Replacement drain elbow in place
Jason K.

Found Peter @ Zazzara Plumbing off Craigslist. Texted my issue and sent pictures, he replied within minutes. Most plumbers ball park the estimate since they are not on-site or either will need to come on-site before providing. I had full access to my leaking pipe drain and Peter was willing to facetime, so he was able to provide a more accurate estimate. In fact, I think facetime was just as good as him being on-site, because I was able to reach in the wall and give him up close images of the slow leak. Peter arrived on-time the following business day, repaired the leaking drain, and his estimate was spot on (no up charges). I will contact him on my next plumbing issue.

Deep scratch on a 2 week old washer.

There are four things that that you should be aware of when calling Peter Zazzara for the job. I had called him to install the pedestals on the washer and dryer and then fix up the water lines. 1. He will not care for the customer's property. He scratched my washer, scratched my the travertine floor, and also broke one of the 4 stands of the pedestal on the washer. At the end, he just commented that "don't worry" no one is going to see that. 2. He will be cussing through the job. It almost seemed like he was being forced to do the job, instead of completing the work and making customers happy. If you have children in the house, make sure they are not around. He is loud when he is cussing. 3. He does not give you a receipt. You do not have any recourse if the job fails. 4. He will ask for more money after completing the job. I already gave him 25% more than what was originally quoted. He demanded for 20% over the amount that I have him. He was not professional at all. I have a high tolerance for mishaps during contracting working. However, his attitude was out of line and something that no one should deal with when you are paying someone to do a job. I would not recommend him for any job.

Tommy & Zefa are the only ones who apprently dealt with the same Peter that I had come over today to replace a water valve and 2 hose bibs. Honestly the positive reviews don't sound like the same person and they aren't very recent. I regret that I didn't check Yelp reviews before hiring him. This guy was beyond unprofessional. As a real estate broker I've dealt with many contractors and none have been so negative and abrasive as working with Peter. I am usually open to dealing with someone who may be a bit off putting initially or socially abrasive in hopes that they are a quality craftsman but in the case of Peter Zazzara you get the worst of both worlds. He was initially a bit condescending over the phone about my repair needs I decided to proceed since he said he would do the job the same day (should have just used my local plumber McKeown). I sent him photos and we discussed the cost of the job and he gave a rough estimate of $250 subject to change. I figured that was OK as I realize its difficult to quote a job over the phone but at least had a ballpark. Prior to his arrival I turned off the water to the house and ran the faucets in the home so there would be less water flow going to the main valve allowing him to work in a more timely fashion. Prior to his arrival he called stating he couldn't locate the property and proceeded to cuss & complain to me over the phone about not being able to find the house as if it was my fault (Google Maps much?) As I stood out in the middle of the road to help him find the house he decided to drive the wrong way on a 1 way street to get to the house rather than go around the block. I continued to help him in anyway I could to get the job done and after about 10 mins he said the job would cost $350 plus $75 in parts $425 total. OK I reluctantly though but his bitching and moaning only continued. He worked in a very rushed manor which is a bit disconcerting. It's not a race, you want to know that care is being taken to assure the job is done correctly. Peter is completely unaware of how this comes across to a customer. Everything was an annoyance and an inconvenience to him yet I still made myself available to help him. Then he apparently forgot a part he needed to complete the job. My wife was out at the store and I offered to have her pick up the part at the nearby hardware store but Peter insisted he could figure out a way to make it work. As he attempted to weld the pipe fitting he need help so I held a piece of metal as he attempted to blowtorch a seal on the valve. I kinda felt like I was acting as an apprentice at that point but I'm usually happy to help. Turns out his "fix" wasnt working and water was still leaking from the main valve. Unfortunately by this time my wife was back from her errand. I told him there was a hardware store about a mile away but rather than get the part he needed he said he would figure it out...super reassuring. Huffing and puffing Peter then apparently found a part in his truck that would "work" but wanted to charge an extra $10 for this "found" part. Not the part he asked for but one that would work. That was it for me. He is super proud of using only American parts which I am supportive of but his demeanor and professionalism doesn't match the quality product he purports to use. Funny to read he rents tools from Home Depot as he told me he doesn't mess with *stuff* from there. TLDR: Don't use this guy. Left a total mess after the job. Cusses throughout the job. Charges more during the job. Makes you feel bad for hiring him. Lesson learned.

Their pricing was very transparent, and Jon and Victor also did an amazing job explaining everything they were doing! When they were doing drain snaking, they also provided useful advice on preventative maintenance! Overall, our experience with Done-Rite Plumbing was very satisfactory compared to various other plumbers that we have hired in the past. I highly recommend Done-Rite Plumbing.

After calling several other companies in the area, I found their pricing to be competitive. At the time of writing, they charged $850 to hydrojet both the main line and kitchen line. I also appreciated how fair they were with pricing. They realized that upon arrival the kitchen line clean out was inside the house, and noted that this would normally cost more due to the additional setup and cleaning involved. Despite this, they honored the original quote and did not increase the price. Our technicians, Logan and Bradley, were professional, respectful of our home, and careful not to damage anything or leave a mess while efficiently completing the job. What also stood out was the honesty. There were no high-pressure sales tactics or attempts to upsell additional work. Instead, Logan gave us a straightforward assessment of what to watch for in the future and walked us through potential options and their ballpark costs. This was a stark contrast to another plumbing company I had used previously, which told me I needed to replace the entire main line. Logan showed me the camera footage and confirmed the main line was actually in good condition and that he did not anticipate any significant work needed. Their honesty, professionalism, fair pricing, and respect for our home were much appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services.

The Water Heater Company did an excellent job replacing our 20-year-old water heater. One thing I…read morereally appreciate about this company is that they take the time to thoroughly inspect the issue, clearly explain what's going on, and provide multiple options without any pressure. Our technician, Erik Z., was punctual, professional, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. After completing his initial inspection, he called me to explain the situation in detail, walked me through my options, and let me choose the solution that best fit my needs and budget. I never felt pressured to purchase additional services, and he was honest and informative throughout the entire process. Once the installation was complete, Erik followed up with me and provided a comprehensive home analysis report, diagnosis report, after-installation photos, and the invoice. The entire experience was smooth, organized, and efficient from start to finish. This is the second property where I've used The Water Heater Company, and both experiences have been outstanding. Scheduling an appointment is always quick and easy, and every technician I've worked with has been friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend The Water Heater Company to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and high-quality service.

Daniel installed my new water heater today, and I couldn't be happier with the service. He was extremely thorough and never rushed the job. While replacing some valves, he discovered another leak from an old section of pipe and quickly identified the issue. He replaced the faulty pipe at no additional charge, which I greatly appreciated. Daniel was polite, professional, and patiently answered all of my questions, taking the time to explain everything clearly. He was also very careful while working, making sure to protect my walls and surrounding area when using a torch to solder the pipes. He kept the work area clean and showed great attention to detail throughout the installation. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work Daniel and Zach provided. Their professionalism, honesty, and quality workmanship made this a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a water heater installation.

I've always done most of the repairs around my home but some jobs have significantly more risk than reward, such as replacing a toilet wax ring (in which I was certain I would botch if attempting on my own). JBL had recent positive reviews and also immediately responded to my request for a quote through Yelp (and he shared possible additional costs for issues that he may encounter). His pricing was very reasonable, and we were able to book an appointment on the same week. After receiving service and seeing his workmanship, I can definitely recommend his service to those looking for a plumber! He helped replaced two toilet wax rings and ensured that I was able to see the progress of the repairs, such as showing the broken wax rings, which is a level of transparency that I can truly appreciate. One of the toilets even had roots growing around the flange but I wasn't charged extra because he shared it was not too challenging to remove. Will definitely contact Jeremy again for my plumbing needs due to his great service, easy communication, and reasonable prices.

Awful, awful, awful experience with Fast Water Heater Company…read more My Home Depot-purchased Rheem water heater failed while it was still under warranty. My warranty covered the replacement water heater but not the labor. I called Home Depot and they forwarded me to Fast Water Heater Company who insisted on cutting Home Depot out of the loop and installing a water heater from their supply rather than taking mine back to Home Depot. Even though I called at 1pm, they couldn't send someone until the next day. Over the phone, they quoted me: $859 for installation $153 for the permit $49 for a "disposal fee" (which they wouldn't need if they went through home depot) When their two installers arrived, they tried to upsell me $3500 worth of unnecessary and inflated charges. - They tried to sell me a $20 pan for $72 (not optional). - They would charge $160 for rolling the water heater on a hand-cart from their truck on the street to my ground floor water heater closet (no stairs, no lifting, not optional). - They tried to sell me a $35 expansion tank for $350 (optional, but they tried to scare me into thinking it wasn't. I later chatted with my engineer neighbor who said it was completely unnecessary). $859 for 2 hours of work is already an absurd hourly rate, and they're at least tripling the cost of every "not optional" add on. They ultimately quoted me over $2000 for all their "non-optional" up-charged add-ons, and I refused. I called around and found another installer who did the work for $950, including pans, hoses, and a trip to-and-from Home Depot. This company is taking advantage of people's trust in Home Depot and they should honestly be ashamed of themselves.
