I thought I hated Zaxbys, but then we visited another in central Florida, it was pretty good. Zaxby's in Dothan- terrible example for Zaxbys. I am surprised that the ZAXBYS company is allowing this franchise to operate so far from a well-run operation. One of the most poorly run fast food restaurants I have experienced. First things first- fire the manager because they don't care, nobody cares at this restaurant. This restaurant will not survive with this bad service. My experience was terrible we had to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru and I was at the front of the line. We only ordered 3 combo meals and they didn't get anything right and we had to wait for the food after the wait at the speaker. When we asked to come to the window they were seemingly have a work discussion/disagreement that was more important than the customer service. This was a less than favorable experience. read more

Zaxby's is by far one of my more favorite fast food options. My personal favorite are the wings and I love the Wings and Things that comes with 3 chicken fingers, 5 wings, fries, and toast. I do wish the Zax Sauce was homemade and not pre-packaged. And there are not many more restaurants I would rather get a salad at than Zaxby's. The Black and Blue is my favorite with blue cheese crumbles, blackened chicken, tomatoes, and fried onions. I mix in Tongue Torch sauce to make a buffalo chicken salad. Sweet tea is always refreshingly sweet! This location is pretty new as of July 2018. It has been open for maybe 3 months. If you are a chicken person.. I highly recommend Zaxby's!! Also if you like wings I highly recommend Zaxby's!! The chicken is served with a sauce, the wings are traditional , they are cooked in a sauce of your choice! The service there is amazing they are super fast and the workers are all kind ! Four strikes youre out!!!! Okay, I understand the concept of opening day, especially in Dothan! But weeks later, the kinks should have been ironed out. I tried, I really did, as this location is within a mile of the house. I have ordered potato chips that have been burnt, under cooked, so salty can't be eaten, get the idea??? I have ordered 2 salads, chicken on the side, almost 20 bucks. Get home, have 2 LARGE containers of lettuce with what appeared to be 2 chicken strips(fingers?) chopped up in tin foil. I have ordered the Snack meal, to find anorexic chicken and cold, limp fries. The chicken here seems to be cooked in too large of a batch, so timing is everything if you want fresh, but we havent found that sweet spot. Drove by yesterday at 435pm, one car in parking lot. My family is traveling from out of state and we stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat. The cooks did an AMAZING job with the food! I enjoyed every bite I ate. The customer service however, did NOT impress me. To start off with, i'm not exactly sure how she spelt her name, but as Torri was calling the names for the food, she placed down opposite orders of the name she called. It caused confusion between the customers, as expected. Secondly, my girlfriend and I went up to the counter to buy 2 sauces. Mind you, I had my wallet in my hand prepared to pay for the sauces, as I knew it cost 25 cent each. We told Melissa, the cashier, what we wanted. From our eyes it looked like she grabbed 1 sauce so my girlfriend politely said "Hey, can you grab another sauce?" Melissa just looked at us like we were absolutely stupid and opened her hand to reveal the second sauce. My girlfriend apologized for the confusion and Torri came up to the register and told Melissa "don't let these people run over you". Excuse me?? I've worked in fast food and at plenty of places to know the difference between rude and polite. Instead of being an ass to try to make yourself look good behind that counter, start putting in mind how your actions reflect to others, especially the people who bring money to YOUR store. We travel frequently, but we will not be stopping here again! read more
