A serious contender for best neighborhood dispensary here on the lip of Summerlin South and Spring Valley. This place is a tad out of the way (in a newer, cleaner office complex just to the northeast of Southern Hills Hospital), but you'll see the signs pointing the way once you turn from South Fort Apache onto West Post Road and drive for a hundred yards or so. The thoughtful humans at Zen Leaf put those out there. Although removed from the main streets, the lighting is plentiful in the parking lot. Translation: It doesn't feel like you're gonna get mugged while walking from your car. There's an armed guard, usually out front. The two I've seen and talked with have been incredibly polite and helpful. Now, this place is tiny, but damn: It's got this utterly laid-back and sort of boutique vibe. Everything about this place feels purposeful. Dark wooden floors, some black metal in some of the displays, good lighting, nice display of flowers, one de rigueur wall with branded towels and such. But the design feels deliberate. Careful. It's not uber fancy, but it feels, well, cool. And cool is exactly what the employees are. I've been here a number of times during different months on different days, even at different times of day, and every employee I've interacted with has been friendly, incredibly well informed about the merchandise, and helpful beyond belief. Just some great personalities working here. Juan is my favorite recent superstar there. Employees stand behind an L-shape cabinet. There are usually three or four of them, and you stand in a short line until it's your turn. It feels easy here. The only drawback is the small displays of edibles, drinks, tinctures, cartridges, etc. You kind of have to lean around other customers at other spots to see everything Zen Leaf offers for sale. That aside, there's some potent shit here. For whichever kind of smoke you're looking for. I've tried many different kinds of items here, and they've all been great. Buds of White Sands and Granddaddy OG, in particular, have performed mighty well. Solid selection of edibles here, too. Do yourself a favor and pick up a couple of Dixie Elixirs. The chocolate crunch bar is no joke, either. The prices are just a touch higher than a place like The Source (and Zen Leaf's most potent cartridge, Silver Bullet OG, is great but isn't quite as strong as The Source's legendary Anslinger's Dream--named for America's first real drug czar/autocrat, Harry Anslinger, who led the Federal Bureau of Narcotics from the '30s until the early '60s, aka a real tool). The customer service here, however, is superlative. The employees know their weed (in all its modern recreational forms) and can advise you for whichever kind of high you're going for. And that's another thing: The line here can occasionally move slowly, but that's only because the employees are taking good care of the customers in front of you. Trust me, when it's your turn they'll likewise take excellent care of you. It's the vibe and the customer service (and the quality of the buds) that keep me coming back here. Competitors might sell the same high-quality edibles at slightly cheaper prices, but if you live in this neighborhood, Zen Leaf is well worth your time. And their proximity to those of us who live west of the 215 and south of Spring Mountain is worth spending four or five bucks more per, say, Dixie Elixir at Zen Leaf. I highly (sorry) recommend these guys. Great people, great products . . . a hidden gem over here in our part of the valley. read more

Did a whole loop around Vegas checking out the dispensaries and this was one of my least favorites. The ladies in the front were super friendly and excited, which made me excited to be there! Upon walking in, the guys there were really awkward and not helpful. Anytime we had questions they kind of just made us feel stupid like we should already know everything. We felt really pressured to buy, so we got the cheapest strain they had. Like other reviews stated, they were all out of edibles! This was the only dispensary we went to that didn't have a wait. Maybe it was just the day we went but after walking in I see why. I did like how they had their displays. They had little flashlights that you can shine against whatever buds you were looking at and a little lid to pop off if you wanted to smell. read more

Buds were "ok"....they literally had NOTHING I wanted left which was a HUGE bummer. My bud tender was super nice, but when I asked if I could split my 1/4 since they didn't have anything I really was looking for she said "yes" BUT didn't tell me that I would be paying the 1/8 price for each instead of the $75 1/4 price....now yes it's only $5 more BUT when your ALREADY paying $99+ for a damn $75 sack that is a JOKE!!!! they ALSO don't tell you NOR is it on your receipt that an additional $3 will be added on later when you use your card to pay!!! Wtf!? Like we need ANY more "fees" added to our sack?!? It would be waaaaayyyyy better to have your pricing listed with the tax included so it's not a damn SHOCK when we actually pay! read more
