My biggest gripe was that the live music was too loud. I am used to loud music in the background, but this felt louder than normal--all of my friends were complaining about it. This obviously made it difficult to talk with others. It might not be as loud when there is not live music. The food and drinks were okay. It is bar food with a Bavarian twist. Our servers were nice and periodically checked in to refill our drinks. I'm not sure if I would go here again if I was in town, but this would be a fun spot for some.

I ended up eating around the middle of the burger in order to avoid any wood that might have been left inside it. Please do not use these items inside the food as they are not well made. Instead of enjoying the food I ended up being paranoid about what foreign object might have been left inside it.

Now, we can enjoy those crispy, kitty-themed BC beers without the long drive north. The setting is lovely, too. They have a HUGE outdoor deck, right on the waterway, which is just about the perfect spot to spend a warm summer afternoon. I also got to visit recently, on a cold, bitter, grey January day, and the beer was just as good enjoyed indoors in their colorful tap room. Can't wait for more great days at Beach Cat as the weather starts to warm up and the sun (rumor has it) decides to come out even more.

They seemed completely uninterested in their job and made it seem like I was burdening them by ordering food. I ended up not ordering anything. The person at the bar was nice, and I did not have any issues with them. Perhaps it was an off night for the one staff member, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Despite my encounter, I liked the bar. Everyone in my group tried different beers and we all enjoyed them very much! I particularly liked the Edel, although Fvzz was delicious too!

Our server answered our many questions about drinks and food. Overall, I recommend Ono Kitchen and Bar, especially for the dance lessons and for grabbing a few drinks and bites afterward.

I don't mind paying more for better quality, but this pizza was expensive and just not very good. I could have gotten equal quality pizza from fast food pizza chain, but at least then it would have been worth the price. On top of it not being worth the price the service was extremely slow. It took us about an hour an a half to receive 1 pizza. Save yourself some time and money and eat at one of the many other pizza places in town. read more

First off, the service has been great both times. Everyone is kind, friendly, and efficient. It's been busy each time we visited, but pizzas still came out in about 15-20 minutes, which feels completely reasonable for a quality pizza spot. The second time we ordered takeout and it was ready in about 10 minutes, which was awesome. One thing I really appreciate is that you can order a medium pizza with two different halves. That's perfect when you're trying a new place and want to sample more than one style. We tried a few different things: * The Rossa pizza (small to-go) - This was my personal favorite. As an East Coast girl, I'm always searching for a good tomato pie and this scratched that itch. I ordered a small, took some home, and honestly... it was amazing cold the next day. If you know, you know. Next time I might ask for a little less garlic and extra sauce, but overall it was fantastic. * POTATO GORGONZOLA & FENNEL SAUSAGE - I'm a sucker for potatoes on pizza. This one leaned a little sweeter than I expected, but still really interesting and worth trying. The rosemary on it was top notch. * Cheesy SQ Pie - My husband ordered this. It wasn't his absolute favorite style, but it was still a really solid rendition of deep dish and definitely worth trying if you like that style. * "Big Kid" cheese pizza - You really can't go wrong here. Simple, classic, and done well. Husband said the sauce is a smidge more tangy than he would like but it's a dang good slice. But the true star discovery? You can buy a pint of their homemade ranch dressing. Yes. A pint. It's $9 and lasts about a week in the fridge and honestly... it might ruin all other ranch for you. There is nothing worse than bad ranch with good pizza, and this stuff is legit homemade and dangerously good. Some people might think buying a pint of ranch with pizza is a little unhinged. I personally think it's a brilliant life decision. All in all, Fiamma has become a must-stop whenever we're in Bellingham. Great pizza, great service, quick turnaround, and the kind of place you start craving the second you leave. 10/10 will be coming here again!

Their pizzas are a 12 inch size, which is a bit larger than one person needs, but which was so good, I didn't want to waste any of it. I had the Mediterranean Pizza, a vegetarian option, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Finally, I sampled a couple of their brews, and enjoyed all of them. I settled on the Helles Lager, which might just be the best craft brewery lager I have ever had, and their Light Catcher IPA, one of their most popular brews. Nicely balanced , perfectly hopped, this is a brew West Coast IPA fans should make a point to sample.
