Wow thankful Thursday is new to me, and there are a few businesses in Stockton I'm thankful for. Ziggys tho has been the most consistent business that I frequently visit. There are a lot of shops of this type in Stockton, but none of them come close to Ziggys! Their product selection is awesome, but more importantly is the staff. The owners Gus and Carlos lead by example and treat you like family and the rest of the staff follows that lead. It honestly reminds me of that "neighborhood market" we all grew up and had in our area. So next time you need these type of supplies go on down to Ziggys, and get treated right while buying the stuff you need. Gouged for a cheap product. I had to get a vape replacement battery because my heavy hitters one broke so I thought I'd swing by to check out the place. The guys that helped me were super friendly and helped me select a replacement. I'm not a vape enthusiast by any means so I asked for their advice and they suggested the E-Leaf Mini. I didn't really ask about prices as I don't mind spending a little more for a quality product and was hoping to get something a little more premium anyways but when I was rung up for $45 bucks, I thought man that's a bit high for just a battery, no? So anyways, I get home eager to unbox this fine machinery I just purchased only to find something that seems like a cheap 3rd party electronic from Wish. (Thin plastic and loose plastic buttons) I don't know a lot about vapes but electronics are my thing and so after a handful of videos and a bunch of online reviews (shout out fellow Research Rats!) I realized I spent about $50 on a $15-$20 battery (which seems in line with the build quality) It seems to work fine but it's just disappointing to feel like I got burned, especially by a small business (with great reviews too) I try to shop local as much as possible but I guess I'll have to stick to online retailers for my smoke accessories going forward.
