Steak Calzone

This location was very cool and the ambiance was great . Not too busy or over crowded. Loved being able to see the kitchen and watch the pizzas being made. Mia was our server and she was such a delight to work with. She got our food out very quickly and it was delicious. we have been longtime customers, and she informed us on how to make a specialty pizza into a calzone which we never knew. Enjoyed our dinner and will be back.

Cute place, service was decent if a little slow for not being very busy but I know staffing is always a concern. Food has changed from how it used to be so if you're revisiting from not being there for a few years be aware! Bruschetta no longer comes on a bed of green and the red sauce tastes different from how I remember it. They also no longer do the roasted potato side. We got the bruschetta and meatball hoagies with tater tots instead of the chips, and a couple fountain drinks which came to under $40 before tip. Food overall was good, just different from what I was expecting; the bruschetta could have had less dressing since there are no greens and the hoagies red sauce wasn't quite to my taste but I would order again knowing that. Overall would visit again despite the changes!

Food was great! Restaurant was really clean but not a lot of customers the night we went. I didn't know you could make any pizza into a calzone! That's my new cheat code for sure! Wait staff could have been more attentive seeing how the restaurant was almost empty. Food was good, we haven't been let down by a mellow mushroom yet.

Some colleagues and I met at this restaurant for lunch yesterday. It had been years since we'd seen each other so we decided to schedule a luncheon. We had reservations and were seated right away when we arrived. Our server was professional and patient with us as we waited for a couple more colleagues to arrive before ordering. We took that time to chitchat and get caught up. Once we ordered, our food came out in a timely fashion. We ordered a variety of dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered a chicken hoagie without mayonnaise and as usual I really enjoyed their hoagie. The restaurant was not packed, and the atmosphere was perfect for our catch-up. We had an enjoyable visit.

Ugh - this Mellow Mushroom was such a disaster. I came here with three other friends the night before the City of Oaks Marathon. We wanted a nice carby meal and made a reservation. We were seated quickly and were told it was going to be an hour for pizza which we were fine with. We weren't in a rush and understood that it was busy. We ordered an appetizer in the meantime. We got the spinach artichoke dip which was very good however it only comes with 8 baguette slices. 8 baguette slices is not enough as the dip portion itself is quite big. We ordered more toast points at an extra charge. I get that we're in an inflationary period but charging for extra bread is annoying. We also ordered salads to eat during the wait for our pizza. 30 min pass with no sign of our server or our salads. When we finally flagged our waitress we discovered that they lost our order for salads. The salads ended up coming out AFTER our pizza was served. The pizza itself was pretty good but the experience with our server will keep me from going back to this location. This location only has 2 female restrooms and most of their staff is female. I had to wait 10 minutes for a stall (I was the only one in line) because as it turns out 2 staff members were using their stalls (probably on break which is fine) but on their phones. I was annoyed that I lost time at my dinner needing to use the restroom which was occupied by staff. Get the staff a breakroom so they don't need to hog the restrooms.

Yikes, where do I begin. We placed an order for an appetizer and 2 medium pizzas at 6:20 and received our food (including appetizer) at 8pm. An hour and 40 min to wait for pizza might be ok but for an appetizer is unacceptable. When I finally got my pizza, it was made entirely wrong. I ordered mushrooms and olives on the entire pizza, but they oddly only put it on half, and most of my pizza was cheese. My pizza was very doughy and dry, so I asked for a side of marinara which appeared 40 min later after I finished eating. My friend's pizza toppings were well distributed but she mentioned that other locations definitely taste better. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed to be ignoring us the entire time. 100% would not return, the price I paid for this meal did not reflect the quality of the food or service

Pretzel bites & PBR beer cheese after we already started eating them!

Ask the Community - Mellow Mushroom Brier Creek

Is their outdoor patio pet-friendly?

My husband and I just went there to get a table and asked for an outside seat because we had our dog with us and they said they dont allow dogs.

When will this location open? Any word of a soft opening?

4/15 is the official opening. They are hosting mock runs/VIP now

We ordered the Chicago Dog, the Reuben Sandwich, and finished things off with a cannolo (yes, the singular form of cannoli). The Chicago Dog was delicious and loaded with flavor, although I have to admit the toxic-green relish initially threw me off a bit (see pic). Once I got past the visual shock, it was actually a fantastic hot dog that stayed true to its Chicago roots. The real star, though, was the Reuben Sandwich. At around $15, it was absolutely worth every penny. Generously stacked, perfectly toasted, and packed with tender meat, melty Swiss, tangy sauerkraut, and just the right amount of dressing. The cannolo was the perfect sweet ending to the meal -- crisp shell, creamy filling, and not overly sweet. What really stood out was how friendly everyone was. The staff made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be back... especially for those Thursday $5 draft beer specials. Apex locals, you've got a gem here.

I ordered mine on pressed focaccia bread and everything from the juicy crispy chicken to the parmesan cheese and toppings was top notch. Inside the shop was a classic deli where you order at the counter and then browse the various goods/merch while you wait. Service was fast and the sandwiches came out within 5 minutes of ordering. There are a couple picnic tables outside to sit and eat but other than that, mostly a to-go place. First timers: get the Uncle Primo's, you won't regret it!

Yelp told me this delicious sandwich shop was just 5 minutes away, which seemed like the perfect option. It was a hot summer day and I couldn't believe how many people were sitting outside in the heat. We got the last table in the air conditioned inside, which made me happy. We placed our orders at the counter: - The Jane for me - Pine Street Pimento for my daughter and a bag of chips (salt & vinegar for me) for both! We did the smaller size sandwiches which were still quite large, but we were quite hungry and finished them off. They were so good that I even thought about coming back for lunch the next day, but knew there were plenty of delicious restaurants in the area to try. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and the chicken cutlet sandwich (regular). The sticks were amazing with the sauce! The SS which bread was so fresh and soft as was the chicken cutlet. I wish it had more sauce and a little salt pepper vinegar splash would have gone a long way. A good sandwich but the most amazing or most flavorful sandwich I've ever had. We ordered four appetizers: elote Caesar salad, truffle gnocchi, kielbasa pizza and hummus. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and taste of the food. The pizza totally blew our minds and exceeded our expectations. Gnocchi was stuffed with potato and was so cheesy, we loved whatever they did with Caesar salad dressing. Hummus and pita was a hit and my daughter had just that for her dinner. For main course we ordered the shrimp and grits, blackberry salmon and BBQ chicken leg. Shrimp and grits brought all different kinds of flavours together beautifully, loved the dish so much. Blackberry salmon was a little disappointing since we dint really like the combination of blackberry gravy, also the whole dish was a little bland to an extent that we had to mix shrimp and grits gravy into it haha, totally depends on the taste preference though, Chicken dish was a little salty but tasted good. For dessert we got the sprinkle cake for the bday and we ordered their basque cheesecake. Hands down best basque cheesecake I have ever had, we finished all of it in no time. Extremely decadent. We also ordered their latte and expresso which were a perfect combination with the sweet desserts. The service was smooth and fast. He answered all our questions happily and also gave some complimentary pita bread for my daughter who loved hummus and pita. Overall a great dining experience. Highly recommended!!
