First time here... atmosphere is fine. It's nice to have options for late night dining or a place to hang. Food was ok, possibly some more fresh options or hand crafted plates. Service was SSSLLLOOOWWW. It felt like our server was not interested in serving tables. Even basic things like topping off our water, seemed like it took forever. He needed some training on etiquette, when our bill came he was hovering over us paying, it felt like being bullied to tip him a certain amount. Honestly the tip was forced, for the service we got it wasn't worth much of a tip. Then only after paying did we noticed charges that were never told to us while ordering. Why would a server not notify you if something is extra or an up charge? When we brought it to his attention he seemed to not care that we didn't know or that he didn't say anything, nor did he take the initiative to correct the problem. Management may need to spend some time on upping the servers game. Training is key to success. Meh experience. read more

The times I have visited, it has always been a good time. My friends and I can talk and enjoy the different specials they have through the week. The bar staff is always amazing! Levi is a fave and always a pleasure to talk with. I haven't tried much food here yet but Ill get to try more from there sometime. All that I have had was The flatbread, it was ok. I ordered another drink and it was the same thing. Food was brought without sides/dressing had to wait a while for everything to be in order. Finally started eating and realized 3/4 way that my BLT-A was missing my avocado. Management said oh well there is nothing the could do and did not provide a discount. I would not recommend. Visited Bar Louie on a Saturday after a burger spot in Brier Creek was closed at 11p. This was a great option as it was in close proximity , has good wings, decent cocktail variety and good service. We were told we are only allowed to stay two hours and after that we are required to spend an additional $60 an hour to stay and watch the live DJ per hour, I've need been at a restaurant sitting at a table that you had to start a tab with a car before even ordering and the food was blahh. I do not recommend this place. We went over lunch in hopes that the restaurant wouldn't be too busy, so we'd have attentive waiters and faster service. We also sat at the bar. It took 35 minutes to receive our order and then when we got it, it was wrong because the waiter wasn't listening when we ordered so we had to send it back to the kitchen to have the onion removed and the bacon added. I guess she was too busy joking about us not ordering a cocktail at lunch. I don't even understand why she felt the need to say a joke about drinking in the middle of the day on a Friday. Just unnecessary really. I ordered a Louie's cheeseburger because I thought it would be a staple and they'd know how to make it but after one bite, I was finished. The burger was not good. Came here for a drink and to watch a football playoff game. The bar definitely has an upper class feel to it, very nice. Can't speak to the food on the menu (although it looked good) but they have an extensive selection of draft beers. Our waitress was very nice and checked in regularly.
