I have to be in different parts of the Coachella valley and one day this week I stoped in to the zen massage. Very good treatment. Deep tissue was what I asked for and Jenny knew how to work my soreness out. Thanx Jenny and Thanx zen Massage Btw. Very good location. read more

Sarah was so Amazing , one of the best massages I've ever received, and I have many ! I had a 60 minute deep tissue for a Very tight back , neck and shoulders . I feel so good again . Their prices are so low , it really doesn't seem fair ! But you can afford to go more often which is fabulous ! read more

This was the worst massage I have ever received. The store was noisy, I can hear the sound of chopping on body from another room. The massage therapist doesn't seem to know basic technique at all. She mostly used her elbows to gouge my muscles, or just chopped on my shoulders like I was a piece of pork chop. The strangest part was the therapist was waiting outside asking me to tip her and she was starring at my wallet greedily the whole time. Owner did try to fix the problem afterward but I think they should have their workers trained first instead of saying going to fire anyone. I definitely will not return. read more

I was back in town last week and i had gone to Zen before and had Mary give me one of the best massage i had in some time. I had driven for 4 and half hours and my back and shoulders were so tight. I walked in and i was impressed again by the cleanliness and the friendly staff. I asked if Mary was available and I was happy to hear that she was available. She gave me a deep tissue massage that eased the tightness in my back and shoulders and I was feeling like a new man walking out. I had some meetings that day and was refreshed and stress free. Thanks Mary! The second time was as good as the first. I wished I was in the area more often. read more

One of the best massages of my life at an amazing price! Highly recommend for anyone trying to avoid the pricey resort/spa fees.

Mary has the best hands to work out tense shoulders. I was in a rear-end car accident back in February and I was still having whiplash pain, I saw a chiro a handful of times and got massages right after the accident but the other spas I went to just didn't work the areas I needed. So I saw this place near my apartment next to CVS, so I called and made an appointment on Friday for an hour, it was great and I'm in less and less pain. Then on Saturday I walked in and was able to work in a 30 minute massage for my neck. Now I'm able to go back to work and doing what I love. Thank you ladies so much. I appreciate you. read more

I had never been here before but had heard good things. They welcome walk ins, but I booked a one hour massage for us three girls, after our Christmas get together. All three of us walked out of there feeling so much better. Open 7days a week, 9:00 am to 9:00pm. Thai massage, full body, 40 minutes, 60 minutes, hot rocks too. Reasonably priced, small cash discount. 760 360 1981 42215 Washington St, Palm Desert. In the CVS/Albertsons shopping center. read more

Zen Massage - Zen Massage - Massage Near Me - Palm Desert, California

Sadly it wasn't as peaceful and relaxing as I would have hoped. My masseuse kept answering phone calls during my session. Sometimes she would lay the phone next to my head and the ringer was so loud. I don't believe electronic interruptions should be happening during a massage unless it an emergency. She also kept leaving the room and coming back in to help with other customers. Very odd. read more

This place has the best, consistent massages. The ladies are professional and listen to what you need. They always ask what strength you want. Prices are great too. Highly recommend. read more

I've been here about three times and some massages were better than other depending on the therapist. A few tips would be to whisper when communicating amongst therapists. Turning down the ringer on the business phones. Aside from that the place is clean and flexible with walk ins. read more

Ana and Helen were absolutely wonderful. We were very happy with our massages, we will definitely be coming back. Post

So glad to have Jennifer there. After working on my back and neck - all was well!! Best massage I can find in the desert (and I am picky). Prices are very reasonable and fair. I can thoroughly recommend this place!!! read more

CiCi was fabulous. Strong pressure and thorough quality massage. The stones were lovely too - Thank you

My husband went to Zen last week for a massage and he said it was good. When he came out of the room he paid cash for massage which was $80 then a $10 tip. The girl insisted another $20 be paid. He paid it and realized after that he paid a $30 tip on an $80 massage. He assumed it was a mistake. I just left there after a massage and the girl was waiting to be paid. I put down $90 cash and she started getting irate and demanded another $20. Saying good service more money. I said the massage is $80 and I am paying $90. She starts getting angry and demanded another $20. I asked to speak with the manager but one was not present. We will never go back and I don't recommend this place. I see down the reviews that this happened to someone else. I guess that is their thing! read more

Great service and good price! Love it! Wish I lived in the area so I could always have them!

I have tried massages at Zen a couple of time and personally have had a wonderful experience so I have recommended Zen to several friends. I was saddened to learn of their recent experiences. A friend's son and girlfriend arranged massages and one masseurs' phone kept vibrating in her pocket throughout her massage and the other masseur was called out to help another client during a session and replaced by another masseur. Totally unacceptable in my view. They were aggressively questioned about their low tip. read more

Best trigger point/deep tissue massage I've ever had. Spend the extra money to get two hours. Mary is strong and precise. Amazing.

I've had a crazy headache and sore shoulders for a few days so I thought I'd try this place. I got a 30mins upper body massage by Lynda and she did an amazing job! Most of the time they don't get into my neck and shoulders but she did and really worked on my knots. It felt great. They have a 10$ off coupon for new customers so I paid 30$ for 30 mins and tipped her 15$. For 45$ I feel so much better. Well worth it. I'll be back to do a hour next time. read more

Great massage! Got a 30 minute massage and it was amazing! Such a great deal for $40, yelp special of $5 off was a bonus!

Great response time so far.. booked an appointment for my hubbz.. too much work not enough rest. Cant wait to surprise him l

I had to get out of my house for a few hours so I figured I'd give this place a try as a way to kill some time. I'm not a huge massage fan, but I've been experiencing tightness in my shoulder and thought this might help. Nancy greeted me upon entering, explained the pricing, and we agreed on 30 min., which we ended up extending to 60. She was wonderful! Gentle, yet firm, and it's obvious she knows what she is doing. She started by walking on my back, something I always assumed was a cliche. Man, was I wrong. Her toes dug in to the muscles of my back in the most delicious way possible. Then on to a traditional massage where she hit all the right spots again, massaging away the tension. 60 minutes flew by in blur, I nearly fell asleep a few times under Nancy's expert hands. I had planned on this being a a one time only, spur of the moment thing. But, I fear that I've already made plans to re-visit this delightful escape as soon as I possibly can. read more

Came in here due to a strain on neck/traps asked for a deep tissue. 30 mins is all it took I was sore for 3 days but the pain and strain was completely gone highly recommend for price and quality ! read more

Had a vacation rental right down the road and thought this might be a good spot to try out for some relax time. Me and my friend got two massages two days in a row and they were great! The reason for 3 stars was when we went to pay the ladies they weren't happy with the tip were we're going to leave them. They very specifically told us it wasn't enough and if we liked the massages we needed to double the tip. I myself work in a tipping industry and was totally offended at their customer service. They were very kind the whole whole time, then completely changed their tune and were very rude and ungrateful at the end. The massages were top notch, quick service, took walk ins, clean environment, just change the level of customer service and gratitude and it'd be a 5star place. read more

Lucy is the very best in massage since I have been coming to Zen here in Palm Desert. My lower back was in tremendous pain, she took care of my pain by applying pressure on my tense spots. Her customer service is the very best. My daughter treats me with a gift certificate every Father's day. I always ask for Lucy, she treats me with courtesy, dignity and respect. I walk out feeling 100% better than when I walked in, all because Lucy, my therapist, has excellent technique and her kindness and concern for my health and well being is met. Thank-You Zen Massage and Thank-You! Thank-You! Thank-You to Lucy! read more

Absolutely amazing work. I feel as though I can move again. My husband said it was the best massage and just what he needed.

Great massage place, very professional, Mary has been very good on helping me on my lower back problem

I love this little hidden gem of a place. Great massage, clean and kind people.

Not much into massages but after hard trail running and struggling with sore legs and back pain I gave it a shot. Must say that it was the best decision ever! The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The massage started with some deep tissue to all the parts of the back and my masseuse found some knots on my shoulders and worked them out. Also, she used hot stones around the middle of the session without me asking and it was a very grateful detail from her as the stones alivehbeated my cramped and pained muscles. I must say that at $50 an hour is a steal special after the service being so good! Will return here after my different running events for recovery for sure! I didnt ask for my masseuse name but I will ask for her when I return read more

I recommend getting a massage here. I did and loved it. Helped get my toxins out and relax. Will come back here again!!

Probably one of the best massage places and treatments I've ever had. I've had plenty in my time too. I've suffer with my back and they got straight to it and worked on tricker points. Highly recommend and this won't be the last time I'll be going it was that good and super relaxing! read more

On Dec 22 I went to "zen" to go buy a gift certificate for a massage, I went there about 3:30, door was closed, then I called. After 20 rings a lady answers to tell me they are not open after I asked her. Then I ask if they will be open tomorrow and the lady answered she didn't know. It felt wired to hear that answer from a business that had some positive comments. . I'm not taking my business to a business that is closed when website says they are open. Weird. read more

Went in for a couples massage. Was amazing! Very professional & the price is reasonable.

Zen Massage was able to get me in the same day I called and gave me a great deep tissue massage with hot rocks and hot towels to top it off. Masseuse didn't speak much English but I didn't go there for conversation. She was careful to ask if the pressure she was using wasn't too uncomfortable. Very good massage at a very competitive price. I'll be going back! read more
