We tried this restaurant while staying at the Omni. Im not sure what Jose's role was but we loved his friendly and humorous personality. He made the experience very enjoyable. We had the rainbow roll, spider roll, dumplings, sake, ginger salad, vegetable fried rice, and same. Everything was delicious and served fresh and prompt. The rainbow roll has escolar and it definitely is an acquired taste.

This will be quick.... this place is overpriced and mediocre at best. The service is lacking. I had to ask several times for refills that kept being forgotten. I wasn't told refills were not free on sodas. At almost $6 a soda, give me a bigger glass and not a 5oz. wine glass of mostly ice! Sushi is comparable to grocery store bought sushi. Panda express taste so much better and I question if some of the food was brought in by Panda Express. Dessert is pretty, but don't be deceived. Zen please improve the quality of your food or lower your prices to the level of mediocrity it is and train your employees to be more informative and attentive. Maybe the servers don't work as much as they should for tips because 20 percent gratuity is already included on your check. Another strike against this place....

The service provided by the servers was exceptional, as they were attentive, quick, and efficient. However, the overall rating of the establishment suffered due to the quality of the food. Personally, I found the food to be both overpriced and lacking in flavor, with the exception of the bock choy which was quite tasty. Unfortunately, the salmon nigiri was particularly disappointing and did not meet expectations, especially considering its higher price. Additionally, it is worth noting that if you plan to visit Zen, it is advisable to simply walk over rather than relying on the RSVP app for accurate information. During my visit, I was the only customer dining at 9pm, and the restaurant unexpectedly closed early while I was still there. Interestingly, my coworker and his wife had made reservations for 9:15pm through the app, but when they arrived at 7:30pm, they were allowed to dine earlier as there were no other patrons present. They also agree'd it could have been so much better and would not try it again. Given my experience, I would recommend exploring other dining options within the hotel compound if you have the opportunity to do so. For the restaurant, I would recommended reviewing the offerings you have and the quality of those items. Maybe have some blind studies on the menu, ask a local Yelp team to host elite evet to get honest feedback.

i visited this restaurant while staying at the Omni. i made a reservation for the first available 845, and received a call that my table was ready at 815 so i hustled down. (table for 1) i waited maybe 15 minutes before i was greeted by a server which was frustrating after rushing down early. ordered a glass of wine and then had the ginger salad. The ginger salad was good, very different than the traditional due to the type of fresh greens they use rather than iceberg and the pickled onions which added a nice touch. Then I ordered a sushi roll. The overall timing of the order and arrival for food left room for improvement as again I waited patiently. The roll was pretty good. I closed out my check at 9:45 and was ready for bed. Would not revisit as there are so many other options that provide more attentive service but it was convenient to have this option at the resort.

I will start by saying the service was great! Everyone was very friendly and always smiling. The calamari was great, and we were surprised with the dessert for our anniversary. The appetizer and dessert were probably the best parts of our meal. The drinks were ok. The entrees were pretty bland for the most part, and pretty over priced for the quality.

They accommodated our large party well.... Duck ramen was amazing. Service was fast. Abit overpriced but it's a given being that it's inside a resort. Our server- Maylee shared the same name as our daughter and made her feel very special celebrating her birthday!

The service was excellent, soo good I added 10% on top of the 18% gratuity for being in a large group. The atmosphere was professional pseudo-upscale wo the stuffy vibe. I went there two nights for dinner during a conference and each experience was the same. The Sea Bass w Black Rice was absolutely great. I recommend highly. The fish was most all the way through it nearly melted in my mouth and the black rice is life changing. I've had black rice before but never this good. The serving night I had Gen Tso Chicken w fried rice which was good even for $26. The green beans that came was crunchy for my taste but not bad. I ordered the Smokey Manhattan it was great and dessert I had David's Cup (decaf) again great. Great restaurant for groups up to 10, date night, and families or business.

After a long day at Universal Studios, we went back to the hotel to enjoy a meal. The food was seasoned well but pretty average. I did like the sea bass quite a bit, so I had to add a star for that. The service was great. Our server was very personable and nice to talk with. It was quiet while we were there but would probably be average noise level at dinner rush time. We came in about 30 min from closing but never felt rushed at all. Not a bad choice for hotel guests.

I wish I would've saved my $50 + tip for 2 rolls and went to Trevi's for dinner instead. I've had better Shrimp tempura rolls at Publix and that says a lot! I have sushi/sushami from some very nice high-end restaurants with great chefs pretty regularly so I have a knack for quality food. Something is off about their rolls and I can't quite comprehend what is missing. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the staff were nice, they gave me ample napkins and such for my to-go order. This was supposed to be a late night snack (9:30pm) by the pool with a couple of cocktails. The cocktails from the pool bar was the highlight of our dinner, not the sushi.

I had Laura as my server. I orders chicken lo mein, but it ended up with coming no chicken. I'm no Karen, so I did not mind. Laura was extremely nice and was eager to fix it. I was okay to just add the chicken and call it a day. The chef took pride in her work and brought out a brand new plate. It was 8:50 and they close at 9. I cannot say I'd do the same after working all day right before close. Overall my experience with the employees and food was a 5/5.

Delicious sushi! Wish I had taken more photos but we were starving! Highly recommend if staying in the resort. Our waiter forgot to bring us our wine but gave us Wakame salad for free to make up for it! Otherwise he was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The red dragon roll is amazing!!! Highly recommended!!

The hotel lobby was very clean and sleek, and the concierge were very nice and communicative! The restaurant is just inside on the first floor, and was very well presented. It was very slow this morning for brunch, and we had no problems finding a place to sit with our little 2 month old boy! The staff served us quickly, and explained each of their recommendations. I'm so glad we listened because each of the items were beautifully presented, and so so delicious. We started with the tuna pizza, mainly because we were curious, and that was the most unique take on pizza/seafood in my opinion. The tuna was so fresh, the garlic aioli complimented very well with the crisp cracker/crust. I had the Ette Norwegian Benedict and was very happy. The smoked salmon was very tasty, and the side arugula and avocado salad was very fresh. Maddie had the lobster roll which absolutely slapped! Lastly, we were recommended the AB Chocolate in a cup, and WOW you must try this! Very warm nutella chocolate cake at the bottom, vanilla ice cream all the way to the top of the cup, and topped with a hard chocolate disk and banana foam. It was honestly one of the top desserts I have ever had. We shared one, but so tempted to order another one! I can't wait to come back and try some of their cocktails sometime with dinner!

You have to pay to secure your seating, including mandatory 20% tip. Equaled out to $100/pp. Very steep! Reservations were easy on Open Table. We arrived separately & met in the lobby of the hotel the restaurant is in. Very upscale. Gorgeous. Literally NO guests visible. No staff at the hostess station. When I walked in to the bar to ask about seating, I got very dismissive responses from the bartender & the person who ended up being the host. Like WEIRD rude. Service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was largely empty the whole time. It was unnerving. The tea refresh was simply more hot water, NOT a fresh tea bag, so round two was basically flavorless. Ew. The server was really nice, but the long waits to get her attention were frustrating. And the water bottles were kept away from our table (?). I was having thirsty day, so my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth for way too long. When I asked for the bottle, she acted like she was irritated because it was "right behind" (me). Where neither of us could see it??? The lighting was AWFUL so most of the pics look bad, even with heavy editing. You can tell it's beautiful, but the pics are rough. Now - the settings were GORGEOUS. The dishes and flatware were beautiful. The water options were wonderful. The food is in the top 3 of any tea service I've ever had. The tea itself is hands down the best tea I've EVER HAD anywhere. You get a sampler box to smell before you choose, and there were so many that I loved. I ended up with Marco Polo blue, add honey and cream. I couldn't finish all the food, and they boxed the remainder up. Let me take the remainder of my water bottle home. Pushed for a review HARD. So here it is. We have to remember that the Michelin rating is solely for the food, not the decor, not the service. It definitely delivered there, but the rest really fell flat. For the price I'd expect way more as it's about double what tea costs anywhere else in the entire area.

They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. Where to start. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in terms of general vibe,…read morequality of food, egregious use of AI, and overall inconsistency. My husband found this on a local Facebook group and through Google reviews. Immediately we were confused because when looking up "Davenport Sashimi Fusion", the supposed name, the website pulls up a half-baked AI filled mess with a clunky online ordering form and nothing else. No real photos, genuinely just AI. When we navigated here, the sign actually differs and says "Hibachi2U". Weird! We head inside and see the "Davenport Sashimi Fusion" sign. Which is it? Surely Davenport Sashimi Fusion, since that's the name of the business on Yelp? No! After entering you're greeted with a cold AI-powered kiosk. There were a few people seated at booths, but the one waitress looked genuinely confused we wanted to be seated. The menus we were presented with state Hibachi2U again, so I guess that's the name after all? It feels extremely suspicious to me and not like the vibe that they're under new management (which is not even advertised anywhere). Menu was once again full of AI and not legitimate photos of their food. From a presentation standpoint, there is no effort put into this to even try. We inquired about the pricing of a la carte salmon sashimi since it was listed online and wasn't sure if pricing had changed (online menu does not match the restaurant). The waitress was surprised we asked about sashimi and stated they do not offer a la carte orders in the restaurant. Name states sashimi fushion. Whatever. We ordered gyoza, shrimp tempura roll, salmon crunch roll, and the shrimp and steak hibachi with fried rice. This came with house salad and clear soup. The gyoza was either a Cisco or LingLing frozen pre-cooked and super oily. Not fresh. The clear soup literally tasted like dirty brown water and was untouchable. I did not try the house salad since the dressing looked dubious and reminded me of pimento cheese. The sushi was extremely disappointing as the overuse of crunch flakes hid the pre-made Publix sushi type construction with poor quality ingredients. The hibachi was EMBARRASSING. Inconsistently cooked rice (both crunchy and mushy) with little flavor and tasted OFF. I had two bites and was done. The steak was cooked decently for medium rare (although chewy) and the shrimp was extremely overcooked and rubbery. The vegetables included were minuscule and seemed like they were bought as the rejects to save costs. In all, this is a lazy, horrible restaurant that presents as two different businesses falsely and has poor judgement in quality and cooking. Waste of a space in this shopping area, steer clear.
