This car dealership and their Mobile Grooming partner, Wag N Tails is a scam. They sold me a used mobile grooming vehicle with a bad engine. I live in Virginia Beach, VA and flew 800 miles with my 4 year old daughter to buy this vehicle. They sent me all documents for financing via UPS express mail and required me to sign the "AS IS" form before I came to look at and buy the vehicle. You have to sign the "AS IS" form before you get there or else they won't do the financing for you. They kind of put you in a catch 22 position which is unfair. I had this vehicle 103 days total and only worked out if it 68 days when the engine blew up. The first day I worked in it the check engine light came on but the engine still seemed ok. I was told maybe I got bad gas. At 60 days I had to take the vehicle in because it was running rough and losing coolant. That was a misfire in the #5 cylinder.....cost me $704 and 2 days of lost income/work, couldn't find out why the engine was losing coolant. On Monday, June 8th at 10:00am my engine goes and I can't work. Now, I'm stuck paying $7020 (that's just the cost on the ESTIMATE....you know it's always higher) for a new engine at Cavalry Ford in Virginia Beach. My husband is a disabled Navy veteran and this mobile grooming vehicle is how I support our family. I asked them to help me out on the cost of the new motor (I just asked them to help and pay half of the estimate) since I had only had it a short time and they said no! Left me screwed, left my family screw! This vehicle was $52,000 and the engine went bad and I have only made 2 payments ($1099 a month) on it! Don't trust this shady dealership or their friend Wag N Tails, especially if your livelihood depends on the vehicle!

When I got home plastics were hanging off wheele well due to improper repairs made by them! Which they did not disclose to me! Never told me it was in an accident. When I asked about it they said they don't have to disclose repairs under 10% of msrp. When I told them I don't want the truck anymore and I'm bringing it back they said I can't do that because I already signed the paper work. Only when I mentioned I'm calling my lawyer the next day they decide they want to take there shotty repaired truck back. What a rip off don't trust these guys. The manger didn't even have the decency to come out of his office to say anything when I asked for him multiple times. These people should not be in buisness. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! They replaced the whole bedside of my "brand new" truck did a sloppy job repainting it everything under the truck was Covored in white paint. Tail light did not sit in place properly and bare metal was left exposed on the truck to rust away! These people showed no remorse & should be ashamed of themselves. I feel bad for whoever is buying the truck I returned.

He was friendly, personable and went above and beyond to get this car for us at a time when it is hard to find them! I also appreciated that he covered everything. We are from down state and drove two hours to get this car and liked the small town feel. Great job. Thank you Alex and team for your service.

Review of General RV in Wayland, Michigan…read more We recently had the pleasure of working with General RV in Wayland, Michigan, and overall, it was a very positive experience. Here's a detailed breakdown of what stood out and a few areas where there's room for improvement. What Stood Out Wide Range of Options: General RV offers an impressive variety of choices, from their "Keep You Camping" program - considered an "industry differentiator" because it prioritizes your ability to use your RV during peak camping season and educates owners on what truly needs immediate attention versus what can wait - to various extended warranties. Their willingness to work with customers and tailor options to individual needs really sets them apart. Exceptional Team Members * Marcus (Salesperson Extraordinaire): Marcus was fantastic. He patiently answered all our questions and helped us secure a great price. His expertise and knowledge of the industry as a whole, honesty and friendly approach made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. We appreciated all of his tips and tricks while test driving and found his insight and attention to detail refreshing! * Justin (Financier and "Cliff Talker Offer"): Justin was incredibly patient with all our questions, especially when we raised concerns about General RV's service department Yelp rating. He walked us through the financing options clearly and helped us understand everything thoroughly. * Aaron (Parts Specialist): Aaron was straightforward and helpful, providing a clear list of must-have, nice-to-have, and cool items for our RV. His no-nonsense attitude was refreshing and very useful. I love that he did not try to sell us things we didn't need and answered lots of questions about water systems and electricity! * Jim (Walk-Through Expert): Jim gave us a thorough walk-through of the RV and explained all the features in detail, ensuring we felt confident with our purchase. * Andrew (Insurance Specialist): Andrew was amazing at finding the best insurance coverage and deductible combination within our budget. His expertise made a complicated process much easier. * Front Desk Team: The ladies at the front desk were attentive and helpful throughout. Even though they initially spelled our name incorrectly, they quickly fixed it and kept the atmosphere light with some friendly teasing. Areas for Improvement While the overall experience was great, the cleanliness and attention to detail inside the RV could use some work. There were small issues like the time wasn't set on the clock, dried chunky caulking around the outside lights and smeared on a window, and a receptacle so dusty that I initially thought its color was off. Improving these small details would elevate the customer experience significantly. Final Thoughts General RV in Wayland offers excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a variety of helpful programs that make RV ownership easier and more enjoyable - especially for a first time buyer. With a bit more focus on the finishing touches and cleanliness, they would be absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for an RV.

I do not recommend this dealership…read more First, the coating package is a complete scam. They advertise one price, but once all the additional fees are added, you end up paying almost double. Save your money and don't buy it. The sales process was also very disappointing. The salesperson kept adding extra products and services, making the final price much higher than expected. I felt pressured into purchasing things I didn't really need. The biggest issue was that the salesperson assured me my current truck was capable of towing the camper. After I took delivery, I found out that wasn't true. I ended up having to replace my truck just to tow the camper I had purchased. I feel like I was misled, and that was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, the very first time I used the camper, my vacation was ruined. The fresh water system appeared to be contaminated, with what looked like bug eggs in the water tanks, and the water coming out of the faucets had a terrible smell. I had to spend a good part of my trip on the phone with customer service trying to get help. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was just as disappointing. The representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful, and the woman at the front desk treated customers with very little respect. It felt like they didn't care about resolving the issues after the sale. Overall, this has been one of the worst purchasing experiences I've had. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I hope my review helps others avoid the same headaches, unexpected expenses, and poor customer service that I experienced.
