I got up out of the bed to go get food through the drive-thru. When I ordered I was specific and polite in saying to please ensure that my food is hot and fresh. They said ok. I paid, got the bag of food, opened it up and looked at it and absolutely no heat and it was not fresh. I threw the whole thing in the trash because I was disappointed that I took the time to choose them, pay almost $12 for a meal that I couldn't eat. "Zoe T" was the name on my Zaxby's receipt. I made it a point to notate it because the service as well as the food from her was just crazy. The tenders and fries had both been sitting. She obviously did not relay my message. I told them that I did not mind waiting for hot and fresh food. I guess that didn't matter at all because they gave me what had been sitting all day. Also, while I was there waiting at the window, the girl on the drive-thru headset was rolling her eyes in frustration at the driver behind me who was simply asking to have their tenders buffalo'd in the tongue torch sauce. The Zaxby's lady was really rude and said that the Buffalo Sauce and Tongue torch sauce are the same. They are absolutely not the same. She then immediately said "do you want it or not" to the customer. After seeing that, I had a feeling that my food was not going to be right but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. When my food was not what I asked for (hot nor fresh), I proceeded up the street and went to Chic-Fil_A where I should have went in the first place because service is always at it's best. I threw the entire Zaxby's order in the trash when I got home and the only reason I didn't go back in Zaxby's to return it is because again I got up out of the bed and went so I was still in my pajamas. Lesson learned that I will never be back to this particular location and even if in my pajamas I'm going in to get my money back, period. Businesses should understand that each order is a customer's choice choosing them to and expecting kosher product. Customers dont want to throw money away. We gave Zaxby's a try after a long weekend on the lake. Everyone was hungry & exhausted so we decided to get take out. Unfortunately they only gave us half the orders we paid for. So after debating on who would drive back, I was able to muster some energy & head out. I was very pleased to have the manager quickly and kindly offered replacement meals. She was so nice and even let me know a few different menu options. The food was hot and delicious. My salad fresh & crisp. The restaurant itself was very clean and offers ample seating. I hate this because I usually love this location during the earlier hours of the day. Ran through a couple of drive thrus for the family. Hit zaxbys first, by the time I get home I realize I'm missing an entire meal. And with all of the receipts flowing around I couldn't find the zaxbys receipt. So I went in and told the kid at the front what happened. He finally gets the manager. When the manager questions the order taker, and the person working window, I hear them both saying "that's a lie", "he's lying". As someone who has been a manager in fast food since 17 yo, this particular experience was honestly unacceptable. The order taker was choppy at the speaker with taking my order, it sounded like she had more important things to do at the same time because she definitely was not paying attention to my order. And at the window, complete silence. Not a "hi how are you" no "have a great night." Nothing. Manager was fairly nice and professional about it, and gave me my missing meal. But things to take from this, the customer is always right. (Even when you know they are not!) + even when they aren't right you can't be screaming that the customer is a liar! And when you disappoint a customer you lose business. This is common sense. At least you'd think. Do better at this location!!! read more

Was enjoying the quiet, didn't last long, kids came in and, the parents now a days don't know how to keep them calmer than that, not the kids fault. I ordered the large chicken strip platter , LOL unless you are planning on two people eating it, get the small I'm a big girl and I couldn't eat it all. They bring you the food after ordering they also come back and check to see how things are, extremely nice. Apparently, the concerns that I originally raised appear to have been addressed. Returned to the same location again today and was pleasantly surprised in both quality and service. Kyle provided prompt and courteous service. The food plate was 180 degrees out from what prompted my original comments. Although improved, I still am not completely convinced that the changes will take, as such I will try them again sometime in the future and repost, again. I would like to thank Martica M., the Social Media & Public Relations Manager for acting in a swift manner and responding to my concern. Have been wanting To try the spicy Zaxby sandwich. So today was the day. The sandwich was really good. The meat was crispy the bun was soft and had good flavor. The fries on the other hand were Less than. They were either cooked in old oil or they were old french fries and way too salty. When our food was delivered we asked for ketchup. The person that delivered our food ,which was the manager, mumbled something as he walked away and then never came back with ketchup. So I proceeded to go ask for ketchup and I got three packets. For Two people fries this is not enough. So my husband went back and asked for more and he received three packets. Since I'm not really eating the french fries I guess it's plenty. Was not impressed. The last two times I have been here for to-go, they have under-sauced the wings so much that you wouldn't know they had any. Literally, the box was bone-dry after taking the wings out of it. Zaxby's wings aren't inexpensive, and the only reason to choose them over any other is their unique sauce flavor. If you don't get the sauce, it is a total ripoff. Buyers beware. I went to try the brand new zensation sandwich my brother was raving about last week. I usually ask for fresh or extra toasted bread because I like mine a bit crispy. When I get my food it was good but my chicken/bread wasn't even room temperature. The bread was more cold then anything. The fries were a bit bland but were decent and my egg roll was pretty good. Considering I love this place, this may be the worse location. I came here last week after what was a long day at work so I figured I would get some food. Drive thru looked like it was not moving anywhere so I figured I would go inside. No joke, I ordered my food at 8:38pm and was waiting for the food. The manager himself came out and we talked for a moment. at 8:54pm the girl who took my order looked at me and asked "are you still waiting" I wanted to be smart but decided not to be. She then found out that nobody was making orders for the inside order part as they were more focused on drive thru. The manager came out again and saw I was still there and asked if I was waiting for something and I was like "yeah my food" he then noticed something was not right. After a few more minutes I got my food and he apologized for the wait and I went home. Food yet again was messed up. Twice I waited in line 20?minutes, as did a long line of cars behind me. I have accepted the wait, because I think the salads are wonderful. First off let me say we love Zaxby's. But they have got to make some changes at this location. Thru the app, I placed an order for curb side pickup. Arrived and called to let 'em know I was there. Was told that they don't do curbside after a certain time. The app said nothing about this. Called again and asked who's decision it was to not do curbside and was told manager. Asked to speak with manager ... manager (James) said he wouldn't let his 'girls' go out after a certain time. OK ... first, when I asked for him to deliver, he said 'I won't do that', not I can't, I won't. Secondly, isn't it sexist or something to say his 'girls' can't do that ... maybe his 'guys' can. Well now I have to get in the drive thru that is wrapped around the building ... wait another 10-15 minutes for food that has been setting there for 10 minutes already! Now there is a guy taking orders before the usual menu/speaker board. I pass him taking someone else's order and get in line. Here he comes saying I broke in line. I explain I am picking up an order that is already ready and James said to pickup at window. He goes to get the manager ... which turns out to be a very nice lady and not a James. I have been to this zaxby's as a customer and as a door dash driver a numerous amount of times and have had a pleasant experience until today. Routinely, when I receive a DoorDash order from this Zaxbys, I use the drive through to pick up their meal to limit my exposure to other people. This has never been an issue and I have always been directed by the employees to round the building to the pickup window to receive the order. Today was no different, I was picking up a DoorDash delivery through the drive through and after being directed by THREE different employees to continue waiting in line and to pick up the order from the window. When I hit the window, I was shocked to be greeted by an awfully rude woman refusing to hand me the order. This woman had the CUSTOMERS food ready behind the counter and after allowing me to wait 10+ minutes in the drive through, she was refusing to hand me the order. The proper way to address this situation would be to HAND me the order and THEN explain to me to come inside next time ( to which, I would comply) But no. This woman made me late to delivering their customers order for absolutely no reason. I'm literally making your business money by delivering your food. I don't understand why some people are so rude to dashers who are respectful and only doing as they are told. I've never left a yelp review before but I could not believe how rude this woman was to me. Some people get so power hungry off of having a title at a fast food joint apparently. I feel really bad for the employees that have to work with her.. I was only inside the building for a few minutes and was uncomfortable with the way that she was barking orders at the employees. I was disappointed today for the first time ever at a Zaxby's. The cashier Elizabeth greeted me with a frown on her face. No welcome to Zaxby's , No how are you may I take your order? Just a frown. In an attempt to lighten the mood I asked how her day was going. Her response was, " I'm here." Do you know what you want? So I placed my order, I'll have a ceaser zalad, please. I remarked that she seemed to be having a bad day and that I was sorry if she were. Another customer approached and commented about something unrelated to our interaction and said she knows, referring to my cashier. The cashier almost started to smile and the clamped down, right back to her apparent negative attitude. So I jokingly said, oh you almost smiled, your day must be getting better. She just gave me a dirty look rolled her eyes and asked if I wanted anything else. I said yes and ordered a drink. I told her I was just kidding her about her smile and that I was just trying to lighten the mood for her. Nothing. Just my total. Now I'm getting irritated from her obvious lack of care. But, I wished her the best, I smiled And told I hoped her day got better. When my order was delivered it was by one of the managers. I expressed my interaction and concern that Elizabeth's current attitude was hardly a positive representation of Zaxby's and that maybe someone else should be cashiering and greeting customers until Elizabeth could portray a more positive attitude. I don't know her, I can only assume she is a good worker and she was the face of Zaxby's when I dined, so I have to assume she has proven a positive customer experience in the past for her to be in that position. The most concerning was that after I brought my concern to the manager on duty No change to improve occurred. Now the manager was on one register and There was Elizabeth still frowning exhibiting that negative attitude. So, for me I will wait awhile before returning to this Zaxby's. I do pray for this young lady and hope she can get some Joy going. In the meantime maybe her services would better serve Zaxby's behind the scenes and not interacting with customers. read more
