Would leave 0 stars if I could. DO NOT go to Ziggis if you are anything other than white. I had the worst experience just me and my boyfriend came in the bartender did not greet us at all or say one word to us when we ordered our drinks. We paid to play pool and there was no white ball when I approached the bartender to let her know again she didn't say anything at all and handed me a white ball. When we left she chased us to the parking lot approached my car and asked for her white ball. She is an old white blonde lady who is clearly racist. She smelled like liquor and was drunk saw her drinking behind the bar. Not to mention we tipped her $10 for a crown and coke that was flat and still treated us this way! Today I was utterly disappointed on the news that I had received. A good friend of mine plays on the empire pool league for this bar. He has been telling me for months to come check it out. See him paly pool in on league night on Thursday's. He always says make sure If I come to bring at least a couple friends. We came last week and had a great time bought plenty of rounds at the bar. Me and my friends wanted to make it a weekly thing. But come to find out that the owner/ bartender Rachel says my friend can't play because he doesn't buy enough drinks. So what the guy takes playing in a league setting serious and doesn't like to get plastered while doing so is the one in the wrong here? He also doesn't drink incase anyone of his teammates does go overboard he makes sure they get home safely. I don't see how this is a bad thing. You would think that the place would be grateful for someone taking care for its patrons. It is just sad to see some people trying to punish people for doing the right thing. No good deed really does not go unpunished. Not to mention he takes the bus almost 2 hours each way just to be someone's Designated driver just in case. Something he doesn't like anyone to know about. Just shows the man's real character is all. It's really disturbing these times we live in when someone is trying to squeeze out a dollar or two out of one guy. I was having a pleasurable time, relaxing, laughing the bartender was friendly, kind and attentive...everyone was having such a wonderful time ... then it went to the most horrific experience...I sat in disbelief as this mad woman screeched into the parking lot entering the bar screaming and yelling in front of everyone... I find out she is the manager/owner! Disrespectful to her bartender yelling and screaming telling her personal business then assaulting a customer while yelling racist obscenities "get the Fuck away from me you Fucken wetback" were her words.....Clearly she had come to berate her bartender because once she was done yelling and screaming she turned and left. Everything went silent the fun was gone... NEVER WILL I EVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!!! I would never recommend this establishment to anyone!! I leave this message to the bartender you don't deserve to be treated that way I'm sure you could find a nicer respectable establishment to work at! I have met some of the best people a5 Ziggy's that have become good friends, including Rachel. I will continue to go to Ziggy's because of the drinks and the people. Well...For a dive bar in the industrial area they charge way too much for a bucket of domestic beer. $21is way too much when there is no reasonable draw to be there drinking. There are some real security issues there as well as customer safety after dark... I hope they address the safety issue first before anything else. The place is close to home and me and a few others wanted to go have a drink after a long work week and chill out. I guess the air-conditioning was broken because it was pretty hot inside and the fans the had to ate not helping any. We decided to make the best of it and order some beers that part was great the process and the options were good we added a shot and it was served warm not the best way to take a shot. The music on the jukebox was playing country the whole night and I didn't see one prison in the who was vibing to it. I asked the bartender how I can change it up to hear sobriety a little different she rudely said we'll you have to down load the app to change it and walked away. When we finally figured it out we heard one song come on that we selected that was it back to Country. Mind you we spend $25 to hear multiple songs so w weren't sure why none of the other songs were being played. As the evening went on we still didn't hear any muddy come on we decided to sit outside where it was much cooler and talk with a small group of people from the community. They shared with us that the bartender/owner was the one controlling the jukebox. I get she likes county but she should cater to her customers and not her own preference. $25 just to hear one song was outrageous.
