    Had a great time for my birthday! We were sat fast and were told a 90 min limit since we didn't have reservations no biggie. The food was great! We had the wings 8/10 and nachos 9/10 and drinks 10/10!! The vibes were good and our service (can't remember his name) he was awesome and gave me a free bday shot!

    We checked out their rooftop and there was a DJ playing and a photographer as well. There is a nice view of the mountains too! Only small bites were available, so we got the guacamole and ceviche. The food was fresh and flavorful. For drinks, my friend got a cocktail and I opted for the drinks in a tower. They weren't too sweet and very colorful! We went down to the restaurant, since we were still hungry and wanted something more substantial. Before heading down, the photographer gave us a free photo, but we ended buying two more printed ones. We sat out in the patio and shared a branzino. The fish was so delicious. Definitely a fun spot with friends or a date night if you're in the area!

    The inside of the restaurant is decorated very nice! It reminded us of Cabo. Very welcoming and comfortable. We went on a Sunday after church and we got lucky to get a table. They recommended making reservations fyi. We had the potato taquitos appetizer and it they were really good and crunchy. My wife had the Short Rib plate. The meat was very tender that it fell off the bone when I tried to cut it. It was very good. The green sauce on the meat was very spicy for us both. If you like spicy it may be ok for you. The Cole slaw was dry. It didn't have any dressing on it and the beans were ok. I had the Chicken Adobo that was over rice and small tomato's cut in half around the plate. The chicken was cooked well but it didn't have much flavor. Again the green sauce was really spicy for me and possibly overcame any flavor of the chicken. The rice underneath the chicken was good. We've never had Arroz con leche like this before. It was very good! We recommend it! Overall it was a good experience! Next time we will try the Mexican dishes.

    Great service, nice vibes, but I was let down by the food. We had a reservation for the rooftop and found out they only serve a limited version of their restaurant menu. We were really looking forward to their full menu and wish this was more clear on their website or during their reservation process. Nonetheless, we tried to make the most of our rooftop experience. Unfortunately, the ceviche we ordered had very stale chips and the chicken from the nachos was cold. Our waitress was very nice, but overall, it was not the best experience.

    The restaurant is located on the lobby level. When you check in, if you have reservations to the rooftop they guide you to the elevator and scan you up. Once you arrive at the rooftop, you check in again with the hostess on the left. There was music playing and a line at the bar when we were there on a Saturday. I was surprised that the rooftop food menu is very limited. There are only six items to choose from: guacamole, oysters, flatbread, nachos, ceviche, and wings. I ordered the nachos and oysters. The nachos were just okay, the chips were stale and the chicken was cold. The oysters were good! They were served with a Yuzu cucumber sauce that ended up being my favorite thing I tried. Our server mentioned it was her first time working on the rooftop, but she still did a good job and was attentive throughout the evening. Overall, the rooftop experience fell short for me because of the limited menu. Valet parking is $12

    Rooftop bar in the IE ( Rancho Cucamonga) was much needed and long over due. This place can be multifunctional for a family dinner, date night,or just drinks with the girls. Durango Cocina food menu was accommodating of all food preferences and everyone can find something on the menu. Vegan, and gluten free options. I ordered these food items Carne Tacos that was served with rice and beans, Guacamole, and Spinach Salad. For drink i ordered Cherry Blossom, Dusk til dawn, a woodford old fashion and a Tito Lychee Martini. I strongly recommend taking the rooftop option with outdoor seating. It's beautiful! Note - they do have valet parking that is 10$ or you can self park, self parking is very limited because of the location. Tell me what you think?!

    My husband and I went here for his birthday and while the rooftop happened to be closed due to wind, the inside, ambience is still quite romantic and date worthy. We went on a Saturday, and please that note, buffet brunch is the only thing that is served until 2 PM. We had no idea, so we got there at about 1:30 PM and had a cocktail while we waited for the regular menu to become available. We had the yellowtail crudo and the ahi tostada. Both were fantastic and honestly the best crudos had in a really long time. I had their version of a Caesar salad and I love the preparation and the toasted bread, but I really did not care for the dressing. It was just too far off for me. The food was really good. I would've preferred a longer braise on my short rib, but I enjoyed the sweet and savory taste of it. I'm not a huge bean person so I requested mashed potatoes instead and they accommodated. The churros for dessert were hot and fresh and delicious. As always, we order way too much food and so we definitely have leftovers that we will be enjoying. Finally, I'd like to add that the cocktails were very tasty. I love when they give a good stiff one that is a sleeper and not overwhelming as you're drinking.

    Went to Durango in Rancho Cucamonga for my dad's 89th birthday brunch, and it was a lovely place to celebrate such a special occasion. The decor was beautiful and created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made the brunch feel festive. The staff was kind, attentive, and made us feel welcomed throughout our visit. While the food was just okay, the overall experience was pleasant thanks to the nice ambiance and friendly service. A nice spot for a family brunch and special celebration.

    This is my second time going to this restaurant and once again I was very happy with my visit. I once again we splurged on our dinner (company Xmas dinner) and everything that was ordered was just amazing. The meat was tender, easy to cut , the salad was HUGE but was amazing. The staff was very well attentive and was very happy with the service. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and how lively it was. I will be coming back to enjoy the food !

    Met a few friends here. I showed up to the rooftop area to meet them, everything was immaculate! Lived the vibe, the music and the energy. It was very chill vibe. Met my friends who were already seated and had some drinks and guacamole already served to them. Our waiter, Jordan, was super attentive and asked if I wanted anything to drink as soon as I sat down. I love a good coconut drink and ordered the coconut cream dream. When you taste it, the name of the drink makes absolute sense. It was light, refreshing, and strong, definitely kinda drink! Jordan brought my drink to our table and asked if anyone else if they wanted anything. My friends order some food and I took a queue from them and ordered as well. They ordered the chicken wings, chicken nachos, and the pizza. The wings were seasoned and cooked to perfection! Tender and almost melt in your mouth. The chicken nachos were one of my favorites! The cheese and sauce on the nachos were absolutely devine! It was a great combination of cheesy and spicy, nothing overpowering just a nice kick. It was well balanced. The pizza was absolutely delicious, the crust was a great combination of light and airy with a great crunch! The cheese was definitely of quality, cheese pull for days! The sauce was really well balanced with some sweet and acidity. The pizza tasted and felt like it was homemade, everything carefully crafted and cooked with love. I ordered the oysters, wow! They come to you on an ice tray with a cucumber salad, well seasoned and dressed with a light sauce, it tasted almost pickled and was spicy! This one did have a decent kick if you aren't used to spicy things. It also came with two little bottles that had different sauces. One was a black colored sauce and one was an orange colored sauce. Each had their own uniqueness. One was smokey and the other was tangy. I'd advise putting a bit of the cucumber salad on top of the oyster and a few dabs of each on sauce on top, then adjust the amount of the sauce on the next oyster. Absolutely delicious! The food, the drinks, the service, and ambience were Chef's kiss all around. The rooftop is definitely great for gathering with friends/family or a romantic night out with something light to eat and drink. Thank you Durango Rooftop for a wonderful evening! Wish I had taken pictures of the food to share, it was such a great experience I forgot all about it!

    I tried a new breakfast spot with a friend this week -- Durango Cocina & Rooftop -- and overall it was a really nice experience. We went on a Monday morning around 9:00 AM, so it was very quiet at first, which I actually loved because we were able to pick exactly where we wanted to sit. The restaurant is inside the Sanctity Hotel, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful -- warm décor, stylish seating, and a really relaxing atmosphere. For food, I ordered the breakfast bowl which came with bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, black beans, and sourdough bread. My friend ordered the same thing plus waffles on the side. The food was good overall. My friend did mention her food -- especially the waffles -- could have been a little hotter. I felt the same about mine... good flavor, just not as warm as I would've liked. There was a small mix-up with our order because I accidentally received extra sausage (my friend had ordered extra). They apologized right away and brought her additional sausage -- and I still got to keep all my meat so that worked out! Now let me talk about the service -- our waitress Karen was fabulous. She had great customer service, checked on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed. She really made the experience pleasant. I also loved the little details -- they had a phone/coat charger stand right at the table which I thought was super convenient and unique. Only downside for me personally was the restroom setup. They were unisex restrooms, and both men and women wash hands together in the open sink area. I'm just not a fan of that layout -- but that's personal preference. Overall: * Beautiful restaurant & hotel * Relaxing brunch atmosphere * Good food (could've been hotter) * Excellent service from Karen * Unique table charging station Would I go back? Yes -- and I'd try something different on the menu next time.

    First, the rooftop has its own menu and is separate from the restaurant. Sadly, we really wanted to love this place! However, the service and food was mediocre at best. First, it is cute and esthetically pleasing. But, our food was LACKING. Our server started out attentive and disappeared at some point. Here's what we ordered: Sea bass tacos: 9/10 tacos amazing!!! Sides for tacos- Rice (6/10) black Beans (4/10) beans were undercooked and lacked flavor. When we told the server, he dismissed it and didn't bother offering a new set or different side. Taquitos: 7/10 nothing special and not worth the price for the small pieces given. Overall, prices were overpriced and not worth the quality nor hype. The service was lacking and definitely not motivating to come back.

    The restaurant is located inside the hotel. They have valet parking or a parking lot connected to a shopping center. I love rooftops so for my birthday decided to come here but upon reading yelp reviews seems their rooftop menu is limited so decided to eat at their main restaurant. The decor is nice. We tried a watermelon margaritas (I didn't taste watermelon but the husband liked it) and a cucumber mint spritz which I enjoyed. We also tried steak and eggs and fish tacos along with a side salad. The steak was very tender. All the food was delicious. The staff is very friendly. Ambience is great. Only drawback is thought they have something for celebrations since they ask on the reservation but in case you come to celebrate an occasion they don't offer anything.

    The rooftop itself is nice. The cocktails are nice. The food selections are terrible and I didn't enjoy my celebration there for my birthday.

Minus 2 stars for the lack of accountability, poor follow-up, and the time they wasted. They need to improve how they handle mistakes.
