Recently I was in Addison, Il the home of the Blazers. I stopped at a little place called Zio Tony's Pizza at 613 West Lake Street, Addison, Il. to try out their pizza. They have a Jumbo Cheese Pizza Slice and Drink Special for just under $4.00 dollars. This little take-out and delivery place was voted to have the best cheese pizza the best pizza sauce and other honors at the Village of Addison Judges Choice Awards. I found the jumbo slice of thin crust cheese pizza very good. The establishment by all means, is a store shop business. However, they do have a small table set up inside the shop and on the outside. As one enters the shop they can't take notice of the numerous photographs of their Italian gourmet dishes on the West wall. The word on the street is their Italian prepared food is excellent. In the past I tried one dozen of their baked clams which were awesome. I learned their recipes were handed down and associated with the original Venuttis Restaurant, that was located on North Ave, in Villa Park, Il. After I had their pizza I tried their Italian Beef sandwich. It was served on lightly toasted Italian Bread which really added to the favor. Zio Tony's is known for their Meal Deals and coupons. If a customer saves 10 or more menus or receipts they earn $6.00 for any purchase. I feel that little incentive is a great customer service move. They specialize in take-out, delivery and will cater any special event. They offer menu specials Monday through Sunday. On Sunday they have a " Sunday Family Special" which includes a bucket of spaghetti or Mastaccioli with Meatballs and Sausage for $16.00. It serves 4 to 8 people. One of their best Meal Deals, is the $20.99 , 18'' party pizza, with 2 liters of RC or 7Up and two sides...Yummy Deal. The menu at Zio Tony's includes appetizers, Pasta, Entrees, Chicken, Ribs, Sides, Dinners, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, and their signature pizza. Their pizza favorites are, thin crust, pan, stiffed and Panzarotti. They also have an 8" personal pizza. Some of their types of pizza prepare are, the Southwestern, Basil, Meat Lovers, Hawaiian, Margarita, Mexican and Vegetarian. I found the service great, the food good and the prices very reasonable in this hard economic times. I give Zio Tony's Pizza , FOUR STARS. Take a good slice out of life with Zio Tony's Pizza.

For the prize, you sure got a lot of food, the quality was great but definitely not a 5/5 and the owner was very very polite.

My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with Angel hair pasta and he wanted vodka sauce on everything. When he got his order, it came with vodka sauce only on the pasta and the chicken was in a separate container with a tomato sauce. He was able to try both sauces so that was good but he really wanted just the vodka sauce. It came with a piece of bread, which was really great too. I ordered the Sunday stuffed shells with cheese if you're craving cheese, this is what you want to order. Mine also came with bread. I don't eat tomato sauce so they substituted Alfredo sauce and it was delicious. The dining room was very small. They only fit maybe 3 to 4 tables in there. Unfortunately they have a table with empty pizza boxes and other supplies that really should be put somewhere else. I would not recommend dining in. The food was served in takeout containers. Everybody was nice there so it's definitely a place will come back next time. We're gonna try the pizza. She says the wings are also great and highly recommended..

Their pizza sauce is when I come back cause it's so good that it even won the local city as best pizza and best sauce. We usually order extra thin well done sausage and mushrooms sometimes with like olives. Or pepperoni and cheese. They're veggie basket and mushroom basket are also tasty I've ordered a couple of their other dishes like chicken, wings, and pasta. They are also good, but I'm mainly here for the pizza. They cut up their pizza tavern style yes squares. They also do catering here. You can also eat in as they have tables and flat screen tvs to watch. And I like the staff, they are friendly and they're quick and polite overall a great experience, especially when you found your local pizza joint. You don't want to go to any anyone else.

I love that it's family friendly but it's a place you can come and have food with friends as well. The place is huge inside! Lots of parking too. Love it.

A security guard pulled me aside and told me no, actually, I wasn't allowed to be wearing this here. When I asked to speak to the manager, he concurred. Not acceptable. There was a certain irony in the manager's delivery of this judgment while his own nipples were protruding, obscene, through his too-thin pink shirt. At about 270lbs (and not carrying it well), his shirt was the only thin thing about him. Hopefully when Pyramids reforms their dress code, they'll start by making him wear a bra. Until this place spends more time cleaning their filthy bathrooms instead of worrying about my arms, I won't be returning. One star.

I went with the calzone, which was baked to perfection, golden on the outside, and absolutely stuffed with ingredients. Every bite was hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. My wife ordered the eggplant Parmesan, which was not only delicious but huge. Seriously generous portion, perfectly cooked eggplant, and rich, comforting flavors throughout. But the real surprise, and the star of the show, was the cream of zucchini soup that came with her dinner. Neither of us had ever tried it before, and it completely blew us away. Easily one of the best soups we've had in a long time: creamy, flavorful, and insanely comforting. From portion sizes to quality to unexpected standouts, Marino's delivered across the board.
