Since I walked in two of the ladies were talking at the counter looked at me from head to toe and kept talking in there own language not even greeted me. The lady who did on me not even ask what shape i wanted. End up she cut me on the right eyebrow. When i point it out to her she said its ok. Not even say sorry!! Seem like she didn't care at all. I've been coming here for more than 5 years to get my eyebrows threaded by Noreen. I love love coming here and even after moving away I travel about 30 miles to come see her every two weeks. It is worth it and the few times I've tried another place they mess up my eyebrows therefore I am loyal to Noreen. I also love that she spends quality time on my brows right down to the trim, it's perfect and I'm always complimented on my brows. On days they are really busy I don't mind waiting because I know I will receive the same quality service the person before me received as well. Noreen also always remembers me and all the things I have shared with her, kind of like your hair dresser/therapist lol. I'm a guy, just walked in here to get my eyebrows threaded, and have been here too many times to count, and even though they have women in there doing brows and threading they're telling me they can't do any men today because none of them know how to do men. What is the difference between doing eyebrows on a man and a woman??? Men are actually easier because I don't need any shaping or anything...just a clean up around my existing eyebrows. Wasn't too thrilled when my eyebrow was too thin, especially when I asked for a clean up. Definitely, did not like being asked "if this was my first time, because my eyebrows were so hairy...." I was embarrassed as it was about my hairy eyebrows, I didn't want to hear about it by someone else and then dissatisfied about the result. Went here to get my entire face threaded. I needed a closer to my house place do I can just go on my way home. I'm so glad I looked on yelp and found Zia Threading. The lady that worked on me was very thorough and did a great job. I love threading more than waxing. I have sensitive skin and this has been the best. The ladies at Zia are great. There is nothing stellar about the customer service, but there is nothing awful either. A lot of women work here and most work limited hours so it is hard to plan around anyone's schedule. Fortunately, so far I have not had a bad experience seeing anyone there. I've been very happy with the results ever since I moved to the area. My only real complaint is I feel like the woman in charge (presumably the owner?) could be a little nicer to her staff. I understand some Hindi and overheard her giving one of the women a hard time about her face. She said that her being due for threading would make the clients uncomfortable. While I disagree, I guess I can see her point of view... however, I felt like she could've been MUCH nicer. I'd be mortified if anyone ever commented on my face that way. read more

Only go here if you want to get your eyebrows done. Most of their good reviews are for that service only! They don't spend more than 10minutes on you no matter what your service is! I got a full face threading for $30+ tip which wasn't satisfactory at all. She was literally playing the thread on my face and removed the hair superficially that I guarantee will grow back two days later! She was really rude, angry and almost ready to fight with me because​ I asked her to redo my face! I've been getting full face threading for so many years and I can accurately tell if my hair is getting removed in a proper way or if there is any hair left over on my skin by simply​ touching it. My full face service usually takes about 25-40 minutes whenever I go to other places but here she did it really fast and tried to prove to​ me that my face is done by giving me the mirror​ and telling me that my face is red so it's​ done! They need to wash and sanitize their hands before starting your service but I didn't see her doing it. I will never come back to this place again for a full face service. read more

I have definitely experienced better!! If you go here on a weekday after 5.00 pm you would have to wait for a minimum of an hour. The ladies keep talking to each other across the chairs while they are helping customers and to top it off they ask rude questions like why you dont do your eyebrows often . I dont think it is any of the lady's business when and why I do or do not do my eyebrows. All in all I dont know if I would go back. read more

My skin is super sensitive and would stay red for hours and hours after waxing. So my indian friend recommend me to do threading instead. My two experiences at Laguna Hills mall and Irvine Spectrum were not very good since I kept on getting nicks. I was going to give up all together on threading but I read on yelp that ZIA threading was excellent. I gave it a try and I am amazed how great it turned out. No more nicks! They do an amazing job here. They are very precise and take time on your eyebrows rather than the ziba threading in Costa Mesa. There has been a Couple of times where you have to sit and wait maybe 15 min but it's worth it if it's busy. Not to mention zia threading is $9 plus tip and Ziba in Costa Mesa is $11 plus tip. I usually go to Ziba Beauty to do my eyebrows but lately it has been an inconvenience since I live and work no where near one. So, I was looking for another eyebrow threading place near work and found Zia! Definite 5 stars!!! Some of the girls here are awesome. I have come here for a couple years and will come in based on when Meena is in because she always gets my eyebrows right. Today, however, is the second time I've HAD to get them done and she wasn't there. It was also the second time I have left unhappy with how my eyebrows turn out. The service in Laguna Hills and San Clemente has gone down hill. I've been going to both locations for years since they opened and the passed year with all the new employees every time I go I come out with no eyebrows. Every time my eyebrows get butchered I don't notice until I get home because they are so quick to put brow power on so it isn't noticeable and always push you to buy the power. While the wait was longer than anticipated, Meena worked her magic on my eyebrows making me disregard the time I spent in the lobby. I told her the areas I disliked, and she fixed them. She was thorough, and when finished, she rubbed rose water on my eyebrows to calm the skin around them. The price for threading my eyebrows and lips was $12, which is fair considering the amount of work they are required to do. I will definitely return. Shazia knows what she's doing and is extremely diligent. I've been a customer of the Laguna Woods location for over 4 years now, and have come across many eyebrow threaders but it's difficult to find one that's diligent enough. I have a lot of ingrown hair and she takes the time to remove every little piece of hair. She has also introduced me to a new waxing method for nose hair. I love this place! I have very light eyebrows and go here consistently to get them threaded and tinted. All of the ladies are welcoming and do a great job but I typically go to Farah. Farah takes her time to ensure the color is perfect and my eyebrows are nicely shaped. The prices are great and they have a punch card for return customers. read more
