    Italian sub

I went in here to get some lunch. I got an Italian sub and the quantity was very poor. It was like I went into my fridge after I haven't gone grocery shopping for a month and there was one piece of meat for each bag and I assembled my sandwich. It tasted good, but the amount of meat was not to par. I've been too many small pizza places in my time and have never seen such a disgrace overall though they were very nice and polite. That is the only thing I would say. My brother got a roast beef sub and he said it was very good. They did a phenomenal job with it. Maybe mine wasn't once in a while fluke

    Curly fries, yum!

If you're driving through this part of Massachusetts and feeling lost about where to eat like we were, this is the safe haven you were looking for! The roast beef is super lean and doesn't have that weird taste that sometimes roast beef has. The curly fries are nice and crunchy and pretty fun to play with. It's a nice family owned restaurant that makes you feel very welcomed. Lunch was very reasonably priced and we were super happy with it.

After a long day of travel my girls and I wanted to see what Ipswich had to offer. Zeno's did not disappoint, we were welcomed with a smile upon entry. The restaurant was clean, well kept and very open. The food was delicious, the fish and chips were a hit with three of us and the fourth was in love with her sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by the onion strings, they hit the spot. So happy I ran across Zeno's while preplanning our trip.

Super Roast Beef Three Way was delicious and service was extremely friendly. Did not realize current owners opened in 2015 and it's a husband/wife team that took over from parents. Nice historical family business.

Are you there god? It's me, John. If you want to talk to God, here's your chance. Eat this sandwich and enter an altered state of roast beef reality. Get the super "3 way" and then you can contemplate the existence of the universe. You will discover that we are simply on this planet to pass time in between bites of this roast beef sandwich. I am new to New England - this sandwich also helps me understand why people live in such a cold and rainy place. This sandwich is a portal of understanding - I believe it can solve world peace and the climate crisis. No, I'm not kidding. Zenos for president.

    Roast beef 3 way!

I've heard of this place through social media and knew it was a must try. When you walk in, it has the aesthetic you expect from a north shore beef joint. No frills, stationary benches to sit, and a Wachusett chip display. I always go with a junior 3 way. This place did not disappoint! Flavor was crazy good. The meat to sauce to mayo to cheese to bun ratio was on point! The bun held up nicely with the amount of beef they loaded on it. As my sister says, "I want a blue collar beef." Could not have said it better! I don't want the fancy toppings, just a perfect 3 way. This place is slinging beefs, and they are worth the drive! One of the best beefs I've ever had!

Went to Zeno's Today and the 3 way roast beef was unbelievable best beef I've ever had!!!

    Jr. Roast beef !

Great place to eat some of the best seafood or roast beef! We are from N.H. visiting the area and came across this place! Amazingly good! Thank you for the quick service and friendly service!

Oh my is that a damn near perfect beef! Top rated beef for me in Northshore!

Great place to stop in and grab a beef, definitely the best around. Well crafted and damn near perfect. The onion rings are delicious. Big beef, ring, drink and your all set.

Perhaps Essex County's finest roast beef. This establishment carries the tradion. My fav is Junior extra mayo.

And, well, I won't keep you in suspense but that first bite of the salted honey butter and jam biscuit was transcendental. It was a little crumbly but so chewy and moist, and the jam and honey butter combo was incredible. Indescribable. They have so many pastry options, as well as breakfast sandwiches, but I really had eyes only for the biscuits. Also tried the cheddar scallion biscuit - amazing. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how good these were. The key for super flaky, tender biscuits is using very, very cold butter and not mixing the dough too much. It was cool to watch people baking in the back kitchen. Got the quiche as well. Tasty, with a nice mix of egg and veggies and cheese, with a well-made crust, but next time I would just get more biscuits. Lots of free parking spots in front and nearby. Although it wasn't busy, we waited quite a while even for beverages. When the waitress eventually took our orders, I asked for a cheese burger club sandwich, medium rare, add onions. The burger on my club sandwich was so overcooked it was like a piece of shoe leather. There were no onions, and the minuscule piece of cheese didn't look or taste like cheese, but reminded me of a piece of curled up parchment paper. My husband's sub was fair but she forgot to bring him the glass of water he'd asked for and he had to keep asking for refills of his iced tea.
