I've been coming here on and off since 2017. Its a bit of a drive from where I live. I visited most often for carryout pizza during the pandemic and really liked their pizza. After the pandemic it seemed to taste not as good, just average. So I stopped coming here. Last visit before tonight was some time in 2023. It was excessively salty and sauce nothing like I remembered. Tonight, 01/02/26 I came back for dine in irdering tge same puzza: thin crust cheese and sausage. It was simply divine! The crust tastes better than ever, sayce as goid as it used to be, and not overly salty like in 2023. Great service and ambiance, thats never changed here in my experience. read more

Longtime Customer -- Disrespectful and Unacceptable Experience I have been a loyal customer of Aurelio's for well over 10 years, and I have always enjoyed their pizza. I now live approximately 45-55 minutes away, but I continue to make the drive because I have been a longtime customer and genuinely enjoy their food. A couple of weeks ago, I placed my usual pizza order over the phone. Because I was driving such a long distance, I specifically explained that I wanted my pizza well done, but not burnt. This is something I have communicated to them before, and they know how I normally order my pizza. When I arrived after work and opened the box, the pizza was clearly overcooked and burnt to the point that I could not eat it. I calmly explained this and asked how long it would take to make another pizza. The employee who initially assisted me closed the box, pushed it to the side, and told me he did not know how long it would take. I then asked to speak with a manager. Another employee came over and claimed that he was the manager. I knew this was not the case because I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years and am familiar with the management. I asked to speak with a higher manager. Before the actual manager came over, this employee also told me that I was not getting another pizza and made comments indicating that it was my problem. I found his behavior extremely disrespectful. Eventually, an actual manager came over. I explained what happened, and after another 15-20 minutes, my replacement pizza was prepared correctly. I also reported to the manager what the employee had said and that he had represented himself as a manager when he was not. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I later called back and asked to speak with Vito, the OWNER and MANAGER and or his wife who I have known from my many years of patronizing the restaurant. I was told he would be back Monday. When I called again, I received conflicting information about when he would be available. During one call, I was placed on hold and could hear employees laughing and talking in the background. Another employee eventually came on the phone, was extremely rude, raised his voice at me, and told me I was not going to speak with anyone other than him. At that point, I ended the call. I then located the company's corporate contact information and spoke with a representative. I was apologized to and specifically told that Vito would receive my message and contact me regarding the situation. No one ever contacted me. It has now been several weeks, and I am still waiting for the promised call. After more than a decade of being a loyal customer, I found this entire experience to be disrespectful and unacceptable. I drove nearly an hour to pick up an order I had specifically planned and requested, only to receive a pizza I could not eat, spend additional time waiting for a replacement, and then spend days trying to get someone in management to properly address how I was treated. To make matters worse, after I went out of my way to locate corporate contact information and was specifically promised that Vito would contact me, I never received that call. Mistakes with food orders can happen. That is not what bothers me most. What bothers me is the way I was treated afterward--the employee falsely representing himself as a manager, the disrespectful comments, the difficulty getting someone in management to address my concern, and the complete lack of follow-through. After more than 10 years of supporting this business, I expected to be treated with basic respect and accountability. Instead, my time, loyalty, and concern were treated as though they did not matter. The pizza was eventually corrected, but the way I was treated and the failure to follow up are what ultimately caused me to lose trust in a business I had supported for more than a decade. After more than 10 years of being a loyal customer, I will no longer be supporting this business. This experience has caused them to lose a longtime customer. read more

I recently tried Aurelio's and LOVED it. I strictly ate it for carry out and can't speak to the prices, services, ordering platform, etc. I tried 4 different pizzas - cheese, olives and sausage, pepperoni and mushroom and an italian beef pizza. My fiance said his favorite was the olives and sausage pizza and mine was cheese. I enjoyed all of them, but a great cheese pizza just hits the spot for me. The crust is different compared to what I'm used to and in the best way possible. It was crispy, flavorful and thin-ish and not overly thin or overly thick. I'm also big fan of pizza spots with specialty pies and they got em here! The italian beef pizza was fun and enjoyable with lots of flavor. I'm looking forward to trying out more options from Aurelio's in the future. read more

Having lived in Schaumburg for almost a year now, I have to say...there just isn't any good pizza in this town. My wife had a pizza craving and we used to frequent Aurelio's in the city, so we decided to try out this location. It's a little tricky to find, but not too bad. They have a nice looking patio out back I want to check out when it's nicer out. We came on New Year's Eve and while there wasn't a wait to be seated, our waitress let us know the kitchen was a little backed up which made sense. We split a pitcher of beer to celebrate, ordered some fried mushrooms as an app, and a large combination pizza (sausage/mushroom/peppers/onion) with the intention of bringing home the leftovers. The beers and the mushrooms, along with writing our end-of-year Instagram posts helped pass the time, and before we knew it the pizza was out. I sacrificed my beloved corner pieces to my son, but even then I really liked that the pizza had a good amount of toppings and that the crust wasn't soggy. The only gripe was even though we planned to take home leftovers, there weren't a lot left. Maybe the beer made us hungrier than normal but it was a little pricier than we expected. We Have loved Aurelio's for a very long time . Today I was disappointed in the service and quality of the food . My 3 year old toddler found a piece of metal from the metal pot scrubber in his mostaccioli. I received an apology from a busboy & not from a Manager or Supervisor which I think is very Carless and unprofessional. If my child would have swallowed it, it definitely would've been a bigger problem than just a bad review. Accidents happen and I understand but how it was handled is very disappointing. read more

My boyfriend lost his wallet here and they said that they didn't have it so then my boyfriend wouldn't ask couple of the customers that they had seen a wallet cause he just had cash check and he wanted to make sure that it didn't get left behind. Well the customer service the road, please making my customers upset, blah, blah, blah, blah blah blah, and they also charge a surcharge And ask for double tipping which is not right. I go to his AA meetings with him and eat supper from him and they're always charging me like I'm a part of his party which is not right stay clear our food sucks. Big time. First had this pizza at my daughters birthday party at LazerX next door. Thought it was great and new we needed to come back. Host and waitress were very friendly. Went on a Sunday evening so it was not very busy so we got our food pretty quickly. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The interior is larger than expected, clean and nicely decorated. I think it is terrible that you add a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. After I paid at the take out register, I noticed a sign off to the side stating this surcharge, but the cashier did not warn me about this charge which was not posted clearly. It's shameful that you do this to your loyal customers. I'll have second thoughts about returning. read more

I really enjoyed this experience. The pizza was one of the best thin crust around. Like a mix of Detroit style with the tavern thin. Sauce was phenomenal and toppings were well proportional and fresh. Friendly staff for just a carryout. Top 5 pizza joint in Chicagoland and Top 3 for the Chicagoland chains. I first had this pizza at my job. When my husband wanted pizza I wanted pizza that didn't upset my stomach and I've generally had good experiences with this pizza I suggested we try this place. Luckily they delivered to our area AND my husband LOVED the Hawaiian pizza we ordered. Delivery was quicker than I was originally told. They also have an app (which I downloaded, naturally). Ordered 2 thin crust pizzas! Best pizza I've had in a while! Moved to Addison and I know where I will be ordering pizza from now on. The sauce and cheese ratio are perfect. Got the chopped salad w cucmbrs, blk olives, radishes & red onion--enough for 2 w /leftovers, very fresh & tasty. Ordered Large PIZZA perfect thin crust w sausage, mush n onion. Their sauce is what sets them apart -a bit sweeter and very well balanced all over. Brought home plenty of leftovers (that's how we like it). Oh and all the food came out on time. This was due to an amazing Server -thank you Marlen for your super attentive check-ins, very professional and you made us want to return to this location, really friendly!
