Please, please CLEAN YOUR FRYERS. I have ordered several times in the last two weeks and each time the chicken has come out tasting and smelling like dirty, burnt oil. Change your filters, use filter powder and actually follow your cleaning schedule. I worked in several places frying chicken, i know exactly what this smell and taste is. Follow your process for cleaning, it exists to prevent exactly this god awful taste from entering the food. I wont be returning for a while. read more

My husband and I come here quite often. The fries are delicious and seasoned perfectly. I usually get the fried chicken salad w a side of fries- because I can't say no. They have their own specialty sauce (kinda like chickfila sauce) the only downfall would be that each meal only comes w one sauce and after that they charge you. They have yummy sweet tea, sweetened just right. The chicken is alright, Not the best but certainly not the worst. Went through the drive through today to grab a quick bite for myself and my wife. Let me tell you their is nothing quick about this place sometimes. So I finally got to the speaker to order. Ordered the girl was very polite and kind. Got to the window and she didn't hear what I ordered to drink. I told her again . I liked the fact she wasn't sure and asked I though gut that was cool. So eventually I told her I wanted a sweet tea. Pay and go to the next window. They hand me my food and drink ends up being a coke and not a sweet tea. But whatever. Do not order from this location on DoorDash. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. If you're going to nickel and dime customers for sauces, at least put them in the bag. Customizing a Zalad is near impossible on DoorDash which causes you to call the store. The store is unwilling to help because what you're asking for is an up charge and they have no way of charging the card. That isn't my problem as the guest. I don't mind paying for what I want, but I'm not even given the opportunity. I spoke to a Stan who claimed to be the general manager. He was nothing short of a disappointment as he guaranteed my food would be made correctly despite it arriving incorrect. I called back once I received my incorrectly prepared food to speak with Stan about what I feared would happen. All he had to say was how the customizations are available on Uber Eats but not DoorDash. There was no resolution. Serious changes need to be made to the locations menu on DoorDash and with the unfriendly management. This is my local Zaxbys and every single time I go SOMETHING gets messed up. Either I get no celery, I don't get the sauce I PAID for. OR the food is dry and horrible. What's the point of upgrading your building if the food is garbage. Quality and assurance should be key for fast food. This location needs help. No matter the time of day, you're guaranteed to sit in the drive thru line for 15 minutes. Not sure if it's a staffing issue or training....it could be both. Regardless, it's frustrating. Chikfila is always impressive with their speedy service in the drive through. And why not push them through quickly and get them on their way with hot food? I regret stopping here for lunch. Order was wrong incomplete food was pathetic and definitely didn't look like what was being advertised. I spent a total of $33 here and it wasn't worth $3. I didn't even finish my lunch I just bought it home and fed it to my dogs. Update. The rep from Zaxby's called me first thing this morning because I sent the pictures to the corporate office and they apologized and basically refunded my meal. They had a few complaints that day so they're going to be doing a investigation to see what's going on at that location and I guess I will give them. They are stepping up and doing the right thing. Food was of low quality. I eat at Zaxby's all over the SouthEast and the boneless wings and things platter was basically horrible. The boneless wings were all breading with no flavor, only recieved a small handfull of fries, the toast was very dry and old and the 3 small pieces of celery were the size of toothpicks. Normally I'm very impressed with Zaxby's for quality (for fast food) but this visit was very lacking. Overall restaurant cleaniness (at 7pm on a Tuesday) could have been better. Tables were greasy and several large food items on the floor in the dining area. The young gal that took my order, Kristal, was very polite and pleasant. It seemed like forever... waiting for my salad I noticed that I no longer have time to eat, and needed to go back to work. I canceled my order and manager refunded me $1 less than I paid. What a zaxbys disappointment. After standing in line for 20 minutes inside and watching 3 other people get wrong orders I finally grabbed mine and left. Shortly after I realized that the order was also wrong! We wanted fried pickles and they gave us a chicken finger sandwich meal. We circled back around to correct this mistake. If you are on a diet you should just steer clear of this place because even the "Zalads" will instantly cause the need for a triple bypass. Zaxby's was my favorite fast food for years. My favorite from the menu , the "Kickin Chicken Sandwich ". Up until 2 yrs ago there were 4 strips or 3 really large strips and would hang out of the bun. I'm a big zaxbys fan and was very impressed with this location, especially considering all the negative reviews I've seen. I can't speak for others but my experience was great. Was a very busy lunch and I got my food quick and hot. Only complaint I can think of was that one of the coke machines inside wasn't working so it took a few mins to get my drinks but other than that they were quick and my food was very good as always with zax. read more
