So I was in a pinch this past Saturday and completely forgot in the madness of life that I needed my nails done for a wedding...the same day. I popped in here around 1:15 PM on a Saturday and there was no one in the shop which based on my previous review is not shocking. The shop still looks the same honestly. Very much in need of an upgrade. But I was DESPERATE as I had a wedding I needed to attend at 4 PM. When I walked in they asked how they could help me and then asked me to wait which I found strange because there was 3 of them and only one of me, but no biggie. The wait was less than 5 mins. The guy who did my nails did a decent job. I don't absolutely love them but I also wasn't pissed with the quality as I've been in the past. He did coffin shape nails which is not what I asked for but by the time he started shaping and I noticed it was too late. They didn't come out bad but their attention to detail and inability to LISTEN to their customers is so frustrating. I'm glad they were able to take care of me in a bind and a nail hasn't broken yet, but I still strongly believe they need to take more pride in their business. read more

I walked in and was helped right away which was good and bad because most nail shops are busy on a Saturday. This should've been my first indication that the service might be shotty! The manicure bowl that was used was not a traditional manicure bowl so my hand was awkwardly placed and the water was lukewarm at best. The man proceeded to clean up my nails and I asked for a pink color. I only chose this polish because it was Essie brand. Needless to say, I won't be back after this simple manicure job. I will NEVER come back here. I came here because my usual nail salon was packed. I got a mani pedi. I had a gel manicure and wanted another one done. He didn't wrap my fingers in foil, like it's been done everywhere I have ever been. He gave me a bowl of acetone and told me to soak my fingers in there while he did my pedicure. I felt like my pedicure was rushed. My manicure was a mess. I have never gotten a gel manicure done like this. It's so bad, that tomorrow, I'll be going to my regular salon for them to just completely redo. Please see pictures. The people are nice here however, they rush through everything and try to get you to do the more expensive service in everything. I will not be returning here. My daughter and I are from out of town and wanted pedicures. We were able to walk right in and be served! The technicians were so sweet and the pedicure was fabulous! I have been a customer at Zaza Nails for years, at least 4+. They know me by name. On September 8, 2018 I went to Zaza's get my mani/pedi as usually but this time because I was going on vacation the next day I decided to try something new, dip powder. I wanted chic black matte. Big mistake. The powder would not stay on my natural nails. They did not have enough of the matte polish/primer. Everytime The tech would try to buff my nails, the polish would come off.  The tech tried numerous times. When she finished about 2 and 1/2 hours later it was a mess. I told Zaza the owner I was not happy. I told her more than several times. Nothing was done. No discount, no nothing. When I got home I text'd her pictures and told her again I wasn't happy. She said come back but by then I had other things to do to be ready for my flight. Fast forward two weeks. I came back to give give her an opportunity to make things right. Zaza asked me what happened and why I didn't come back. I told her I did not have time. I asked her if she was going to give me a discount. She didn't answer. After my services as I am ready to pay, the cost is usually 51 with waving my eyebrows. This time it was 50. A 1.00 discount. I guess they have so many customers loyalty means nothing. The place was clean and staff was not rude. However, it took over an hour just to do a regular pedicure. They left me 20 minutes in the chair with my feet soaked before they started working on me. (counted by a clock since I was in my lunch hour). I had to tell the lady more than 3 times to keep on cutting my nails because it was ingrown and she didn't want to do it. DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. EVER. They fuck up your nails and they're reqlly rude when you speak up. I complained about not getting the same color on my feet and hands and the lady just put 2 different colors on my hands ON TOP of the other one. I turned out with my hands looking bulky and ugly, she didn't know how to file my nails either. and they were annoyed when I complained about this. I went into this nail salon for a gel refill with gel polish and change the polish on my toes. I've come to here on several other visits so I know not to come for my pedicure. That was established some ago. This would be the last time I come here for anything. The Tech named "Nancy" did my toes and nails. Both of which is a mess. First, she attempted to just refill (cover up) a nail which is beginning to show fungus on top of the nail and beneath the gel. Instead of removing the old gel, she began refilling the nail without acknowledging the problem. Didn't even say anything about it. When I brought it to her attention, she just brush me off, speaking in her native language (which we know isn't English) and proceeded with the procedure. I stopped her and showed the manager. After he spoke to her (in their native language), she began to remove the gel (only the part covering the fungus), filed away some of the fungus and reapplied gel. The gel was unevenly applied. The polish was applied worst than the gel. There was polish under several nails. The nail looked deformed from the way the gel was applied. She removed my hand from the uv dryer and began to oil the cuticles and my nails weren't dry. So, we had to re-do the polish and it just worsen each time she had to correct her mess. I was running out of time and gave up. I paid and showed The mockery to the manager on my way out. It was so bad, he offered to refill my nails when I have time to return. HORRIBLE! All they want is your money...they DO NOT care about how your nails come out! If you don't like your nails, they will not correct them and will give you attitude! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and visited them more than once but EVERYTIME I go they mess my nails up! I also witnessed them putting thinner in the gel polish which caused my nails to bubble up, the polish ran, and it came out a dull matte color instead of shiny.
