My experience here was beyond exceptional. My laptop would die as soon as I would take it off the charger, even if it was fully charged. When I contacted Dell regarding the warranty, Dell said they could fix it but I would have to send it in and it would take 2-3 weeks. When I explained this to Julio, he was able to get me in same day and diagnose the issue. He had to order the battery so I paid a deposit(that would go toward the repair cost) but Julio assured me that they would put it back together so that I was able to use the laptop while waiting for the battery to come in. It came in less than a week and they replaced it in less than 10 minutes. Don't want to have to have any more repairs soon but I know where I'm going if I do! I found this place while driving by and took a shot to find a charger for my Dell laptop and I had previously bought a couple off of EBay but it turned out to be cheaply made crap. But I went into the store and the guys were great and tried out two different chargers for my laptop and made sure it worked before I left. Now my laptop has power and I can work again! I also have a new place to get my repairs done and they also sell refurbished computers and monitors too if you don't want to spend a lot of money on new ones when these computers and monitors work the same just for less cash. Brought the computer in, the shop was very clean and spotless and well organized. We had him upgrade the ram from 2 GB to 8 GB and replaced the hard drive with a solid state Samsung. I have taken my computer here twice and both times have left a satisfied customer! Services are great! The first time was for a virus I had acquired- and the ZAP team was able to remove the virus and even installed an anti- virus to help with future issues. It took them less than a day to fix and charged $100 dollars The second time I had to take my computer in was because I did not have enough storage. I am a student and constantly have to download videos and notes and needed more space. The ZAP team was able to remove old files and make recommendations on files that I could delete- but what I liked is they called first to get my approval before doing so to make sure it was ok! So, Ive been thinking on what words i can put together to describe my business experience, i came to the conclusion that i have been thinking to hard as my experience was "EXTRAORDINARY" Julio went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I brought in a lap top of my girlfriends in which it needed major work to be done. It had a virus that wouldn't even display the home screen. He said "no problem we will do everything we can" 2 days and some hours later my lap top is in brilliant shape running like if it was new again. The work performed was not basic at all or what was just simply asked for, work was done beyond expected. He was even able to save all important info and family memories which are priceless. Also loved the fact that he keeps you updated as the process flows through and lets you know what maybe needed to be done before it is done. Business at its finest. I was looking for a reputable, honest and good repair shop after the hard drive on my iMac crashed. I saw the positive reviews here so I decided to come. From the drop-off to the pick-up of my computer, I could say nothing but good things. Friendly, polite, knowledgable and more importantly, they were able to get my Mac up and running once again, WITH ALL MY DATA RECOVERED!!! Fair pricing and excellent service all around. My surface pro 3 was not able to function after I logged in. The screen was unresponsive and completely blue, I thought my computer was done for. My experience working with Zap Computer Repair had been a FIVE stars experience. Julio and his team were dedicated, diligent and detailed working on my macbook issue. After Julio diagnosed my laptop, he found fluid inside. He also has a tech who has 30 years of experience fixing the issue. Also they fixed my underlying virus. Here is the a quick summary of my overall experience. Customer Service: Excellent! Julio is very good at following up and providing you an update via phone calls. Performance: As mentioned previously, they are experts on fixing computers and have a tech who fixed computers for over 30 years. If they cannot find the issue right away, they won't give up and continue to resolve the issue in a timely manner. If you are expecting to get your lap top at the earliest convenience. It depends on the issue of your lap top because sometimes it may seems like a simple issue. The problem can be more challenging than you would expect. But Julio and his team are able to fix it all. Most Impressive: Julio took two attempts to purchase a cable for my macbook in which it was one of the components my macbook won't turn on. He immediately reordered another cable when the first cable arrived later than expected. I was very impressed with his diligence and follow-up calls from him. Zap is a great computer repair store. This review is long overdue, but I came in a couple of months ago (sept?). My computer wasn't displaying images on our monitor, and of course, I was pretty nervous. But Julio was so patient so calm with all my questions and concerns. I remember it was time to pick it up, and it was 20 minutes before his shop closed. He did a great job, and when testing out the computer, it was taking a while to update, which was totally normal. And he was willing to stay way past closing hours to make sure my computer was working. Of course, I did not make him do that! But the fact that he offered, was so kind of him. There were about 5-7 damaged keys and to save money, it was requested to clean the keys. I had been having issues with my Lenovo laptop for a few months and finally decided to have someone look at it because it just was not working, and I was on the verge of tears. My husband talked to Julio over the phone explained to him the issues and he said to bring it in, and he would take a look. I brought it in a couple hours later, as he is down the street from us, explained to him that web pages were just not loading. He gave me worst case scenario and although it sounded bad, he would let me know. I got a call back from him later in the day and he said, "well there's not much wrong with it." lol. Fast, Honest and Reliable people!!! I am the Tech at our church, I consider myself pretty good with DIY repairs with PCs and replacing phone or laptop parts like screens, motherboard, hard drives, etc.. But I went to a roadblock when I tried to repair my friends laptop, a Macbook Pro 2017. The logicboard short-circuited when I replaced the broken screen and battery. Since the Storage drive is soldered to the logicboard for these models, I was in trouble to say the least. To save the files, I needed the logicboard repaired and not just replaced and I admitted that is beyond my skills already.......The people in Zap diagnose it and after a day the laptop was back to normal. My computer has been feeling like it's working a little too hard (loud fan) while not doing much. It was also kind of lagging as well. I decided I needed to get it serviced somewhere. I went to geek squad and they were sort of rude and offered a 1-year membership ($$$) and would take care of my issues, but it may be 4+ days. I'm in grad school and I use my computer a lot, so I couldn't go 4 or more days without it. I decided to look elsewhere and I found Zap Computer Repair. I called and explained to Julio what my issues were, he told me how much it would be to diagnose the issue and gave me an appointment to bring it in the following week. I dropped it off and he told me what would be happening and what he suspected was going on with my computer. He called me later on that day and told me that he needed to do a tune-up and explained how it all worked. He was very nice and patient with me, which I really appreciated! He called the next day to tell me it was ready and I picked it up and right away I could tell the difference! Quick service, friendly. Had a laptop that wasn't powering up so I took it in. The repair was actually finished earlier than the promised time. They were able to get all my important files restored for me, and even cleaned it up so it looks brand new. The computer runs well so far. Found my way here because I have SquareTrade insurance. They initially thought it was a battery issue based on screenshots I sent to my insurance, but ZAP did some quick tests and confirmed that it was a charger issue. They charged me for service/checks + charger parts, and I was able to pick up my laptop within 24 hours. What stood out to me at ZAP was that they followed SquareTrade's ridiculous requirements for reimbursement, so that I could get reimbursed the full amount I paid directly to ZAP.
