I ordered through the app and I put on the one meal that I ordered twice so it's the same exact meal that is supposed to be too large Dr Pepper with no ice. We get to the window let them know. We have a mobile order and we get to the actual pick up window and the woman is like oh do you have one drink and I'm like no we have two so she hand us two drinks to complete different sizes to completely different types of drinks and then we try to get their attention again I'm blowing the horn beeping it at them waving them down. They're completely ignoring everybody in the freaking window altogether and we finally get their attention again. I give them the physical ticket is on the side of the bag that they use to complete the order that states to write on it, but it is two full meals with two large Dr Pepper with no ice and they still screw back up again give us two Dr Pepper's with ice and I'm like are those with no ice and she's like oh there's no ice and I'm like exactly it says right on the ticket no ice. I do not understand why I have over 30 years of customer service but I can't find a job but they hire people they cannot read a plane ticket that is in simple English that you cannot tell me did you even look at it is my order correct? read more

After reading the reviews, I was apprehensive to come to this location. Thankfully, my expectations were low and this location exceeded them. The dining room was clean and although the cashier wasn't the nicest, she wasn't rude either. I complemented on her beautiful nails and that seem to go along way. The man with this location is smaller and a different style. I think this location is quite a bit older than our location back home. The food was delicious and although I only received five small pieces of bacon on my Cobb salad, it was still great.. we had to come to after eating at Legoland and spending $50 on just a few tacos and waiting over an hour and 15 minutes for our food. My rating is primarily based on the last two visits (7454 Cypress Gardens Blvd, Winter Haven 33884), and the appalling employee interaction I received. The receipt says her name is JaZara R and she was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. She acted like it completely annoyed her when I asked which soda flavors Zaxby's had and irritated for taking a moment to look at the menu. I also asked, if the Zax sauce could be switched to a different dipping sauce, and she was upset her. Then I was handed my order without a word. The behavior she exhibited is exactly why I would choose a different restaurant. Why would anyone want to be treated so poorly for placing a simple order. I wanted to say at the window 'if you hate your job so bad, why don't you quit?' The first time she waited on me, I gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just having an 'off' day. But since her rude, unprofessional behavior happened again, I've decided to provide caution to those choosing this Zaxby's location. Having a bad attitude towards a customer speaks volumes. An employee doesn't have to say much to covey a feeling of disgust or irritation. It can be their silence when you ask a question, a blunt one word response, or in their tone. My advice is, if you don't enjoy engaging with customers, don't choose an occupation where that's the main focus. read more

Not bad!! I was iffy trying Zaxby's for the wings only because I cannot recall last time I ate here and the last time I ate here I had chicken strips. The drive thru was busy on a sunday. I ordered the 5 wings (flats) with the crinkle fries and toast with a drink it came out to $11 ish. They automatically give u a container of ranch sauce to dip your wings in. I requested a salad pack of blue cheese - They wanted 25 cents for it but ended up giving it for free. I had the mild buffalo sauce drip on my wings I requested flats and the intercom stated they cannot guarantee but will do their best to give me all flats. I ended up getting all 5 flats (no extra charge) - The wings were not bad for a fast food place. I will def come back here again and order the wings. read more

Zaxbys in winter haven is a disappointment to us. The store needs heavy cleaning especially The floors. A manager that can really manage would be appreciated. Sometimes I just want a good chicken finger and this place was calling me so off I went. Customer Service- The woman behind the counter reminded me of a Marine drill Sargent. No smile, tight lipped and all business. "Welcome to Zaxby's," hut. "What would you like?" hut, hut. "Your order number is 22." Hut. Hut, hut! I was so caught up in the experience that I found myself marching back to my table and sitting at attention while I waited. After about three minutes my Sargent keyed the PA system and blasted out, "Number 22 is reeeaddddy!" I couldn't help myself. I jumped up, shoulders back and chin up. I marched to the counter, saluted her and shouted, "Number 22 reporting as ordered mam, sir!" Two other employs chuckled. A lady waiting for her order laughed out loud. Not even a smirk from my drill Sargent. Just tight lipped and dead eyes. Food- I had the Chicken Finger Platter. The toast was crunchy and buttery. The Cole Slaw was crisp and not soupy. The Crinkle Cut fries were very good but slightly undercooked and the one slight flaw in the meal. You can see them in my pic. The fingers were the star of the show as they should be and the best I've had in many, many years. They were huge and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and piping hot. One of them was so big it was approaching the size of a small chicken breast! They came with Zaxby's Special Sauce and I ordered an extra Sweet & Spicy. Both were excellent on those wonderful fingers. Along with a 22 oz. soft drink my meal was $8 and change. It was a lot of very good food and I was pleased with the price point. So, I wish my drill Sergeant had smiled and my fries were a little crisper but I really enjoyed this place and I'll be back. read more

Any time friends or family come to town and are carnivores, I take them to Zaxbys. A while back my cousin came into town and was on a massive diet. I was like let's go to Zaxbys, they have amazing zalads! My cousins like nah I'm not a fan of fast food on diets. I was like just take my word and try this place... after much convincing I got him to join and wwe both ordered The Buffalo Blue Zalad. After the first bite he fell in love! This place is for the calorie watchers down to the sugar cravers. They have delicious milkshakes. If you ask them to heat the cookies or brownies up, they do it and the chocolate just melts and it's warm and gooey and just yummm. I usually like having dessert first, when it's warm and gooey lord help me... It just hit me, next time I need to try the milk shake with the heated cookies or brownies. Anyways I love Zaxby's Salads. I feel as tho they are the best salad out there with such convenience. I almost always order The Buffalo Blue and get a lite vinegar as the dresssing. I also ask for no toast when I'm watching calories. If you aren't watching calories, try the wings and things platter... it's delicious and honestly most people can't finish the food due to the large quantity of it. The service for this particular location is really good. They have the food out fast. The chicken is always hot and fresh and delicious. If you have a Zaxby's near you, check the place put! Get a salad or some chicken fingers. Try the fried mushrooms. Some locations I believe have fried pickles, try them!! I have only been to one other Zaxby's, and that was in another state. I will be comparing this location to that one. The Zaxby's restaurant in WH was alright. It wasn't too clean, but it wasn't filthy like the other location that I visited. The staff/employees could have been nicer. For both of these issues, I have taken away 1 star. At both locations, they all looked depressed and upset whenever you order something. I ordered the 5-piece Bone In Sweet and Spicy wings. They were EXCELLENT! Great flavor and great size. It really reminded me of a restaurant back in my home state called Roosters. It gave me a little piece of home while I am here on vacation. Now the bathrooms. HORRIBLE!! If you can, please try to use the restroom either before or after dining here. They were a mess. Toilet paper was all over the floor. The urinals looked like nobody had cleaned them in about a month or two. This is what took away the other star, making my review a 3-Star review. I would give this place 5 stars, but the two problems that I mentioned made me reconsider my rating. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves chicken, and/or good food in general. Zaxbys' food is always top notch, however this Zaxby's service usually isn't. 2 out of the last 4 times Ive gone recently they've forgotten part of my order. The first time I didn't call or say anything because I figured it was my fault for not checking my bag. Today I made sure to check my bag and saw part of my order missing so sat at the drive thru until they finally opened the window back up. When I got home I realized another part of my order was missing. Called, and the manager asked me to come back and get it and he would compensate my time with extra cookies. Guess what? 1st - the drive thru speaker SUCKS, management knows and don't care - ALL zaxby locations have an issue with whatever they use to mop the floor - no matter what shoe I'm wearing I stick to the floor - either the solution is not mixed correctly or they don't rinse very well - I don't like sticking to the floor and certainly don't want to take whatever that is into my car or home.. We stopped to get dinner after a day at Legoland. The food was fine, but the employees were among the least friendly and helpful I've ever seen. They were hanging over the counter, chatting with friends who weren't working, not acknowledging customers waiting to order, getting orders incorrect, and the restaurant had lots of dirty tables and trash lying on the floor. I keep giving this Zaxby's location another chance. Their service is so slow. More than once I had to wait for them to cook more chicken strips. But today tops them all. After waiting forever for them to cook more strips for my two Cobb salads, I get home to find there are no eggs on any of them. I called, all I got was a sorry. First off let me say I'm very disappointed in this Zaxby's today. We got there at 11:23am, so the store was just opening I presume. Well we went through the drive-thru and ordered our meals, I ordered a Club sandwich meal and I was looking for something for my grandmother and couldn't see what I was looking for. So I asked if the item was still available or if they removed the item, I didn't get a forward answer. Then it seemed like every question I did ask bothered her so I just ordered the big zax snack meal for my grandmother, paid and left. Well like I said they had just opened, we drove away because we had an appointment to get to in about 20 mins. Well the food was disgusting! The chicken on my sandwich wasn't fresh, the fries weren't seasoned(not even with salt), and the same goes for my grandmother's food! Now I spent $15 on two meals that we ended up throwing away, so yes I'm disappointed and probably won't be returning. They close at 10, I got there at 9:52 and they still had all the lights on and when I pulled up to the drive Thur, they played their welcome message that tell me to order and when I started with my order, someone came on the intercom telling me that they was closed and had someone in the background laughing saying how they got me and when I asked why they led me to believe they was open, instead of getting a answer they cut all the lights off including the drive Thur lights. Stopped in here about a month ago, past the dinner hour. Ordered the chicken salad. When called to pick up my order, I noticed the bowl was not too clean looking as I walked it back to my table. I looked closer at the bowl and it showed greasy finger marks all over the rim, and even on the area underneath the bowl.
