I came here for a puzzled pint and unlike the ones in Seattle, this one was at a place that primarily serves food! Very exciting. They have customer parking underneath, across from the QFC. Overall they were really friendly in inviting us in, bringing water, and letting us use the space for puzzles. For me specifically, they ...kind of dropped the ball on all of it. One person told me she'd bring me a menu once I was seated, but proceeded to pass me by when handing out menus (maybe because I already had water? Unclear. I tried to flag her down but she either didn't see me or ignored me). When I got up to ask about it, a different person just looked expectantly for me to order. When I told her I hadn't received a menu yet, she just gestured at the to go menu on the counter. When the pizza came, there were no napkins or utensils or anything given to me either. Throughout the whole hour and a half I was there, no one so much asked how I was doing despite that seeming to be standard for all the parties around me (including another one with only one person, so it wasn't because I was a Singleton working on puzzles!). The pizza I got was the aggressive mushroom one, which was great on mushrooms but oddly overly sweet, so I probably wouldn't get it again. The texture of the pizza was great though. Overall, the place was nice for puzzles and the food was good (just not what I expected for my order, but that's not really their fault). It was just a really weird night of service of feeling like they were snubbing me for no reason. It would be different if that's how they treated everyone or at least everyone who was puzzling solo, but the other person at my same table who was working solo got much better and nicer service than I did. :/ read more

This used to be a weekly go to for us when our kids were young, maybe 15 years ago in DT Kirkland on Park Lane. From the dough window to our favorite waitress "Ariel", IYKYK! Unfortunately it has gone downhill. They remodeled a while back, eliminating the popular dough window for a bar, which admittedly has potential. However, I rarely see anyone sitting at it, and I wonder how many hard liquor drinks are served at a pizzeria. Last 2x we were there they were out of the white wine I like and the Coke was very off, something clearly wasn't mixing correctly. The server on the floor did not even acknowledge us when we came in, as we were entering, she was tossing an empty pizza box near another guest. We stood at the front desk, waiting to be acknowledged until my husband asked if we see ourselves or Weat to be seated she briefly just looked up and said "yah" as if we were bothering her. As we walked to a selected table, we noticed tables around us. We're not clean had crumbs and parts of food. As we start waiting at the table for about 10 minutes or so, she finally came by and just put menus on our table still not looking up in the eye still not greeting us just placed the menus on the table as she walked by without saying a word. Great pizza, but after the way my and my family been treated I'll have to think twice on whether I'll be coming back anytime soon. Me and my mom ordered a pizza online, but when we arrived only one pizza was there to pick up. My mom talked to the person at the register and she said that the order only had that one pizza, despite the total order being over 100 dollars (one medium sized pizza is around 40$ with tax). She pulled up the receipt but the person at the register stood firm on the fact that's all the order said. So in the end we had to pay 20 extra dollars for my 9 inch pizza, no refund, no discount, and no sympathy from the lady there. Even worse when I opened up my pizza I found it was burnt at the edges and bottom which sucked after everything that happened. We've been to Zeeks several times in the past year and have had no issue with the online ordering system, the staff though had been noticeably less caring after each visit, especially during this one where she kept looking at us like we were a nuisance for wanting our full order. In the end I just genuinely hope that either their website is fixed (if that is the issue) and the staff do not cause any similar issues to other customers. Didn't want to go out for NYE, so decided to order pizza and breadsticks from a local pizza joint that we could bunch on while we waited for the strike of midnight on the West Coast. Zeeks Pizza is a popular chain around the Seattle area, founded in 1993 by two friends, who wanted to bring quality pizza to Seattle. My daughter found some deals on-line to bring the regular price down, and they had the concept of spicy Calabrian pizza that we wanted to try, so chose Zeeks to do so. One can order via the delivery apps but it was easiest to order from their website directly. We got a large Spicy Calabrian - Spicy Kahuna ($36.69 reduced to $22.25) and buffalo sticks ($16 for reduced to $9.75). Delivery fee was $6.60 and with tax and tip, total came to about $50. The pizza took a while to deliver (ended up adding 30 minutes to initial delivery time). It was lukewarm when we got it. The buffalo sticks were not good...it was just a small size pizza that had a chopped buffalo chicken mixture on top. The whole thing was extremely dry and the accompanying blue cheese dressing couldn't save it. Wish the crust was more fluffy, but instead was extremely dense and dry....almost like a cracker crust unintentionally. The pizza itself was OK, with the crust being average and forgettable. There was plenty of cheese, canned pineapple, crumbled bacon, and Canadian bacon (though not consistently throughout). But we badly underestimated the spicy calabrian sauce...it is basically the regular pizza sauce with a ton of crushed red pepper (not sure if already mixed in prehand to control the hotness, but rather guessing that it is added on top of the sauce once applied...and you can easily add too much). You can see easily see all the peppers flakes in the sauce....and I don't think they are consistent in the application of the flakes...this seemed way overdone. Much better to apply it yourself, to control the amount (since most places gives you packets of parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if asked. The initial bites were OK, but the spiciness took too much away. Imagine taking one slice of a large pizza, and adding the contents of one hot pepper pack to it...that's how much hot pepper was on it. They are generous with their toppings, and the delivery driver was considerate and friendly, considering it was a holiday. And I agree that a review for delivery is different than dining-in...this would have been a strong 2 if dining-in. But it doesn't change the situation: we forcefully ate a quarter of the pizza and the rest is going to waste...considered making single servings that could be frozen, but no point if not going to be eaten later. read more

This pizza spot is good for groups and is an easy walk from Bellevue Square and downtown hotels. My family stopped in here for dinner this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the pizza. They had interesting and unique options for pizza along with the usual toppings. The sauce was flavorful, the toppings were plentiful and of quality, and the crust was delicious. We had the Puget Pounder, and the Legion of Shroom, as well as a cheese pizza for the kids. They were all super delicious. The prices are pretty high for pizza but that is to be expected in Bellevue. Beer was also pretty spendy at 28.00 for a pitcher of beer. Service was very friendly but it took about 50 minutes for us to get our pizzas. read more

I decided to eat here with my family because my daughter's preschool is right next to it. I am very very picky about food in general and especially when it comes to pizza. I have tried many different pizza places and most of those places was just ok. However I really like the pizza here. First of all, the dough is thin and crispy but not too crispy to the point of being burnt on the button. It is also not chewy. This places is usually not full at all, except during holidays when the snow lane is happening around 7 PM, which families with kids come to eat before watching the snow lane. It happens the last time we were here so the place was packed. My husband asked for a pizza with lots of meat ( I can't remember the name) and I asked for the margarita but without the feta cheese and onions. I like my margarita pizza the traditional way: only tomatoes and basil for toppings. We both loved the pizza but the first time we came here each of us ordered a medium pizza and it was way too much. The next time we came we ordered half and half and it was just enough since we don't eat a lot. Staff was super friendly. They did not have anything for kids to draw and the waiter took extra time to draw some cute pictures for my daughter. I always have crayons in my purse so it works a perfectly. The reason I am giving four stars is because the last time we came here the pizza had very little cheese which was disappointing. Zeeks was exactly what we were looking for! Greeted with a smile and shown to our table immediately. We started with original bread sticks that I highly recommend. They came out crispy and hot served with marinara and a delicious ranch dressing. The pizza I ate had everything you could ask for. The toppings tasted fresh, the cheese what hot and gooey and the crust had the perfect mixture of crunchy and chewy. Since we know what we want, our order history is readily available and takes only a minute to order and the estimated time of when it's ready is always spot on! Upon a glance all the vegetables and meats are piled high on a delicious crust. I have been to to the other Zeek's locations in both Redmond and Kirkland several times where both the Pizza and the service were great. However, this did not apply to this place and I can see the low rating they got by Yelp members. The restaurant was understaffed which was easy to tell when we first walked in. We did not get the right order, we ordered a Cheese Pizza with Jalapenos and goat cheese on half only, and we got a large pizza instead, half with Jalapenos and half with goat cheese...?? We did not want to make any issue out of this mistake there due to lack of staff but the worst part was the Pizza which was burned at the bottom. It was so bad that you cant even cut thought it with a knife. This is a poorly managed Zeek's location and I will not be back to this location again. We are from out of state & decided to check out Zeek's. The waitress explained to us they were short staffed at that time & would seat us as soon as she could clear a table for 4. (No worries). She seated us in about 5-10 minutes. She was very apologetic about the wait but we were fine. It wasn't a ridiculously long wait. We ordered the John Candy, cheesy breadsticks & a large Caesar salad. They only do one crust size. (I prefer thin crust). Their crust was good! Not thick & bread-like at all. The ingredients tasted great & fresh with quality. The croutons in the Caesar were garlicky. OMG! Fantastic taste!! The breadsticks were buttery & cheesy & worth the calories. LOL I wasn't a fan of the brand of soda but whatever. The ice tea was good.
