We went through the drive thru this past weekend to pick up 4 entrees. Could not have timed it better. There were no cars in line and we knew what we wanted by looking online prior to arrival. We had 3 house salads, all with special requests and each was exactly what we ordered. The salads were huge, fresh and very good. Also had a 6 piece tender dinner with fries and Cole slaw that my husband enjoyed. Fries weren't real hot, but they never are when you have to drive your food home before you eat it. Zaxby's is a pretty polarizing place. I'm not sure why. * It's clean. * The people are nice enough. * The food is better than standard fast food. I don't know what else you could want. The thing they have going for them is that they sell wings. That's a neat feature in a fast food place. And it's my go to. My wife, on the other hand, loves the salads and the chicken sandwich. Honestly, it's fast food. So it's only going to be so good. But it's better than any other fast food place out there, for the most part. Enjoy. read more

My husband and I last minute went out to eat and decided to go to Zaxby's because let's face it, their fries are the best. We went through the drive-thru and was greeted right away. The customer service person, tabby was very friendly and offered to help us find something on the menu if we needed. My husband ordered the 6 fingers with no coleslaw, extra fries and I ordered the 4 piece. Our food was warm, the fries were seasoned perfectly but my husbands "extra" fries didn't really exist and some of the chicken tenders we received were tiny. I feel like in these situations, they should include another one. *see picture* overall, I'm satisfied with a quick fast food trip but there are a few things they could do better. read more

I have never eaten at Zaxbys. We had a coupon. We both ordered the chicken club sandwich. My first thought was it is just chicken tenders on toast. Not crispy like I was expecting. The bread was very greasy. This was an issue since they didn't include napkins at the drive thru. The chicken club is 3 chicken tenders on greasy toast with cheese, mayo, a small amount of lettuce, 1 strip of bacon and the smallest tomato I have ever seen on a sandwich. For the $6 it cost I would think it would have been a better sandwich. We both agreed that we have had a lot better. Service was quick and employees were great. Will I come back? Not anytime soon if ever. read more

Went through the drive through on a Saturday around 9pm, only 2 cars in front of us. They pulled us up and said it would only be 2 minutes on the food. After ten minutes and 3 other new cars getting their food, I went inside and got it myself. I am new to Yelp and am trying to get a little used to how this thing works so I did a review of a place I really liked and a place I disliked. The dislike place was really easy. I was very excited to hear about Zaxby's coming to Dixie. I had never had them before but the friends I had really spoke highly of it. I was usually in charge of coordinating lunch for my work on Saturdays so we decided to give them a try. It was horrible, the chicken was overcooked the fries were cold and the flavor was average at best. I would say of the 15 lunches we ordered nearly half were left unfinished. I thought to myself that this could have been due to the fact they were a newly opened restaurant or they were not used to handling large orders so I decided to give them another shot. I have been back twice and have really never been happy with the food. I tried a few different options and the place isn't cheap. Not exceptionally expensive but not cheap. I can get wings at Hooters or BW3 for the same ballpark and the chicken tenders have let me down twice. I haven't been back in at least 5 months and have no intention to return. I am a little surprised there were no positive reviews on this place here. read more

Several weeks ago, I visited this location as I was in the mood for a salad and was told they had great salads. As someone who's been here several times, I had confidence in the restaurant to satisfy my needs. I ordered a Cobb salad, and immediately was told that they had no eggs. I said it was fine, that I would boil some when I got home. Sadly, upon getting home I realized that not only were there no eggs, but also no bacon and about half a thin chicken breast worth of chicken. I was severely bemused by this, so I decided to contact the restaurant before leaving a review on their site. I was told they would send a coupon out. After a week, I hadn't gotten the coupon yet so I left a review via the site on the receipt and cut my losses. The manager, Kevin, contacted me and left messages urging me to call him so they could fix their error. I called him around 1pm and it sounded like he was just waking up. I referred to his voicemail and he said "Oh yeah. Yes sir. We sent you a coupon out. Is there anything else I can do?" I said "Yeah, I'd like to know when you sent it out because this was over a week ago and I still haven't gotten one." He said again that they sent a coupon out. It's been nearly a month since, and I have yet to receive anything in the mail. I paid $8.76 for some lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a minor bit of chicken. I should have just gotten a salad from Kroger's salad bar. I will not be back to this location anymore, and it will be awhile before I visit another. read more

I ate at Zaxby's yesterday. The Buffalo chicken tenders, fries, and Texas Toast were hot and tasted very good. I also loved the nuclear dipping sauce. My fiancé had the Cobb Zalad. She said it was very good too. The staff seemed very friendly and courteous. An associate also brought our order to our table when we missed hearing our number called. After waiting over 25 minutes for a To-Go Order and leaving the location very disappointed, decided to call and voice my bad experience to the manager on duty. After waiting on hold for over 7 minutes and having to call back a 2nd time. I was told by the young girl that answered the phone that he was "Too Busy" to talk about anything!! I have to agree with the previous reviewers. I got the Zax Pack that is three chicken tenders, zax sauce and drink and a side order of spicy mushrooms. First order I got was cold, but they were very quick in returning a hot replacement. I thought everything was ok, including the much hyped Zax sauce. Not great, not bad, but nothing to write home about. If they lowered the price by $2, I would try them again, but $6 for what you get is too much. Went there today never had a problem before, ordered my grilled chicken with no lettuce manager repeated back and on the screen it said no lettuce get home open up the food and there is lettuce. Called to complain and the guy was like oh well no biggie. For me it is I can not have leafy greens because of a blood thinner. I assure you last time i will go there when you act like messing up someone's food is no big deal when you are in the food industry you need to quit and find something else. read more
