    Small Greek salad
    Stu F.

I ordered a small Greek salad and gyro samwich. No French fries here but the quality of the food served was excellent. Big flaky chucks of feta in a fresh fresh salad all topped with a creamy Greek dressing that was very tasty! Also a spin of the traditional gyro with a thinner pita slightly toasted and presented as a wrap. Really tasty! The meat was tender and not salty. The sauce was bold and and thin pita was a perfect blend! Really a great experience!

We were out and about running errands, and we were in the Maumee/Perrysburg area. It was dinner time, and like most times, I defer to Yelp! when we are not too sure which local dining establishment to choose. We decided on Mediterranean cuisine as it has quickly become one of our faves. Zingo's was close by, we have never been before, so we decided to give it a shot. This is not a sit down restaurant with table service. You order and pay at the time you place your order - somewhat of a fast food Mediterranean spot. Since this was our first time at Zingo's, we ordered a family style dinner for 2 at $38. This included a choice of salad, 2 entrees, and a side. We went with Greek Salad, chicken tawook, feta chicken, and hummus. The food was ok, nothing to write home about, especially given the price paid and the portion sizes. Maybe we have been spoiled by another Mediterranean restaurant in Holland at the Spring Meadows Shopping Center as their food is crazy good and comparatively inexpensive verses Zingo's. Sadly, Zingo's missed the mark for us.

Great spot near waterfront (free parking near park), friendly greeting by staff - indoor and outdoor seating. Nice, spacious and clean. Ordering was easy, pay, take a number, find a table. They bring out to you when ready. Started with sampler, delicious and almost an entire meal by itself (perfect starter) it had a little bit of everything and all of it was good. The main course was the Gyro (Original) Zingo style- I can say without any hesitation, one of the best decisions yet, it was amazing. Grilled and rolled, with a flavor unmatched. I was truly impressed, due to the sampler, I had to take half with us. I ate hours later & it was still amazing. When in Perrysburg, or anywhere close - Do not miss - definitely will be back !!!

My first visit to Zingos Mediterranean in Perrysburg started out great. My salad was very flavorful the chicken was grilled perfect with a wonderful dressing on the side. The staff were also fantastic. Matter of fact I thought I'm going to take home their Feta salsa since I was so impressed with the food atmosphere and staff. I ordered 16 oz to go. This is what it looked like when I got home. Less than 10oz. Very disappointing. I will go back and hope this doesn't happen again!

We enjoy dining here while visiting our daughter at BGSU. Fresh ingredients and courteous staff in a beautiful historic neighborhood. And baklava.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday and the place was super busy. We took this as a good sign of the quality of food. You place your order at the counter and then seat yourself; we chose outside, because the inside was packed. They told us it would be a 20 minute wait for the food, and I have to say they were spot on! It was kind of nice because this gave us some time to explore around the park and shops on the street. As for the food we ordered the chicken gyro, original gyro, chicken tawook, and Greek chicken. The chicken gyro was Zingo style which made it a nice little burrito and easier to eat. Although I will say that there may have been too much cucumber sauce that piled to the ends of the wrap. The chicken tawook had good flavor, but could use a little more moisture in it and there was a little leaking out the back since we did the Zingo style. The Greek chicken and original gyro were on soft pita and they were huge. It kind of looked like the same pita they used for the Zingo style except not wrapped. The meat was thickly sliced and it was nice that the pita was so large that the toppings didn't fall out everywhere. The fun surprise was that the sandwiches all came with pita chips. We could have used a dip for them, but the chips themselves were nice and crunchy without having a salt overload. Overall, pretty good food and it made for the perfect roadtrip stop. Where you will be full with the meal, but not feeling gross after eating it. We might have to add it to the road trip rotation stop.

This is a SIDE Greek salad with a lotta yum!

Zingo's is a local favorite for all those who love Mediterranean food in downtown Perrysburg. You can also check out their location in Toledo if that's better for you. In the summer, we like to go early on Thursday nights and then shop around for the farmer's market happening all around downtown. For the adults, you'd "feta" get the pick-a-pair for only $9.75 if you are looking for the perfect pair of delicious and value. You can choose a full-sized sandwich and a side (like a salad) or a full-sized salad and a side. Our kids love their $6 meal options, especially the mini Zingo-style gyro and hummus! And you wouldn't be a kid if you passed on a fruit smoothie for a $1 more with their kids meal. If you all still have room, grab a dessert...Baklava if you want to stick with the theme, but my personal fav is the carrot cupcake located in the cooler to the left when you go inside.

The food is great and always consistent. We frequent Zingo's often. Only issue is the lack of parking at times.

Is this a kid-friendly atmosphere? Have anyones kids liked it?

I don't have kids, but I think it's a kid friendly atmosphere. There were plenty of families with their children the time I went :) I hope that helps!

While I did not experience the ambiance at Grape Leaf Diner today, I can say from a past visit that the atmosphere is clean, bright with lots of windows, and with comfortable chairs and booths. The restaurant is located near or within a small strip mall at the Holland, OH location. (The Grape Leaf Express location in Toledo, OH located on Monroe St near Franklin Park Mall is also in a strip mall.) The food ordered today included chicken shawarma, yellow rice with vegetables (green beans, corn and peas), hummus, pita bread, and a Greek salad. There was also a dish of grilled vegetables that included squash and zucchini. While I didn't want to be rude and photograph food in the middle of the party, I took some screenshots posted by the restaurant to give you an idea of the food presentation. The salad ingredients were very fresh and delicious. Hummus was perfectly flavored. I always wish that Mediterranean rice had more vegetables, though it was delicious. I found the chicken shawarma a bit salty, but I'm salt-sensitive, so most people probably would love it; the meat was lean. As for the zucchini and squash vegetables, they looked delicious but we didn't have plastic knives, and I couldn't manage to cut them or eat them with the plastic forks. It was a beautiful presentation and I recommend that you give this restaurant a try! A tip for summer weather: the A/C was cranked up high when I was last there... maybe bring a jacket or sweater if you tend to run cold.

Manos is a Toledo institution…read more There are certain items on Mano's menu that I cannot find anywhere else, and frankly I don't want to. The baked feta... a 1/3 brick of feta broiled with red pepper flakes and olive oil is hands down my favorite way to eat this flavorful cheese. The fact that they use GOOD feta goes a long way to making this a delicious way to start a meal. Spread on bread or pita, it's divine. For me, the go-to entree is the patio platter. I get mine without rice, which means the plate is piled high with green beans, fresh tomatoes, green peppers and Manos' consistently absurdly strong white onions. The sliced sausage is strongly flavored and goes great with the veggies. I've had it more times than practically any other food item in the city of Toledo. All of Manos' vegetarian dishes are sure to please. I love his Spanakopita. Mushier than you may find elsewhere, but it's still delicious. To that point, most dishes feel homemade. Presentation changes based on the day of the week, as does preparation. Same as you'd find at home. The service is always friendly, and if you're lucky enough to get one of the old school waitresses, you're in for some stories if you engage them right. Super friendly even on busy nights, they aim to please. I've been eating at Manos for basically my entire food conscious life and while yes, I've had better greek food elsewhere, there are certain items on Mano's menu that I think are perfect. Combine them with a classic atmosphere, and a lovely patio in the summertime and you have one of my favorite, constant "go to" restaurants in the city of toledo. Not looking for a sit-down meal, and thirsty for some drinks? Head upstairs to the "Attic" bar. They offer the full Manos menu, plus a full bar and friendly service.
