Extremely clean place that is nicely decorated. Service is prompt and efficient. Food is fantastic! Because we couldn't decide what appetizer to get we got 4! We got seaweed salad, the cold trio (tofu, cucumber and wood ear mushrooms), scallion pancake with spam, toothpick skewered chicken. The scallion pancake was a delicious mix of egg, spam and an outside tortilla-tasting pancake. All were really good! Two of us got the ramen and it was a large bowl and two of us got poke bowls. Since I am a lover of spam I had to a spam poke bowls. Loved that the rice to ingredient ratio was more balanced than getting a bowl full of rice! I hope to go back when I'm back in town. read more

This is located in the plaza. I've been here now four times, and each time it has been with good service and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. I've tried a couple different noodle dishes both the Ramen and the golden bone soup. The Ramen was the garlic tonkatsu which was tasty, and the portion is average. The soy egg is very good and the roasted pork has a lot of flavor. The golden bone soup with noodles has a nice large bone with marrow in it. They provide gloves and a side plate so you can dismantle the bone. They finish off the meal with fried sesame balls. I have been wanting to try their steamed black bean and rice bowl; but it takes 35 mins. So next time I'll need to call ahead while driving since this place is 55 minutes away from home. read more

Quiet on a Saturday night. So service was fast. The soup was refreshing on a cold evening when I was feeling under the weather. I don't know if my taste buds were off, but I thought the crab rangoons were just okay. They were perfectly cooked though. We ordered black garlic chicken ramen to go, was quite good and still flavorful when we ate at home although the server said the food might get cold since they finish preparing it for a while?? We arrived 5 mins early than the time we would have our food ready. Maybe they didn't have a lot of orders, so they instantly prepared our food and it was sitting there a while. Pretty good ramen spot in East Lansing! Had an extensive menu with more than just ramen, there were other Taiwanese/Chinese options ranging from noodle soups to congee and clay pot rice. The portions were large and the items we got were very fairly priced for how much of a portion we got. Definitely very affordable for ramen, in my experience. Broth was tasty, and they don't cheat you on the meat or toppings. I also really liked the scallion pancakes- you don't find this on the menu at a lot of places! Best of all, they give you free fried sesame balls (with a red bean filling) at the end of your meal! They were so tasty and freshly made.
