He was quick to arrive, asked a few questions about what outlets were working and which ones were not working. He said he had seen this before and quickly went to work on the outlet that the contractor had plugged an air compressor into when he was working. The vibration from the compressor had loosened the wires in the back of the outlet causing all of the outlets downstream of the problem outlet to stop working (due to being wired in series).
