We never really go inside unless we miss something. The outside looks nice though and clean. Drive thru menu is pretty clean and clear to read which really helps if we wanna try something new. I am reviewing based on the drive-thru experience. I visited around 5pm one evening and I was the only one in the drive-thru. I was greeted right away when I pulled up to the speaker. I ordered a salad and was helped right away at the window to pay and got my food quickly. The girl assisting the window was very sweet and made for a great drive-thru experience. I ordered the Cobb Zalad. It has eggs, bacon, crispy chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, fried onions, cheese, carrots, red cabbage, and lettuce. I got the honey mustard dressing which was so good. I appreciated they provided 2 packets of dressing. The salad also comes with Texas toast. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot for the cobb salad I was craving. The service was great. Holy crap! Who knew a Zaxby's could be so nice? This one in "Winter Park" (not really, but Ok) really blew my yellow "cardinal health" socks off. Maybe it's because I was eating hospital food for 2 days, but they delivered delicious food, quickly, and in a pleasant environment. What more could you want in a counter-service restaurant. There's something AMAZING that happened while dining. I've been eating fast food (or fast casual) for a long time, and in general, food. I bit into one of the chicken fingers and it squirted a spray of chicken juice onto the floor. Luckily, I was turned sideways for some reason or Mrs. S would have gotten the brunt of that. I arrived within 30 minutes of them opening. The soda machine was sputtering and stopped after about 5 seconds- regardless of the drink you chose. I let one of the workers know and he came out to check but since the levels looked okay, he said he didn't know. Even after showing him the problem, nothing was done. Came here for the salad for lunch because my fiancé has been RAVING about how good it is and how worth it the portion is. I definitely have to agree! This salad was twice the side of CFA salad and the CFA salad is usually $12 with a drink, this was like $9. I decided on the honey mustard dressing and it had great flavor as well. The difference between the house salad and Cobb salad is with our without bacon so OF COURSE, I went with bacon. We stopped by this location at 10:45am on our way to the airport. I have a picky eater, however we find common ground with chicken and decided to stop. With one car in the parking lot and an empty dining room, we thought this would be a quick lunch. Not quite. The beverage machine in the lobby was out of service and a sign posted to the machine "apologized for the inconvenience. " We ordered a meal and a salad with an added beverage and were told only water or sweet tea were available. We asked if we could have a fountain drink from the machine behind the counter and were told for dine in, only water and tea were available. We are not fans of sweet tea, so we paid for two drinks and got water. The meals were fine. Nothing to write home about. They took a while to put together, however the steady stream of Uber Eats drivers had no issue getting their meals quickly. The restaurant was tidy however the bathroom was a disaster. Odd, since the place was only open for 15 minutes. And an employee was exiting it as we were stepping in to wash our hands. I would have thought she'd take a minute and clean up the paper all over the floor. Zaxby's is a fine enough place to stop for a quick bite. While the food is good, this location is really only good for drive thru. They rarely actually open on time (hours state 1030 but for example this latest time they didn't actually open doors until after 11 even with people waiting outside trying to open the doors and wondering what was going on). Call ahead/pickup don't bother waiting in the designated parking, you're better off placing the order then actually entering lobby (again, when it's open) to let them know. You'll call the number and they'll let you know they're preparing but it's rare it actually is brought out in the time frame. You usually have to go inside to actually show them you're there and then they make it (kind of the out of sight out of mind mentality it seems). So after being told by some people to check the Zaxby's chicken sandwich vs. the Popeyes/Chic Fil A etc. in the chicken wars...we finally found a time/place that it made sense. We ordered their standard chicken sandwich, a "kickin chicken" sandwich, and some fried mushrooms. The fried mushrooms were really good and they came with the "zax sauce" for dipping. Really enjoyed them and will definitely get them again. The kickin chicken sandwich was only alright. The "Tongue Torch" sauce was not very hot, the ranch was kind of bland, and the rest was chicken tenders on Texas toast. I wouldn't order that sandwich again. The regular chicken sandwich was good. I stopped into Zaxby's for lunch because I had a free sandwich via their Zaxby app. I have never used the Zaxby restaurant app since I don't go to Zaxby's that often. So when I was ready to order I asked if anyone knew how to work the app so I could get my free signature chicken sandwich . The store manager who is named Victor was able to explain how the app works and it was really simple process. Victor had really great customer service skills and he was really nice guy who knew his stuff. I have never been in this Zaxby's before and I really liked the decor it look very fancy. When I told Victor that I thought the decor was pretty lit, he went on to tell me that Zaxby's was going with a all new look @ their restaurants. He said after they remolded the store they filmed some new commercials with some actors in their restaurant that was going to be feature on TV. Which I thought was pretty cool. The signature chicken sandwich I had was so freaking delicious and so very tasty. I also had a signature flavor of Sprite that you can only find @ a Zaxby's which was called Zaxby's Fruity Fizzy Punch made with Sprite. In closing this particular Zaxby's was on point with everything thing they did which included great customer service from their manager Victor and all their employees. Frustrating location. It's the closest one to me. 9/10 times the order is wrong. I order ahead. Today I got a 6 piece tender like usual. Only half the fries. I had said double fries. Nope. Only got half. Not even fully cooked and unsalted. Supposed to be nuclear sauce but was something tangy and sweet. I said no toast but there was toast. This location is almost always wrong. It's just frustrating. Being the only nearby location is the only thing they have going for them because the food and service is a hot mess. When it's done right it's great. It'll be 20 minutes" and then abruptly hung up the phone. I then called after the 20 minutes as I waited in the car with a young child and the lady answering the phone was extremely rude and uncaring about the fact that they were 20 minutes behind. I first tried Zaxby's years ago on a trip to Georgia. We enjoyed this inexpensive chain so much that we ended up eating at different locations a few times during the trip. We don't have any by us in South Florida although I have seen one in Lake Worth. I was trying to find a quick meal for dinner before dropping my daughter off at the airport and I was pleasantly surprised to find this Zaxby's located less than a mile from her new apartment. The restaurant is very clean and decorated in a cute way with light up signs. I guess it's a fairly new location and there was a sign posted on the door that it would be closed one evening this month for a commercial film shoot. I went with my favorite house salad with fried chicken and honey mustard dressing. My daughter had a chicken tenders combo meal with barbecue sauce, fries, and coleslaw. Both meals included their Texas toast which is buttery carbohydrate heaven. My salad was so huge that I couldn't even finish the last bites. They have a Coke freestyle machine but we both went with sweet tea. Dessert options include cookies and brownies. Dinner for the two of us was $20. If you need a quick dinner this is one of the better fast food options. read more

For $8.19, there was a great, hearty sandwich with fresh tomatoes and lettuce and a nice soft bun. In addition to that, crinkle fries included. The location is brand new - opened sometime in 2017. It's clean. Plenty of seating. Cute decor. No complaints. Where it starts to let me down is the whole counter experience. You (and everyone else who needs to order food) go up to the counter and wait around for someone to ask you what you want. There's no formal line... just standing around in a crowd of people. You order and then you have to come back up to the counter to grab your tray of things. The menu is very confusing. Everything appears to be a meal, which may be some people's cup of tea, but not mine. I don't need slaw or Texas toast or anything like that. The employees didn't seem to understand that either. I just wanted the boneless wings by themselves... and wound up with wings and fries and a drink. I'm not sure if it's always like this either, but we had to wait a long time for our food. We didn't order anything crazy... just wings and tenders. Everyone in our party got our food except one person, who wound up waiting almost 15 minutes more than the rest of us. The staff did compensate with a coupon for free tenders. Greatly appreciated. The food itself was good. Wings and tenders are well... wings and tenders. Pretty even across the board. Crinkle fries were crispy and yummy. Texas toast wasn't my favorite... pretty plain and dry. I can't say I'll be back. First! I'm going to start this location off with 4 stars but judging by tonight's experience, I'm guessing it won't be long before they dip down closer to 3. This location is brand new, so I thought I'd stop in and check out the new digs. The floor plan is very similar to most new zaxby's I've been to but there is the undesirable bottle necking that occurs as you get to the registers. With a lot of traffic in the front from pick up orders, to the order line, to the drink bar it just feels to crowded. The floor plan was not thought out very well. I waited for my order and kept having to move because I was in someone's way. I will say that so far everything is clean, the food was good and they have one of those million in one soda dispenser that all chains seam to be adding to their stores. Also there is plenty of seating once you get away from the bottle necked counter. Try this place out and welcome them to the area. read more

I went here for lunch break. The food was hot and fresh. Everything came out the way I ordered it. The person that took my order was friendly. The inside of the restaurant floor was slippery. It was like a layer of grease was on the floor because nobody was mopping. The men's bathroom was probably one of the worst I had been in. Very nasty.
