Very disappointing experience. I found a large, sharp piece of plastic in my chicken wrap. When I brought it to their attention, they didn't seem concerned and simply offered to make me a new one. After finding plastic in my food, the last thing I wanted was a replacement meal. The food quality has also gone downhill. The roast beef was especially disappointing. I ordered chicken and broccoli Alfredo. It came with garlic bread and a small salad. I also requested extra Parmesan cheese and they were kind enough to sprinkle some on top as well as putting a decent amount into the plastic cup on the side for me. Everything tasted great the Alfredo could be a little bit more saucy, but overall everything was great. The lady that gave me my cheese was nice. Although their calzones are delish they wouldn't honor the prices on the board and wanted to charge me more when I showed up for the pick up, false advertising never works and they lost a customer. Sadly a lot of these food businesses around don't update their prices either at the store or online and then want to overcharge you at the register. read more

We stopped by today on our first day in town for vacation. I had my heart set on a super beef and that's what I ordered. I rolled with a 4 way add horseradish. Food came up quickly and it was a glorious mess. The sandwich was covered in James river bbq and mayo. Bun was toasted nicely and the flavor of the beef was on point. Went to Route 110 on Friday with some family, and had an amazing experience! This was my second time, and the food is always outstanding, even with quick service! However, this time the employees went above and beyond to make things easy on us. We even got some extra food! Everything (especially the bathroom) was clean and well lit. The food here is always good. Great pizza, steak & cheese subs & north shore roast beef sandwiches (iykyk). The thing that takes this place to the next level is their service. The food is always okay to good. You kind of know what you are getting. We ordered delivery last week and they changed their system. It didn't give us an option to tip once we completed the order and we realized afterwards we have no cash. My wife was at home alone waiting for me to come back from a work event. My wife said the driver came and dropped the food off and the asked for a tip. When she apologized because she didn't have cash (which usually we tip at least 20% on the site). She said the guy seemed super mad went to his car and slammed the door and sped off. We live in an apartment complex so luckily no kids were playing around the area. Jr sauce cheese- these guys sling some serious beef! The bun was perfectly griddled the beef was piled high and perfectly pink, cheese on the bottom as it should be and James River sauce flowing like a River! We had 3 JR's 3 way- sauce cheese- and just cheese all were stacked and great. Have tried Route 110 several times. Always has exceeded expectations for both food and service. The roast beef is cooked to perfection, not dry and stale, like some other places. The portions are huge! The sauce on a three way was well balanced. The chicken Caesar can feed 2 people with a lot of chicken, grilled just right. This will become a new favorite! read more

3 stars is too little but 4 is too much. It was decent. Beef was done right and tasted good but it was a bit cold. Reasonable serving size. Not big but definitely reasonable. I was there at 5:00 so maybe the oil wasn't up to temp, but the fries were soggy. I made the mistake of eating there and that probably killed it for me. The place is straight dirty. I get it. It's not the Capital grill but at least run a wet rag over the tables. The counter people acted like it was a major inconvenience to have to take my order. But, that's not exclusive to 110. It's hard to get help, I know. Lastly...And this is minor but it's a principle thing...don't zing me an added charge for using a credit card without telling me. At least put up a sign. It wasn't a lot of money, but still. So 3.5 stars for a decent beef. I'm sure it's the best beef in Amesbury but definitely not in entire area. read more

I rolled up to this place not knowing who the cook was, but it was the cook who was smoking on the front porch. Ordered Lg Beef with cheese and fries to go. On a grilled sesame seed bun sat a large mound of ice cold chopped dry roast beef with a slice of unmelted cheese. In my bag, no napkins, no sauce, ketchup, mayo, nothing. The cook and the cashier were hollering at each other the entire time. No wonder the place was completely empty. Awful food, awful service. Awful atmosphere. Not sure why the reviews for this place are not the greatest... I came here after taking a nice walk and decided to treat myself to a chicken finger dinner. My boyfriend got a steak sub with peppers and onions. We also got 2 drinks and the total was around $33... Really not bad for what we got! His sub was loaded with meat and it was delicious! I got a ton of chicken, tons of fries and rice, and a delicious side salad! We had this for lunch and I heated up my chicken and fries in the air fryer and it tasted really good still & the chicken was still just as crispy as when I got it! The staff was very friendly and nice and there was tons of seating- indoor & outdoor! Everything was so good- I just wish I tried one of their roast beef sammies because someone got it near us and it looked so good- and it was huge! Had the absolute worst experience yesterday. Highly recommended steering clear. Used the online ordering which directed me to use my paypal. $75 was withdrawn from my paypal and received a confirmation of my order. After waiting over an hour I contacted them only to be put on hold repeatedly while the staff laughed and joked and told me my order didn't exist. I had to send my receipts to them twice and they still proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do. I even offered to pay cash until they could process the reimbursement but they refused to make the order. They told me they would "call me back" after they called the owner about giving me a refund. The ordeal ended in Amesbury police department having to intervene and make the restaurant bring my money to me. But get this - the girl hands me $70, when I stopped her and told her it was supposed to be $75 she said it was and started to get in the car, where she then pulled the other $5 bill out and handed it to me. Biggest fraud and hassle I've ever had to go through for take out. I will never ever contact this scam of a business again. Steer clear! read more
