WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.... If i could give zero star, I would have. Their customer service is the worst. got a few gift items, unable to return, exchange or even get a store credit. Granted I didn't have a gift receipt, but once i obtained the actual receipt, they weren't able to honor it. clothes are def not worth the hassle. I love shopping at Zara, so I'm very sad to have to post this. I have purchased three items now that had a USD price sticker placed over a Euro price sticker. The problem is, the exchange rate conversion is very off. For example, I bought a a men's t-shirt for $25.90 USD, the Euro price underneath, however, is 15.95. The proper conversion should be more like $18.59 USD. I also bought two men's colognes, both priced at $22.90 USD, with Euro prices of 12.95 - again, not accurate, should be more like $15 USD. These purchases were made at the DTLA location and the Glendale location. I contacted customer service in search of an explanation and was completely blown off by three different representatives. How disappointing that such an amazing brand manages to have poorly managed stores that ruin the brand's reputation. Most employees at Zara Glendale fail to provide customer service over and over again. I am always greeted by employees who have 0 interest in their jobs and/or helping us customers. There are always crazy lines, which take over 30-40 minutes to finalize a transaction. While waiting in these long lines, employees are never kind enough to hold the heavy merchandise while you wait in line. You will be stuck with 20 hangers on your wrists for over 40 minutes (yes I do shop a lot). Boy, God forbid if you are a day or two late for your returns. I take responsibility in being late with my returns but the amount of attitude and rudeness I get from the cashiers is unacceptable. They can kindly inform you of their return policy and/or about the delayed return but they rather roll their eyes at you. Waited in line for 50min on Monday afternoon. They only had the main three cashiers open and told the people behind us to go to the kids section after waited for 40min. So every time I come to this Zara there is never anyone in the men's department to ring out and they always have a line if not a massive line on the other side. There is no one to help you and the optics of seeing employees in the back area by the fitting room folding clothes while Someone could ring you out is not good - the name of the game is to make a purchase ......this doesn't make a lot of sense to anybody watching this. I'm not sure if this is an issue of misdirection or miss management or you just can't find good people or keep good people . Who would want to work here and with it seeming so dysfunctional . Slowest cashiers of all time. Huge store, 25 people in line and only 2 cashiers taking their sweet time ringing people up. I kept count, it took 1 cashier 14 minutes to ring up 8 items. From the 14 minutes, 10 were spent on folding clothes to only stuff in a bag afterwards. Waited in line for almost 40 min to buy a shirt. read more

My rating would be a score of a Zero. The one star is for one diligent employee who didn't look at her phone or chit chat with employees, who was tagging and moving and truly interested in her work and task at hand, and yet she stopped to answer my questions several times. She deserves some recognition. Other than her, the management really needs to call in for a meeting, and do a 'clean up', of the store and of some of the employees! I tried to talk to a manager about my experience, but I was given excuses; and then I thought I should yelp it. Floor employees were doing busy work, mostly. The cashiers were so so unprofessional. So, imagine this: I am paying at the counter, and the cashier did not make any eye contact, continued her conversation with her co-worker, who was supposedly helping another customer, and then she left me in the middle of a transaction to show her friend what item she put on hold for herself! Wait, there is more... Then when my receipt was printed she handed it to me WITHOUT even looking at me, and then went to her phone! So, I said "hi, could you look at me?" she said, "this is not a phone, it's an ipad." hmmmm.... So, the place was a mess, only few racks were tidy... First off I would like to thank the young lady that was working in the fitting room around 12pm for helping me with something that the young lady on the floor was supposed to do. Now moving forward I will not return to this location. Worst customer service EVER! Seems like everyone at this location except for the young lady in the fitting room area had an attitude! When I say that the young lady on the floor didn't even try to help me lol there was no type of effort at all. If you're unhappy with your job find another one that suits your attitude. There was way too much negative energy at this location. Sadly to say but I strongly believe that I didn't receive the help that I needed because I am a person of color. The worst Zara in Los Angeles County!! This Zara only allows certain amount of customers shopping inside this huge store, so I had to wait in line almost an hour to enter the store. After I went inside the store, I found out some customers not even wearing masks! So what the points this Zara acts so serious to control the amount of customers inside the store???!!! Then, I had to wait in line for half hour to pay!! Overall, the shopping experience is horrible and wasting my time. Service here is excellent and selection of clothing is excellent too. I been here twice and the associates are much nicer than the one in The Grove/Farmers Market. I don't understand why Zara has such a hard time hiring helpful staff and figuring out an efficient way to complete transactions. I have been coming here for over 5 years and not once has there been a short line. The line is always out the door and prepared to wait 30-40 mins at the minimum to check out. I am very bored so I decided to make a review about this location. Zara is good, a little messy but that's not because of the employees... Customers are the real problem: they are a nightmar. I went there the other day and all I could see was ungrateful brats always complaining about everything: "oh the line is so long", "why don't you have more cashiers?" "I want this in blue but you're saying it's sold out so what can you do about it?", "why don't you accept my return? It's only been 65 days" "why do I have to wear a mask on my nose, how am I supposed to breath? It's on my mouth, it's good enough!" ... Oh man... How about you stay home and shop online? I stopped in at ZARA Glendale Galleria after a long break. As usual a unique line of mens wear at reasonable prices. Of all the local ZARA'S this location is the largest, nicest and most stocked. As an added surprise, I ran into my two favorite employees, David and Jose. Both are the epitome of friendly, knowledgable and professional customer service reps. It was great seeing them on the sales floor. If you need any assistance these guys are definitely the ones to ask. If you like stylish, classy, unique designs I highly recommend visiting ZARA whenever you're in the neighborhood. 5 stars for David and Jose. read more

Been standing in line to PURCHASE at Zara for over 10 minutes. I've watched three employees walk in and out of the back while a line of 5 people has built up and no one steps in to open a registwr. This is exactly why I never shop here!!!!! Doesnt matter which location in LA, the service is ALWAYS shit, working as a personal assistant for the last 7 years, I know what good service looks like, and Zara is anything but!! After checking out, the woman doesnt even ask me how I want my receipt, just throws it in the bag and doesnt say a word to me!!!!! Sorry but, their clothes are cheap, they may be up to fashion trends, but I'll be returning everything my son doesn't want for his CALL BACK this Friday. This is the only reason I even came here. Customer service at this location as well as Zara's main customer service 800-number is horrible. I purchased a product and I had to return, I received a partial credit and was told because it had no receipt on the other part that I needed to grab an item and I could return this item at another time. They would not offer a gift card credit and I was told "just grab anything" because I could return this at any time for a proper item. So I grabbed the first item I saw for 29.90 which was my remaining credit amount. I went back to the store yesterday I was told that the item is out of season, had I known this I would've grabbed another product for 29.90, and not something from the clearance rack. The clerk should have been informed or let me know that there was a limited return on clearance items and that they may go out of season. This must be one of the worst customer service is I have ever received, especially from the 800 number. I am out the $29.90 and with a product that doesn't even fit. read more

I drove 1 hour to bring my mother to shop at this Zara for her birthday since it's the closest one to us. After selecting our items we tried to get into the fitting rooms at 7:35 pm and they said they are closed because somebody is coming in over night to fix the lights (all the lights were on and appeared functional). We asked for the manager "Flavio" and he recommended my 70 yr old mother to just try on the clothes outside in public or just buy everything and return them later. Again we live 1 hour away and if a store advertises to be open until a certain time they need to keep all facilities open until then even if it's inconvenient for the staff to attend to the fitting rooms. Deeply disappointed and please address this issue with the staff at this store. Thankfully Whitehouse blackbarn gracefully attended to my mom's needs across from Zara and has earned our business long term. read more

TWO registers open out of 6 with at least 40 people in each line. 2 workers were in line taking people's hangers , to "make checkout easier" but they don't add any to work the registers.
