I live closest to this Zaxby's they never let me down. Always hot and always fresh, short wait times and everyone is always friendly.

My coworker and I went on a lunch break, that was our mistake. While there was no one in line before or after us, it still took over 10 minutes to get our food. This would have been okay but when we did get our food mine was all cold. The restaurant seemed very understaffed or poorly managed. It was not busy at all, there were 2 other customers in the store. read more

Most of the time I go through the drive thru and I get the Zalad. Today was no different, I ordered the House Salad and I requested the grilled chicken to be "buffaloed". I really wasn't a fan of the buffaloed version, but the salad was still good, especially for $6.99. The house salad comes with a piece of toast, usually it's a thick piece of buttery goodness, today I noticed that the toast shrunk since the last time that I tried it. I wonder if they still call it Texas Toast, or if they now call it Rhode Island toast. Oh well, when you're trying to eat healthy and order a salad, who needs carbs and bread? I'll keep telling myself that ;) Another thing that I noticed that changed since my last salad, was the onion crisps were missing. I first hit a Zaxby's in Augusta, GA when I would make the trek to visit my girlfriend, now wife. She was insistent , that I try this place when we first started dating. And after our first visit, it was a staple on future trips, we would always go here at least once. Well, fast forward about 10 years, and it's been awhile. But I came across on in Lexington, KY and it is no where near what I remember. The only thing that remained consistent with this company is the sauce. The tenders have been soggy on both my visit, as have the fries. Not sure if it's the time I visit, or if this is just typical to this location. I love Zaxbys chicken. Their grilled chicken sandwich meal is great. The tenders are a bit small but good. The only reason I gave it four stars is pricing is a bit high but the food quality is really good. The drive thru workers are always courteous with their greetings at this location. read more

My first experience here. Pretty good food, but nothing to write home about. Better than Raisin' Cane's though.

Bar none, the worst fast food service I have ever experienced! A few months ago I got the blackened chicken salad and got home only to have completely raw chicken inside. Then I go back to give them another try and wait in line, was asked to pull over to the side and proceeded to wait for thirty minutes for a coke and just fries. Tonight, their final and last opportunity I stop in for two milkshakes, again asked to be pulled over to the side and watched while at least 7 cars got their food and proceeded on their merry way. FINALLY a kid about 12 comes out to ask me if I want whipped cream on the shakes, to this I think well, we are getting somewhere. But proceeded to wait another 15 minutes. At that point when I went in to ask what the problem was and just get my money back they wanted to give ME grief because I was upset and THEN told me their machine was broke!!! WHy didn't you just tell me that in the beginning! Never again people never again and will tell everyone I know until they are completely shut down. I called their1-866 number to ask them why children work there who obviously aren't trained and of course got someone on Tim Buk Two! read more
