They tried to rip us off. We bought multiple combos and their menu specifically says that to add a split cup is an extra 3.50 as one of their deals. So, when we get the receipt they charged us full price for the drinks. When we brought it up to them they said that they don't count that even though their menu specifically states they do. I visited on in July, in the afternoon. I'm not from the town, I was staying around for work. I've gone to a zero degrees before, so I know how it goes after I order, I get asked for my receipt to confirm the food I'm getting is what I ordered. My friend and I came in and immediately noticed the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. I'd understand if they were busy and feeling overwhelmed but it was actually settle and not too busy. So we come up to the register and the the cashier (there were 2 girls in the front) just stared at me and I couldn't tell whether or not I could order or?? So I asked if i could order and the girl just looked at me and said yes and asked what I wanted, so my friend and I ordered a cucumber limeade and the peach blossom, hot Cheeto elote w fries and their new cereal ice cream. While we sat and waited, my friends and I noticed that the cashiers were making faces towards the customers that were eating inside, there were kids and such so we thought it was unprofessional to work in a customer service environment if you don't want to give customer service. Our orders came out separately, so the first drink I wasn't asked for my receipt even though I offered since I've been to a zero degrees before and they typically ask so I offered and it was turned down so I was like okay no problem, then the 2nd order came out which was the food and this time it was a guy who handed me my order, asked for my receipt, reviewed it and everything was fine, his attitude was much better than the girls in the front. Then my 2nd drink comes out, and it's the same person who handed me my first drink, and asked for my receipt, in which I was confused because the first time she gave me my order she didn't ask, then the 2nd time she looks at me and wants to ask to check, so I didn't have a problem with it since I'm the first place I offered her to review it anyways, so I gave her my receipt and she didn't even look at it? And said okay did you get anything else? I said yes. I also ordered the cereal sundae. You can check my receipt and she just told me okay and passed me my receipt. So even though I was annoyed, I held it in and just waited to receive my last order and just leave. At that point I reminded myself it's not me, it's them because I never came at them with an attitude, I never got aggressive nor gave any signs of giving them a reason to give me attitude. Then came out the last part of my order, got it, asked once again if she wanted to check my receipt, and turned it down. So I left with annoyance lol. The food and drinks were good. But the customer service was terrible. I've never had zero degrees so I was a bit excited to try. Ordered the mangonada with light on chamoy sauce and light tajin of course I didn't get it that way. I ended up scooping some of the tajin off and throwing some of my mango chunks away cause it was loaded with tajin. I couldn't do anything with the chamoy so I decided I was gonna just deal with it. Worked in service industry so I just wasn't gonna send it back. I ordered popcorn chicken and fries but it took 40 mins to make. First experience I wasn't very impressed. Although, a friend of mine had very good experiences at Houston location because he saw my snap and was raving... told him I was in Baytown. We will make this a regular place. My husband purchased the Mangonada and and loved it. The fruit was very fresh and there was tons of it! The cup was served clean on the outside which I really appreciate. We also purchased the Cookie Monster and really loved the roasted marshmallow it was served with. My son ordered the cereal milkshake with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and he loved it. The cereal wasn't stale and the ice cream texture was perfect. I do NOT recommend this establishment. At least if you are caucasian. The young girl at the order counter didn't even look up and acknowledge me until I said hello after standing there for almost a minute. While I watched other guests at the small cafe type joint leave with there to go orders placed after my to go order was placed. I asked the young girl who seemed to be managing. She told me it was on the way. After I explained that I was waiting longer than other guests who came after me with bigger orders. She repeated herself with an attitude like I was bothering here. The only difference in all the other folks there, I am caucasian. They were of hispanic or African decent. I waited another 10 minutes then left with no food and no $7 refund for my food.
