I tried Zaxbys yesterday, only had the chicken fingers and sauce. They looked amazing, were hot and cooked perfectly. However, they were just bland. No seasoning, not even salt or peppered. I did not try anything else on their menu. Prices were a bit on the high side. My 5 fingers and a medium soda was $8.21. The fingers were not that large, but filled me up. The staff was excellent. Update: I've been coming here occasionally since it opened only because it's convenient to Costco The chicken is ok, as I said previously. The Tongue Torch sauce is tasty. Service is quick and friendly but is is terrible! They NEVER GET THE ORDER CORRECT! It's always something. Arrived at 6 PM when store stated they close at 7 PM but they locked all the doors, forcing customers to use the drive thru. Sat in the drive thru line 20 minutes for 3 chicken fingers before leaving without any food. No movement, no food came out in the entire 20 minutes. This was my first visit to Zaxbby's for lunch. My,granddaughter Ryan is always raving to me about the one in Atlanta.I'm sorry to say i was not impressed because,my chicken was old tasting and French fries were horrible also my niece had blue specs inside her chicken strips which I've taken a picture of and sent to my lawyer in case she gets ill.When i called the manager back to complain she,stated there was nothing she could do.This was the restaurant located off 59 & university. read more

The food is what you would expect of a new chick-finger restaurant. The salads are large and good. We went when the cold front was coming. It was not cold or hot outside, but by the time we drove under the freeway to Zaxby's, it was very chilly, maybe even considered cold. We sat inside at three tables, but each was chilly. The ceiling fans were spinning on medium speed. I told the counter lady about the weather change and that A/C plus fans was not comfortable. I asked her to have the fans turned off. She said that she would, but it never happened while we were there (more than 30 minutes). The first time we went to Zaxby's (weekend), the drink machine was out of about 80% of soft drinks. The second time (weekend), the ice machine was not working and about 50 % of drinks were out. The store is clean and has a nice atmosphere and plenty of parking. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite after going to Costco which was always a great experience. Counter order four should be ease of convenience. Orders here were a mess as well as the front eating area. Leadership was non existent but there was a shift leader on duty but he seemed flustered and annoyed that orders where so large. I ordered a single person meal and was skipped to receiving my order 30 minutes later... I was number 44 and was not acknowledged until I walked up to the counter at number 55 at that point I overheard the kitchen say that they missed my order.. at that point I shared my dissatisfaction with a team member whom was the cashier doing all she could. I did not receive any apology for the wait or any assurance that they were working on improving or just any reason of positivity at this point. In summary I don't eat fast food often only for convenience. Leadership needs a massive improvement kitchen staff was lost although there were about 5 members in the kitchen and two up front. Eating area was a mess and no one on the staff seemed to care. With so many great choices in Sugar Land with outstanding customer attention Zaxby's I would recommend to eat at Canes or Chick-fil-A heck even KFC in Sugar Land and see the difference in appearance and service. The food is great, I had the Cajun chicken sandwich and it was really juicy and the employees were sweet!

This was our first time trying zaxbys so we went inside. First impression of the restaurant was that it was inviting and very clean-which I love! The menu was a little difficult to read and their list of sandwiches doesnt give any information about each. We were impressed with the different selection of chicken that they offered, compared to canes. They had a wide variety of sauces which was also a plus! The strips were cooked perfectly and were juicy! We also tried to cheese bites and they were okay. Not bad but not the best weve had. DISHONEST. Ordered the white cheddar bites. I do not consume any form of alcohol and a large percent of the customers living in the area do not either. Zaxby's is my absolute favorite place to eat. Being from Georgia where they are on every corner, this is a dream come true. Service isn't Chick-fil-A style but it's good enough. Food is always fresh and very consistent as I eat there 2-3 times a week usually. Hate the Coca-Cola freestyle so thankfully I love the Sweet Tea. The chicken fingers taste better than Canes, even though they are smaller in size. Zaxbys has many more options than Canes as well like Salads and Wings. Only thing to make me love them more would be delivery on UberEats or DoorDash! read more

My other half travels a lot and was always talking about Zaxby's on the road. He was excited to find out there was one just 10 minutes down the road from the house. So he took me there. Staff there was excellent. Great customer service. I believe they have more options than a raising canes. So I will plan to eat there more often without him. read more

To shorten a very long story, we went through the drive thru, got our drinks and then asked to pull up and wait - which we did. Wait and wait. They made our order three times because they gave the first TWO orders away to other cars. The Manager promised a refund and that still didn't happen. Finally got the order home and it was wrong. A complete mess. This was not our first time having this problem with this location. Same manager on duty both times. An hour I won't get back. Stay away. read more

I've been here a few times before and it was pretty good, however tonight this was not the case. I waited in the drive thru for over thirty minutes. There were only three other cars and the employees had all of us pull up in front of the restaurant and park so that they could bring our food out to us. After the thirty minutes of waiting, an employee finally started bringing our food out to the cars one at a time. When I eventually received my meal, I asked the employee why it had taken so long. She responded that they had to make "fresh fingers" and then ran back inside. When I got back home, five minutes away, my meal was cold, soggy, and definitely not fresh. Unimpressed. Menu has too many items to look at as they're rushing to take your order. The food wasn't as good as I was expecting based on the pictures on the menu. Zax sauce wasn't nearly as good as Cane's sauce. Drink area was dirty and sticky. Restrooms smelled horrible. read more

First time going to a Zaxby's. If you are looking for salty and oily food, this is the place for you. The flavor is ok and the fries are no better than your microwaved fries at home. The food is slightly overpriced for the quality but the service is reasonable. Overall, there are probably other fast food chains I would go to ahead of this place. read more

I like that they have good spicy sauces u can order, and in my opinion it is like a Canes but better,and more choices of chicken besides chicken tenders. LOVED the idea. HATED the execution. Everything there seems to be mass produced in a factory and then reheated/refried instead of being prepared fresh. The sauce tastes similar to canes but has a mild wang. The wings are much better at wing stop and Buffalo Wild Wings while the chicken fingers are better at Canes. indescribably BAD. I would not eat there again even if they paid me. I think it was one of the worst meals I have eaten in a while, I took my son and daughter in law along and no one finished their meal. We were extremely disappointed as the everything tasted overly processed and the quality of the chicken was just bad. I did not enjoy anything except the soda.
