My friends and I came here last night for their grand opening. We got there at around 10 PM and there was still a line out the door. I was hoping that there would not be such a long line because they were opened all day and I would assume people that wanted to go...went early in the day. I GUESS NOT. I had Zero Degrees for the first time two years ago and two years ago, they did not have the same concepts. The concept and the image was completely different so I guess this could be considered my "first" time at Zero Degrees. I decided to try their Pink Lychee, which is pretty much a lychee slush with strawberries. There are two sizes for drinks and for each size, you could upgrade it to a glass bottle. For the 16 oz, you could upgrade to a milk jug and for the 24 oz, you could upgrade to a mason jar. I didn't upgrade it because I had no use for the jar. I have plenty of cups and mugs at home. They also have the travel bottles which city designs on them. Zero Degree is the second place that I know that offers these bottles. Creamberry being the first. The wait was about an hour. From getting into line all the way to us actually getting our drinks. No one explained the BOGO deal to us and what drinks were included. Thanks to the yelper that took a picture of the BOGO deal with information. That was how we knew what drinks were part of the deal. Otherwise, it would've taken longer because we won't know until we get to the cashier. Then it would take an extra 5-10 minutes for us to make up our minds and that decreases efficiency. It makes sense why our wait was so long now. Between my friends and I, we were able to try a few different types of drinks: pink lychee, lychee crush, peach blossom, strawberry horchata, and the sea salt green tea. The only one I liked was the peach blossom. Pink lychee tasted like they blended a can of lychee, syrup included, with ice and stuffed strawberries in there. Overly sweet and too much sugar. I guess it was expected but it was a dessert in itself. It may have been better if there was a better balance between lychee and strawberries. Lychee crush tasted like juice. Strawberry horchata was like strawberry milk with a dash of cinnamon. Sea salt green tea was .... just that. The peach blossom had a nice balance of flavors. The tea flavor did not get drowned out, which was perfect. Overall, it's just not my cup of tea. The drinks seem more complex but taste wise, I can't taste the complexity. There was nothing that I'd rush back to try. If I was in the area and was in the mood then sure, I'd stop by. Otherwise, I wouldn't really specifically make my way here just for Zero Degrees. read more

Zero Degrees is the bee's knees. Yes, what you've heard is true -- their grand opening weekend consisted of an hour and a half wait around the building. On a Sunday. Don't people go to church? Anyway, we stuck around and waited with the masses, not unlike a trip to the DMV or Disneyland. My friend had won an item of her choice during their social media giveaway, so she redeemed it for the TRIO CONE. Score! That's like $12. It comes with your choice of chicken, so naturally we got one of each flavor: Salt & Pepper, Orange, and Honey BBQ. It was no contest, Orange is definitely the best flavor. We also tried the HOT CHEETOS ELOTES. Oh man, so good! The mayonnaise, chili powder, grilled corn, melted cheese, and novelty hot cheetos = hype is real. I'd come back to order this in a heartbeat, but I'd suggest sharing since it gets a little too rich. As for drinks, I got my trusty go-to: SEA SALT GREEN TEA. Very floral. Next time I think I'll adjust the sweetness level a little lower. Since it was BOGO weekend, I also tried their STRAWBERRY HORCHATA. It was okay, not my thing. This is my third time coming here, but this time I stopped in to try the food. I live in summerlin and it's really hard to find actually good elotes in that area. I ordered hot Cheeto elote with half Cajun fries... let me tell you! I didn't know how bad I needed this until I tried it. The elote was really great! quality and quantity was perfect!! Got the classic milk tea & magonada. Both tasted good. The only thing is mangonada, is pretty much mango ice slush top with a few chunks of mangos. Would like it better if there was more mangos in the drink. Although we didn't order any food. The snacks menu seemed interesting. Maybe will try that another time with another drink. read more

Seriously have been waiting to try this place out. I see their ads everywhere so props to their marketing/media peeps. I tried the classic mangonada (with a 24oz glass mason jar upgrade). Tasted great! The place itself is smaller than anticipated. In their photos it appears larger, so make sure to go at the right time because it definitely gets busy towards the end of the night. I've been wanting to try this place forever!! They've been open for a while and I've finally got a chance to go. Zero Degrees is located right next to Planet Fitness. There's lots of parking but It does get busy especially during lunch. My friends and I arrived at 1130 am. There was maybe 2 tables. They do have a variety of drinks from milkshakes, to teas, slush like, etc. So we went up to the cashier and ordered our food and drinks. We got the Cookie Monster, strawberry mojito, mangonada, and ube milkshake. For food we really wanted to try the chicharon elote but guess what.... they were out :( they were also out of boba for 15 minutes, which we waited for. We ordered popcorn chicken mild with salt and pepper, the honey bbq popcorn chicken, elote, hot Cheetos elote, and truffle fries. I enjoyed the popcorn chicken and fries a lot! What was good was that the food came out very fast! Elote was alright. The mangonada wasn't drinkable. My friend drank half of it because It was very very salty. Overall, It was okay. I just had higher expectations. I probably would return because I want to try the strawberry horchata and the chicharon but maybe not anytime soon. Visiting Vegas from San Francisco and decided to take the family here for some cooling down. We all really enjoyed everything so I would recommend this place. My kids were not able to decide which drink they wanted so they all did split cups of different variations. The coffee horchata was amazing. Mom really liked the mangonada. The cucumber lemonade is actually very good. I like how the cucumber comes through even under the mix of sour sweet lemonade. French fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was also very strong so you can really taste the tea. My sister go the matcha milk tea which was really good as well. I actually liked that one better because it was so fresh.
