This is what you get when you order the "New York Style Cheesecake"

What we ordered vs what we received... unacceptable. Ordered a "New York Style Cheesecake" but received a cheesecake without any toppings and thrown in the container... Drove 25 minutes for this and it's not even worth driving back to get a refund. I knew I should have trusted my gut and went to Olive Garden instead. Lesson learned. Needless to say, we won't be back...

I don't believe I have ever given this type of establishment 5 stars, but they deserve it. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. My order was handled quickly & delivered to the table hot, fresh & yummy. The establishment is very clean and I couldn't find dirt even when I was looking for it. (You know, windowsills, under tables, etc) I had a small issue while I was here that I brought to the attention of the young man behind the counter. He immediately apologized & corrected it...no questions asked. A young lady named Sarah was exceptionally friendly & always offering you warm, fresh breadsticks. She made it a point to ask each guest if she could bring them anything. When she wasn't interacting with customers she was always cleaning something. This girl doesn't let any grass grow under her feet! It's rare to see a young lady working so hard in a place like this. She deserves a raise! This is my first time at Fazoli's in many years, but if this representative of the way they all are...they can expect me to become a regular again.

This Fazoil's is usually not too busy. When you have young kids who love spaghetti and this is close, this is where you end up. They do have a rewards program where you can opt into texts and get discounted meals, free stuff and more. We aren't members simply because we don't eat here very often. Today we are around 5ish on a Saturday and there was no wait to take our order. Young lady at counter was friendly. We ordered a kids spaghetti meal, baked Alfredo combo with a slice of pizza, and a side Cesar salad. Was $18, which isn't too pricey for three people. They have the coke freestyle machine which allows you to choose your drink options, tons to choose from. The silverware is at condiments and drink center so be sure to grab them before you sit. They will bring your meal to your seat. See pictures of our food, it was just ok! Cesar side salad is simply lettuce with a few pieces of Parmesan cheese and a packet of dressing. I added as much as I could to it, so I could eat it. My son ate is cheese pizza slice and only a few bites of his spaghetti. My daughter only ate half of her baked Alfredo. We had to ask for additional breadsticks, usually they come around and ask, this time no one came around at all. The breadsticks are unlimited and are super salty and greasy. This is truly just a request of my 7 year old, if not we would not have chosen to eat there. It's food and the restaurant seems clean, that's about it.

Greeted by a friendly face as we walked up to place our order. Ordering went smooth, then we took some hot bread sticks to our table as we waited for our food. Food came hot and fast..... (see pic). We got more bread sticks which were very hot as well. There bread sticks are all you want at no extra charge.

If you like noodles with just a spoonful of sauce.

Initially we were going to share a pizza but since they offered a 10 inch we both went our own way. Bestie ordered the Hawaiian & I chose the meatball. While noth pizzas were yummy, the meatball was clearly the better of both. The crust was seasoned perfectly and crunchy but not hard. The meatballs had a perfect flavor, moist and covered with cheese. I mean, how can you go wrong with cheesy meatballs? I also ordered a Tito's Island Punch and let me say, it packed a delightful, delectable & delicious punch! I'm a lightweight but it was so good that I almost ordered another one! They may be a chain but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of our food, our server Chelle (not sure if this is her correct spelling but she was perfectly lovely) and the price point. I would definitely dine here again.

(2:30pm) Everything was hot & fresh. I really liked my salad but next time I'd say bacon bits on the side. They pile it on. Same with the onions, I just picked some off. The peppercorn ranch was good. I got the Hot honey pizza & my husband got the Big Four Meat pizza. We thought it was a good pizza. We both got the regular crust. They were flavorful & they didn't skimp on toppings. The breadsticks were fresh & had a good garlic flavor. I preferred the beer cheese/red sauce to dip. He thought the garlic butter was one of the better butter sauces he had in a while. So it all depends on personal preference. Overall I'm glad we tried them out.

Theyre doing wood fired Neapolitan style pizza with sourdough. It has a really amazing chewy texture. We went with the Puttanesca.. briny and tasty. Good with wine, too. We also got the Fungi with a variety of local mushrooms. We also loved the funky Caesar salad with anchovies.. i love anchovies... The space has a cool, intimate atmosphere that's great for couples or small groups, the staff is super friendly, and they've got fun merch for sale at the front. It's a bit hidden but 100% worth finding. Highly recommend, especially if you love authentic Neapolitan-style pizza.

Our cocktails were on point and refreshing, as was the citrus salad. We ordered the Milk and Honey pizza with the house-made sausage...very tasty. The restaurant is warm and cozy..a great atmosphere. I will definitely make reservations next time and sit in a booth or table, but I must say I really did enjoy chatting with the bartender...he's great. The only downside here is the parking. We arrived around five on a Sunday and it still took my husband a while to find a place, especially since snow mounds were still abundant ... I can't imagine if you arrived primetime on Friday or Saturday. We will definitely return.

I have dined in and carried out pizza and pasta and we have never been disappointed. The bread sticks are soft and slightly chewy, a real standout. I love the pizza crust. I tried pasta for the first time recently and while I prefer the pizza, the baked spaghetti I ordered was also quite delicious. The interior of the restaurant is a fairly small space without frills but comfortable. The courtyard at the Mellwood arts center where it is located is a great place to eat outdoors in good weather. Danny Mac's has single act and small ensemble live music occasionally which is a nice touch. Ample parking in the arts center parking lot.

And for the first time, we sat in the courtyard just outside its main doors at Mellwood Art Center. On a warm fall night, this was delightful. The kids had enough room to run around a bit, having fun looking at the big art pieces that surround the space, while we could sit, drink beer and eat pizza. The Cracksticks continue to be my absolute favorite. Even if it's just my small family eating dinner from Danny Mac's, these are a carb-filled, dripping-in-garlic must. And we got a basic pepperoni pizza, though the Hawaiian, Chicken Bacon Ranch and Meats pizzas are also delightful. From the crust to the toppings, everything is consistently perfect. Danny Mac's also has decent beer on tap, or you can get a bottle of Ale-8. A true Louisville food staple. So thankful for it.

This is a terrific deal, plus it makes us get out of our rut at eating at our favorite place all the time. I will be honest, I have not been to Impellizerri's in years. We've been to Italy and Italian Switzerland many times and love their very thin, fold in your hand pies which have fresh tomato sauce and flavorful local cheese. I was hopeful- Impelliizeris had a thin crust option! Unfortunately, it was as disappointing as I remember. The crust is too doughy, the sauce is bland and the cheese was thick and tasteless. We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available. Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio. Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.
