This was our first time to Zaxbys. We ordered two of the nibblerz, a side of Asian slaw and a 5 piece tender. The drive-through worker was extremely pleasant. We didn't go in the restaurant at all. The tenders are similar to raising Cane's but smaller. We didn't care for the slaw at all. I would've preferred it if it had just been regular slaw and not the Asian flavor. Also the nibbler's had the tiniest tiniest chicken strip you've ever seen on them. Not bad just excessively small. And I know it's a personal thing, but I prefer canes sauce over Zaxby's. Most likely, I'll try a salad next time. read more

I just moved to Mustang and came in here a couple days ago. I've been to Zaxby's only a couple times before , once in Laurinburg , North Carolina and once in Las Vegas , Nevada. The one in N.C. was disappointing , tenders not good , dining area dirty and water all over the floor by the soda machine. The one in Las Vegas I got the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla and it was sooo good. Sadly it was for a limited time only. If they bring it back I will gladly come back for it. I got the Asian Chicken Wrap this time at this location. The lady I ordered with was nice and she said the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla was her favorite too. I got my order to go and it was a good sized wrap , but it didn't have enough sauce on it so it was kind of dry. Next time if I get one I will ask for extra sauce on the side to dip it in. It was okay , but I might or might not order it again. I personally don't think Zaxby's chicken tenders are better than most places. I tried their chicken tenders with several sauces when I was in Las Vegas. I know a lot of people really like Zaxby's , but I'm not that impressed. I will probably come back later to try new menu items and especially if they bring back that Chicken Fajita Quesadilla. read more

Speed. This zaxbys is incredibly slow and understaffed. Two cars in the dt was enough to slow my pick up order to almost 15 minutes. The staff was really nice but their speed just kills the experience. read more

Chicken strips are a guilty pleasure of mine... I love me a good chicken strip! I'm not sure why I've never tried Zaxby's prior to now, but I'm glad I did. I went through the drive-thru, which was prompt and polite and dare I say comparable to the service at another very well known chicken establishment. I can't speak for inside the restaurant, but I didn't wait long for my food. The chicken and fries were both too hot to eat straight away and that seems to not be the norm anymore! I was pleased by this. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to stop by again when in the area!! read more

This is my first visit to any Zaxbys location. I LOVED the inside layout and accoustics immediately! I happen to be here during Sunday post church lunch rush. That means lots of family talking to include young children and crying babies. The accoustics are so good, its not even remotely annoying! And few things annoy me more than parents who dont appropriately manage their childrens noise level in a public place! Just sayin. The place appears to be kept really clean, for the most part. They would benefit from someone cleaning off used tables in a more timely manner. The service was timely and friendly! The staff never appeared rushed or overcome, they remained calm and pleasant during the entire lunch rush. Food seems to be ready in cycles, so that tells me they are cooking fresh constantly, nothing is left sitting. This is excellent! I had the 4 chicken strip meal with tater chips. The chicken has very light and crunchy breading that is mildly tasty, meaning it doesnt sit heavy or oily when I eat it. I eat A LOT of chicken, and this is the first time I have seen chicken flake like white fish. Its also very plump and juicy. The meat itself is nearly flavorless, which allows the breading to shine. I suspect the chicken is injected with water at some point before the cooking process. That creates wonderful, juicy chicken, but sacrifices flavor. The quality of meat cut is excellent! There is nothing worse that getting gristle, fat, or that weird spongy part of chicken. I did not have any of that! (McDonalds should take note). I did dip my chicken in the sause...it was good, and helped create more flavor. The tater chips were my favorite part! Lightly seasoned, crunchy and just deliciousness! The coleslaw is the same you get from KFC or any other semi-fast food chain. The texas toast....well, its texas toast. I love texas toast, but in this case, I couldve gone without it and still had a good lunch experience. So why not 5 stars? I would rate it 4.5 stars. In comparing apples to apples, Zaxbys is up near the top, but its not the best. Chick-fil-A still holds that for me. read more

Yummy! Our family enjoyed the food and everything was hot and fresh. Our daughter likes their drink station where you pick from a large variety of drinks and we love their ice. We will return to try some more menu items. read more

The food here is very tasty. The cobb salad is awesome. The traditional wings was good and hot as well. This is definitely country cooking cause you get bread with everything including the salad. read more

Gross. The first time i went to Zaxby's it was new and so not worth the attention. The chicken was dry and tasteless and my food took over 15 minutes to get after ordering. I've now tried it three times hoping it was just the once or twice but the same thing. Dry and tasteless chicken. My wife and I love to go to Zaxby's when we are in the OKC area. We get to the window and they say it will be 10 minutes to make the wings. No problem pull to the front and wait. I run in to use the restroom and discover they are open for dine in. I wait 25 minutes on my food and as I received my food all I got was "here you go" no utensils or napkins or anything due to Covid these items were kept behind the counter. They get one star due to I cannot rate lower. Hours this Friday show open till 11 pm. Waited at drive they for five minutes when a kid finally opens back foot to say they were closed. I said it isn't even 10 yet. He went back in and some high school girl comes out and says they shut down at 945pm this fine Friday night. Service is great but the chicken isn't the most flavorful. They have great fries though. I have noticed that this place isn't very busy. It might be because it's on the edge of town and on the end of all the other places to eat but I am not sure. It is not my favorite chicken place but it isn't the worst either. read more

we pulled into the drive through and sat there for 5 minutes with no one answering. she was then very rude after we tried to get her attention many times and it seemed as if we were bothering her for being there. we could not hear her well and after we ask what she said she would just get loud and dramatic with her words. this was my 1st time coming to a zaxbys and i will not be coming back again. read more

If the service had been better, I would've given this place a better review, because the food was good. We went through the drive through, and the young lady working the window was rude and actually rolled her eyes at us. To make matters worse, we ordered fried cheese bites, was charged for them, but we didn't get them. We didn't even receive napkins in the two bags of food we received. Today I went to grab lunch for my husband and I because this is what he wanted for Father's Day lunch. I typically love zaxbys however this location has made me very hesitant. A few things were missing from my bag and I didn't notice till I was home. I then called the restaurant to ask what needed to happen since I paid for some of the missing items. I asked, "do I need to come back or what needs to happen?" The girl proceeded to laugh as if I was stupid and told me that I'd have to come back in. I was assuming they could just refund the card without me going back, but clearly that was a stupid assumption. I will not be coming back or referring people to this location. I have visited this location twice. I found the Chicken Fingers to be very good, as was the Cole Slaw. Chicken wings that my wife ordered were not worth eating. They were cooked until they were brittle, just crusty skin on some bones. The lady at the register was not well trained in dealing with the public...I gave her a twenty and she handed me a wad of money as change and just said "here". On neither of my visits did anyone bother to thank me for coming to Zaxbys. On both visits the restaurant was not very clean. On my second visit one of the two ice machines was empty and I took two of the last three straws. Don't think that I will return. Such a shame, I really wanted to have a good chicken restaurant near me, this just aint it. read more
