I am not the biggest fan of Zaxby's food because I'm not crazy about chicken tenders, I prefer bone-in chicken or a nice sized breast filet. But I was curious about the Asian Salad, so I ordered it. It is probably more than a bit of a stretch to call this a salad, or even a Zalad - come on dudes, lose the Zs, it is lame! Having said that this, this item brings a lot of food to your table! On a bed of mixed greens, there are 3 hand breaded chicken fingers, wonton strips, Asian slaw (kinda weird for a salad to have slaw), red cabbage (see previous note), carrot, and a veggie egg roll. This is topped with a honey based Teriyaki glazed. It also comes with a packet of citrus vinaigrette flavored by pineapple, orange, ginger, and sesame - this is obviously not freshly made! All in all, this was not a bad salad, but there is just a bit too much going on with both tastes and textures for my palate. The teriyaki glaze was too sweet and the vinaigrette just threw on another layer of sweetness. The chicken was pretty good and I really enjoyed the egg roll! The cost was a bit over $9.50 . Stopped for a quick lunch today. Gotta say- YES!! Both of our plates were hot and fresh! Staff was ready and willing to help right away- no waiting and our order was delivered quickly to our table. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere and not too loud. We will visit here again! Great job!! read more

You thought I wouldn't come back? Think again! I ordered a meal for myself and the chicken fingers meal for my stepdad for Father's Day a week or so ago. The only issue was the wait, but that was because I had a big order. The staff was nice, thankfully, and I received my order with everything I needed, no other issues whatsoever. Came here on a rainy, slow Sunday afternoon for some chicken. Our family loves Zaxby's, and we had to eat it before heading back to Colorado. We don't have them there. The person who took our order was great, but our food sat in a to go bag to the side for a lengthy period of time instead of coming out. My husband checked 18 minutes after we ordered on the status, and they finally handed it over. The chicken was cold by then and the to go containers warped from sitting. They also missed our sub bread for slaw. They were busy messing around rather than paying attention. We were one of two tables in the place and the other already had their food. The drive thru was not constant by any means. We came to this location because it was a 3 star rating versus nearby locations at 2 stars. It definitely isn't even a 3 star. Made me sad since we love Zaxby's. Maybe the next one we visit will be more customer focused. read more

Worst and only bad experience at any Zaxby's store. My wife and I are regulars at Zaxby's when traveling and wanting something fast and relatively healthy. We always order 2 Zalads with water to drink. On this first visit to the Bermuda Run, NC store, our ticket was very much higher than normal at other Zaxby's. When I questioned the amount, I learned at this store we were being charged $4.23 (with tax) for two tap waters (always no charge at all other locations we have visited).... And it was made worst when this store's counter staff and manager seemed contemptuous that I asked for the tap waters to removed from my order instead on simply paying over $4.00 for two tap water. read more

Saw these guys were at 2 and a half, so since my experience was good I'll try to do them justice. Cashier was professional and ordering the food was easy. I went through the drive thru and got a kickin chicken sandwich meal and a 10 piece boneless bbq wings (he clicked bone in even though I said boneless twice). I also asked for some extra seasoning for the fries because they usually don't have a good amount from this restaurant. So I think he was new because he had his manager come to help him with that. After I got my food, My kickin chicken sandwich was cold, the bread was not crisp, hardly any sauce on the sandwich so it wasn't soggy. Just cold and gross. The fries were warm, but they were very lightly seasoned. (Which is why I asked for more) Plus I got bone in wings which was almost the opposite of what I wanted in the first place... read more

We had a very nice experience here today. We were the only customers for a few minutes at 1:30 on a Tuesday. We had "zalads" that were as good as any we've had at any Zaxby's. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. Sandra took our order and was especially sweet and courteous. More customers came in while we were there. We will be back on our next trip through the area. read more

This is the most disappointing Zaxby's in our area. The staff is nice enough and I have given them several attempts, but the food is always barely edible. I am not for sure what the problem is but hopefully they will get better. read more

This location has gone to garbage. The staff are friendly yet extremely inattentive and never accurate. Every time I go, they do not include dressing/dips or they are wrong and the staff are just standing around talking or clueless. The food has been inedible lately. Placed an order at 2:00 for 5:30pm pickup. It was not ready until 5:55. Completely incompetent people working who argued with each other over who got the order screwed up versus working hard to make it right. I am new to the Zaxby chain, being that they didn't have any where I came from. Their wings are some of the best wings for a place that does not specialize in them. I have never been disappointed with anything I have had on the menu. They also stepped up to help our church with a fundraiser for a mission to Haiti. Thank you to them for that! It was my first visit to Zaxby's. I was impressed with the interiors. Loved eating their Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Highlight of my visit was the service I was extended by Wayne Thompson. Seeing him, the age is never the criteria. He served my order to the table, Brought me the cup of water, Ketchup, Napkins. Wayne was caring, attentive. Stopped in there on our way home for the holidays on Christmas Eve last weekend. There was a delay in the food, but the staff went above and beyond! Fast and easy...not the best wings..but Have had worse. Biggest issue is their Buffalo Sauce is thin and just not quite..."there"...service is fine, cleanliness is good ...kid's like it okay...Fried Chicken Fingers and salads are not bad. read more
