idea! The food is so different, yet amazing. The atmosphere is so fun, and also decorated very beautifully, it makes you feel like you are on vacation somewhere. And most importantly, the service was absolutely amazing. Every single employee always smiling, offering to help, and the food came out so fast it was absolutely delicious. I will be back again and again! read more

Great happy hour and delicious margaritas! Between my husband and I we got the cucumber Serrano, pineapple Serrano and then I think it was hibiscus or passion fruit. They were all amazing I couldn't pick a favorite. The bar tender was the best! I wish I got his name but it was a younger guy. Super helpful, friendly and made the best drinks! We also got the guacamole and lemon pepper wings. The bar tender recommended the wings and I'm glad we listened - we will definitely be getting them again! read more

I went here for my friends birthday and we had a blast settling in here while we got 2-3 cocktails each. We went with a group of eight and we were able to get seated right away. Security was nice and very professional. What drew us in was the music was not too loud and the ambiance had such a nice lighting. It was a little funny that most of the staff kind of look similar, in that they were all put together, but nonetheless everyone was fairly and kind friendly. We had most of their cocktails and they were pretty strong which we liked. I wanted to try the $100 millionaire margarita, and it would have been nice to have boughten it for my friends bday, but I ain't that rich. The music wasn't too loud. They had cute candles, but they did take a long time to give us the menu. Other than that we had a blast. The place was just the right amount of people when we got there. An hour and 30 minutes in, the place started getting crowded with more people and some people were dancing. This place isn't really a dive bar, it's more of a lounge. I would go hear if you want to be able to drink casually and talk with your pals without having to scream. The new fashioned drink was pretty fancy and a little extra, considering they light it on fire in front of you. Kind of impressive. read more

Love this new joint in DTF! Randomly saw it while driving by because the ambience and lighting looked really cool and have really good food and drinks and service! So we brought a bunch of our friends for his bday and it was amazing highly recommend! Our server was Anthony and he was great! For food: -chicken taquitos -chips n guacamole -truffle fries -wagyu tacos -spicy wings -some shrimp dish -and i think it's called Zaria burgers? Drinks I don't even know the names but all the cocktails and seltzers were really good :) Highly recommend! read more

I came in for the first time this past Friday night with high expectations. I can easily say those expectations were easily met! Service was amazing, drinks were on point and food was delicious. My friend and I both loved the Wagyu and ceviche trio. To drink we tried the Zama Paloma, Zama queen, Rumble in the jungle, and El Jardin. The Paloma was our favorite followed by the Queen, and our other two drinks were good as well. I definitely will be coming back. read more

Food was alright. Came for bottomless mimosa but was never informed it was over at 2:00pm when the menu clearly stated it was 2 hr limit. Waited for 20mins just to get my mimosa and never got a refill before the "bottomless mimosa" ended AND we were never carded for ID, which is a clear violation. What a joke. I also asked for hot sauce with my brunch but got handed an empty bottle, when I requested for a replacement I never even got the hot sauce. I never got my juice that comes complementary with the mimosa. Service was horrible, the waitress tried to rush us out by instigating we needed boxes when it was obvious everyone was still eating with our plates half full. When we complaint to the manager she brushed us off. Overall worst service ever. Never coming back and would not recommend. Don't come for mimosas because they're slow to refill. Legit never got a refill. $25 for bottomless but I only got 1 glass. read more

I wish it went better because love dancing and it's a place to dance near my house but i definitely will never be back and would NOT reccomend this bar to anyone ever.

The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.

It may be dark but I feel like the outside seating loses out on the tiki experience. Validated 2-hour parking in the public garage. You have to sign up for an account on your phone and then scan the QR code for validation but it's pretty seamless.

My family and I decided to visit for the first time for British cuisine. It's not a far departure…read morefrom foods of other cultures around the locality, but you'll notice differences between British and American English, for example. Many of their dishes include chips, which during my visit, resembled steak fries due to their thickness. You'll also see that curry is a signature dish in the menu, which reflects how Anglo-Indian cuisine has maintained popular influence in the United Kingdom. I ordered Cutty Sark's curry with chicken, rice, and chips at medium spice. The name is derived from a British merchant vessel that operated during the late 1800s. The curry had a mix of savory and sweet flavors, which reminded me of both Japanese and Indian cuisines at the same time. I couldn't say with certainty that the curry fit into just one cuisine. Packed with some heat and bold in spice, it's a delightful and large dish if you desire a lot of flavor. Where the curry went a little off course was the addition of celery. The petiole is strongly flavored and distracts from the curry in my perhaps controversial opinion. Curry seems to better mix with potatoes and carrots. I tried some of the bacon sarnie as well. The word "sarnie" is an affectionate diminutive for "sandwich." American bacon usually comes from pork belly, which provides a flavorful yet oily crispiness. However, the British variant usually comes from the loin, which is meatier and leaner. I thought of the bacon here as similar to a savory ham. The sarnie bread is fried in fat to emphasize buttery flavor. The restaurant, filled with English decorations, has the style of a cozy and dim pub. There's a good amount of small wooden booths with cracked leather seating. Our server was really nice and made sure we got everything we needed despite the busyness of the restaurant. For example, my curry came with a chutney, and I had asked for a lid to take it home. While I forgot to take the chutney home, she went outside as she noticed that we took the back exit to look at their double-decker bus. She even offered to take a picture of us. The service deserves a lot of kudos, and we were grateful for her consideration.

It wasn't an issue for us, but taller guests might find themselves wishing for just a few more inches of legroom. For our meals, I went with one of their signature dishes, the fish and chips, while my girlfriend ordered the seafood platter. Looking to start things off properly, we asked our server for an appetizer recommendation. He suggested the chips with curry sauce, which sounded great at the time. What we didn't realize was that our entrées were already arriving with enough fries to sustain a small village. When the food landed, we suddenly found ourselves in possession of what felt like the restaurant's entire potato inventory. The curry sauce itself was tasty, but in hindsight, something like the garlic mushrooms or vegetarian samosas might have given us a little more variety. I ordered the two-piece cod fish and chips, which came with a mountain of steak fries and a tiny scoop of coleslaw that looked like it had wandered onto the plate by mistake. The fish was good, but the portion was impressively hearty. I made it about halfway through before my body politely informed me that further eating would require a nap. The curry sauce was enjoyable, though not quite the life-changing experience I'd secretly hoped for. The real MVP was our server, who remained friendly and attentive throughout the meal despite looking like he was covering half the restaurant by himself. He checked in regularly and did a great job taking care of us. Overall, the atmosphere was the highlight of the visit. Between the immersive décor, cozy pub vibes, and generous portions, it was a fun and memorable experience. Just be warned: if you order fries as an appetizer, make sure you're prepared to commit to a serious relationship with potatoes.

Dessert saved the night from mostly horrible flavors. Tiramisu, cheesecake and crème brûlée were delicious. I'm going to assume the chef was not working last night and back-up chef is still on a learning curve. Disappointing for the price tag. Ambiance is cute but typical Italian bistro with a full bar. And parking is miserably terrible in old town but that's normal for this area. Try if you're inclined, but maybe don't go for the pasta.

Decor great festive Service is damn terrible it took 30 minutes to get bacon and eggs and she forgot my bacon then i said nevermind cant wait I'll order wings and a drink never came. Finally like 15 minutes later, another server came up she seemed kind of more experience and asked me what I needed and I said I've been waiting 15 minutes still for my wings still for my drink they're not that super busy. I counted about 15 tables at most and everyone had their food. Finally I got my drink and food about 10 minutes later so we were late to go bowling, the service is truly awful. Fun! I love this place so much. I didn't realize I hadn't done a review yet! Zama is one of my favorite places to eat. I'm lucky to live nearby, so it's always an easy choice to go there for any meal or craving. I have not had a bad experience in all my visits. Everything I've tried has been great! Their birria, seafood, tacos, everything. I'm only sad they got rid of the steak plate, but I get it. I have a few other favorites, so I'm not worried. The staff is as amazing as the food.
