BD's has become one of my favorite burger joints in the triangle, it's at least in the Top 2. I find the quality to be pretty consistent regardless of what location I visit. This was my first visit at this one; we took two seats at the bar in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Both the dining room and bar were still quite crowded. It took a little time for the bartender to clean the bar area, but we took our seats once that was taken care of. The bacon cheeseburger on steroids is not to be missed, especially if you're depressed. Da burger, three pieces of jalapeño bacon, three pieces of smoked bacon, Monterey Jack, bacon mayo, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion & pickles. The only thing missing...the angels singing in the background. And don't overlook the Emilio's chicken sandwich, it's a gem. A crispy fried chicken breast topped with fresh mozz, jalapeño bacon, poblano mayo, guacamole, shredded iceberg, tomato & red onion (just need pickles on the side!). The fries are hand-cut, always a major positive. I do wish they had honey mustard for dipping purposes. But the BDs sauce is still fine. The food is good here my burger was a little too salty for my taste. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The only compliant was how incredibly frigid this place was. The only burger chain that treats each burger like a steakhouse treats each steak, while exploiting the broadly untapped toppings pool for such a sandwich. After moving for a few hours to a third floor apartment, calories do not count, right? So I decided to order their mushroom and Swiss burger with tater tots to go. I should've put it down for a later pick-up time, but when I finally got to eat it did not matter as it was still amazing. The cheese was gooey, the mushrooms soft, but not super chewy, and the burger patty was cooked just right. Omg! I love too that they give you an ample amount of food for the price. I was able to get another much needed meal out of my burger, and again, even a little cold, it was still amazing. I think next time around I will get a little less sauce as they do load it on! The deviled eggs tasted great, with a kick from the peppers on top and the burger was exceptional, apart from how moist the patty was! I really should have had them overcook it to reduce the amount of liquid that poured out, over the lettuce and on to my plate. There was a good spice to it, but not spicy enough to run off someone who likes just a little heat... but not too much it was a really good flavor. Burgers are on the higher side, but not terrible. The Tuffle fries were amazing, and this salt-a-holic didn't need to add more salt... and the garlic... yum! We also got the fried cheese, and it was stringy gooey goodness, and the marinara appeared homemade looking at the chunkiness. The alcoholic beverages were very reasonably priced, which was a refreshing change. The Chunky Elvis shake is a must-have if you like peanut butter and chocolate. Took a while for our order to arrive (30 min) and immediately I noticed bacon on mine. Being vegetarian, I asked for the waitress to have it remade, and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. My friends were almost finished eating and my burger still hadn't arrived (it had been around 30 more minutes) so we flagged down a waitress who was incredibly rude and told us to wait patiently. When my food finally arrived, it was cold and obvious that it was made a while ago and was just sitting around. The burger was decent, could've been better if it was hot. Same with the fries. The cookies and cream shake was great. This terrible experience was made better Jessica, who finally offered a genuine apology. She was kind and understanding and brought us shakes right away. The Service was terrible on Valentine's Day 2026 and the restaurant was not crowded at 5:30PM. No one checked on us for 55 minutes. The drinks showed up 57 minutes later. The manager came over and asked if we had a server. We said we had two different servers and we have had a long wait for the food. The food showed up one hour an thirty minutes later ( Yes, 1 Hour 30 minutes). This location has always been a go to burger joint. This past time I ordered on their website for pickup and it said ready for pickup at 7:10. I arrived and waited until 7:40 for my single burger. I do like my sauces on the side to keep things fresher till arriving home and found that only 1 of the 2 was packed. Overall very underwhelmed and is making me rethink going back. Definitely won't order again online. There is a surcharge that is not disclosed and when contacting grub hub about the experience they said I ordered through a 3rd party (directly off website) so they couldn't help me! Been to Bad Daddy's a couple times now and I love their veggie burgers! The black bean burger always tastes good and with a side of tots is heavenly. I love their selection of sauces you can add to the burger or as a side to dip the tots in. Be prepared to be very full afterwards. As a vegetarian I like to customize my own burger and I have always felt like there are lots of different combinations. Atmosphere is pretty nice as well. Our waitress was also awesome and friendly. I will say the bathroom was pretty dirty and the only thing I would change about this location. Overall, great place for burgers and would recommend getting a burger here. Service is very friendly and attentive. Food is mediocre and lacking attention to deal by kitchen staff. My wife and I started with the wings and "chopped(lol)" Greek salad. The wings were good and the cropped salad had massive pieces of lettuce which made me laugh as they called it chopped...haha! The burger was a good portion but the kitchen did not use any salt & pepper along with leaving off the cheddar cheese I ordered and should let some grease drain off before placing on the bun...unfortunately by the time they added the cheese they had forgotten, the bun was soaked through and nasty. It's an easy fix, just put the burger on a wire baking rack for 15/30 seconds while the bun toasts and your back in business with a much better product for customers. All in all I've had worst but also much better. If you don't drain the grease then at minimum toast the bun so it can stand up through the actual consumption portion of the meal. A little fine tuning in execution and the place could be a whole lot better. If the menu states "cropped" please make everything chopped and not just the onion and tomato...smh! read more
