He helped me pick all types of sauce and they were delicious. We chose the 20pcs family pack. Chicken fingers were tendered and juicy, Texas Toast were tasty and crispy, same as French fries. We had not been to a Zaxby's in years. We were craving a Cobb salad. This was early January, 2024, so we checked out Zaxby's menu and they have a Cobb salad on their menu with your choice of fried chicken or grilled chicken. We each ordered one and were extremely pleased with our meals. We ordered through the app, and when we arrived, they had just finished bagging our food. The second time we went, which was in mid January 2024, we ordered two Cobb salads and an extra five piece chicken fingers. We also got fountain drinks. And they have a nice selection of flavors. And you know they have that good ice... We don't do fast food often, but this will be our go to. read more

Where do you start when for the first time you have to say something negative about Zaxbys? The customer service was atrocious at best. We had to wait for a lady to take care of us and we were the only ones there at the time. The lady was doing nothing. The food took like 15 minutes to get. Most of the food was barely warm. The worst part, besides the customer service, was the level of salt that the food had in it. I have never had that much salt on my food ever from home or any establishment. The salt was so overwhelming that I couldn't eat my food. The two bites I had gave me a stomachache for 2 days. The chicken sandwich smelled like fish. My guess is that the chicken was cooked in the exact same oil as the fish. I don't mind fish but I wanted chicken. I would've loved for it to taste like chicken and smell like hot grease or preferably chicken. Even the drink didn't escape the fracas. We had a lemon drink that had nothing but shaved ice. My wife had a sip then I had a sip. That was all of the liquid in the drink! I say this with no reserve but that was the absolute worst fast food I've ever had in my entire life period! I think that the staff has to be replaced from top to bottom. To allow that much missed opportunity in a place isn't good for the franchisee. Absolutely terrible! read more

Zaxby's is definitely my go-to fast food chain. The food is consistently delicious and the service is usually pretty quick as well. The cashier on the drive thru system was very friendly and patient. FUCK THIS ZAXBYS. NEVER have I been more inconvenienced than today. I go to place an order on their app which doesn't allow my order to be fully placed, but takes my money. This occurs 3 times so I can't afford food if I wanted to at the restaurant anyways. Even after letting staff know we'd more than likely be going hungry tonight due to us punching penny's, the decide a single 6 piece finger plate would be an accommodation to our two 10 piece boneless order. Fuck this store, fuck their stupid manager who couldn't read a room if the door was slammed in his face. Most importantly of all my entire night was ruined thanks to people who can't understand a basic issue. It's not my fault your app took my money and made me too broke to afford food. I must open with this fact. I like the Frankin Zaxbys restaurant. However, I had a bad experience that, unfortunately, got even worse. From the drive through an item I had ordered was burnt and I returned it and showed the manager. He offered to replace it, but I told him that zi wasn't interested in a replacement or refund. I asked him to simply have a talk with the people responsible. He was very nice and apologized and asked me to let him know the next time I visited. When I returned, I let them know as he requested. I thought that he was going to discount my meal as a form of refund which was fine. When I arrived at the window, the man working the window exclaimed that the item they ruined wasn't as expensive as what my order amounted to. I explained to him that I had asked for nothing and that I would pay for my salad. I found this very insulting. After all, I hadn't asked for any compensation. Then the man shoved my order in my hand and said it was on them and slammed the window. I still like my local Zaxbys. The food is excellent except for this once. I wasn't even going to give them a bad review over ok ne mistake, but then getting rude treatment, I feel I should. It's a shame how one terrible experience can make such a difference. The wings were very fatty and undercook. The coating was very heavy and poured on, not shaken, so there are parts o the drumsticks and wings that have no coating and others that have a thick blob of the sauce. This has to be the coldest Zaxby's I've ever been too. Seriously, had to be around 68 degrees in the dining room and all the fans were on. Asked the server about the temperature and she said: "The fan in the kitchen isn't working and they need the dining room cool to keep the kitchen cool." The funny thing is that the dining room is cold every time I visited this establishment. As to the food, it's meh ... nothing to write home about. Employees always have attitude any time you go in. I heard 3 of them talking rudely to a lady because she asked why she only got one sauce with a 6 piece of chicken meal or 1 sauce with the 3 piece meal. It's a legitimate question to ask. It was a question and they all 3 jumped all over her for no reason. She paid for extra sauce and they still got rude and didn't want to give her the extra sauce she paid for. The customer was not rude and asked them not to be rude to her. When she left they were talking horrible about her. We will never step foot in there again. read more

I ordered two family plates of chicken at 1:00PM and got the order confirmation right away. I set the pick-up time for 6:15 because that's what time we needed it to be ready. My friend gets there to pick it up and is lied to by one of the workers that "someone has already picked up the order." Which immediately I knew was BS because only my friend knew when to pick it up, so she asks for the manager and the manager proceeds to make excuses how the order hadn't even came through and it's not been made yet. Which is now a lie from an employee and now a manager because A. She lied about it being picked up and B. He lied about him not getting the order because I received an order confirmation. We ended up getting a full refund but thought I should still share because it was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Very disappointed. read more

Waited 25 minutes for a chicken sandwich meal and it wasn't that busy floors were wet lady almost fell

We got there between 630 and 7 on a Tuesday night. Wasn't crowded and I now know why. Bathrooms and restaurant were filthy. Never saw anyone cleaning tables. The chicken was over-cooked and the fries were cold. The chicken sandwich looked like it was thrown together and the tomato was an end piece rather than a slice. Odd. Really sad because the Zaxbys in my town is clean, efficient and the food is good. read more

My family normally likes Zaxby's but this was terrible. The drinks they gave us in the drive through were over flowing and dripping off the sides. We had to pull up past drive through and wait for awhile for our food. Then after we pulled away we were missing an order. My mother walked in the restaurant and it smelled like throw up. I like the chicken salad but love the chocolate shakes. First found Zaxbys in Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago. Visiting my brother in Franklin, NC and went for a shake. The kid behind the counter said they stopped the generic flavors, he didn't know why. I was stunned. He said I could get a chocolate cookie shake, my husband looked at me, and ordered one. Their drive thru is pretty fast and the inside restaurant is nice and clean. Have eaten here a few times on Fridays. The drive thru attendants are well trained and you can understand them. They always read back the order at the end to make sure everything is correct. I pretty much always order a Kickin Chickin combo. Chicken tenders drenched in hot sauce and ranch on Texas toast. Soooo good. Really like their crinkle cut fries (always crispy) and they have really good Coke (good syrup to water ratio - you Coke lovers know what I mean). Zaxbys has good food. And plenty to choose from. Everything is always fresh. However. The layout if this building is pour. U have people standing in a line around tables. It has a small order counter for order and pick up. So on Sundays after church it's extremely packed to capacity. I usually order the fried chicken house salad. Its alot of salad. And I usually get to take left overs to work with me the next day. The place is clean. Just wish their prices weren't so high.. a fAmily of 4 spends $49 here for lunch!
