Did the bib package. We started our hike up the narrows at 7:30am with an outside temp of 25 degrees and a water temp of 36. Zion Guru's Bib package keep both my wife and I warm and dry for the whole hike. They were very friendly and helpful! Don't go anywhere else to rent your narrows gear! read more

Zion Guru - Zion Guru's Bib package - Bike Rentals Near Me - Springdale, Utah

Pick up and drop off of gear was very easy and staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

Anyone who goes the Narrows without renting boots, wetsuit socks and the stick at a minimum is just plain crazy. We even rent the dry pants because the water is so cold even in early fall- totally worth it! For 2 people you will pay about $80 total and worth every penny! We rented the water proof back pack too but didn't need that- we didn't make back in far enough to the part where you have to swim a bit. Zion Guru has all the gear right Tere in Springdale super convenient and nice staff. Walk you through the trails and what to expect in the water with tips and tricks. It's crazy muddy in areas, rocks are big, water is rushing and having that support of the boots and stick was huge! My only knock down of 1 Star is they are great at the rental and suiting up part, but when we returned we were left on the patio to un-suit on our own with no instructions on where to put anything or any help (after hiking 13 miles in the narrows) we were exhausted. Just wish they had been as helpful on the back end as they were in the front end. read more

We, a family of 4 with two young-adult children, had a wonderful experience canyoneering. Our guide gave us a very high confidence level for doing something that was new to us. The views, hike, and repels were more than we'd hoped for. It was a great way to experience the beauty that Springdale-Zion has to offer. read more

Awesome staff who helped us think through the details and gear needed for a winter narrows hike. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our day in Zion, we had 2 of our own bikes, rented 2 additional. Very easy online booking only a day prior, friendly and welcoming staff. Park before your rent, they only offer quick 30 min parking by their shop. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Friendly staff and very easy process! We walked in without a reservation and were taken care of quickly (in November, might be different in peak season). We watched a quick safety video and were off quickly. The ride into the park is a few minutes. We took the shuttle from our hotel to stop 5 then walked back just a bit to this place. Also easy to drop off at the end of the day! read more

Everything worked as planned and promised. The dry bibs/boots we rented were all in good shape and we enjoyed our hike through the Narrows. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - overall wonderful experience. I, unreservedly, recommend Zion Guru. read more

Recently took a trip to Zion National Park with my family for a few days and we were recommended this gear shop in town because of their family friendly bike selection. We ended up getting our gear for the Narrows here as well. The gear worked perfectly and we had an excellent time hiking with our 10 year old daughter. We also biked through the park on another day. We got a regular bike and one with a long bench seat so my husband could take my daughter and she wouldn't tire out. Service was excellent! All their recommendations and advice worked out perfectly and we had a blast because we were well prepared for each adventure. Thanks Zion Guru!!! read more

Choose Zion Guru, you will be glad you did. Read the gear descriptions & ask questions! Zion Guru bibs & booties are fully integrated dry suits, your feet will stay DRY!!! Unlike wetsuit types where your feet will be warm & insulated, but very WET. The gear was comfortable, kept us warm & dry, and helped us navigate the narrows with ease. The staff are friendly and accommodating, highly recommend. read more

We booked a Half Day Elevated Canyoneering Tour. Our guide was Rob, we had a great time. We rappeled down multiple Canyons, with the highest one being near 100 feet. We got way more than I expected out of the Half day. Rob made us feel comfortable and safe with whatever we were doing. Next time I'm in the area I'll be booking a Full Day. Cheers! read more

We had such an amazing time canyoneering with Zion Guru! our guides were absolutely incredible!!! Pierce & Chris were TOP NOTCH professionals the whole way; they were insanely patient & calming with our group of mostly beginners & they also made it super duper fun! Honestly we could not have asked for a better trip or better guides...it was all fantastic! Definitely book a trip w these guys! Oh, AND they went out of their way to not only (1) book a trip for us last minute but (2) then find another guide so we could add 2 more family members to our group. Thank you Zion Guru, Pierce & Chris for an incredible experience!!! read more

Rented the dry pants package for the narrows hike in late October (~50 degree water temp). We picked it up the night before our hike so we wouldn't have to waste any time getting fitted/waiting in line. They were great to recommend what we should need and didn't try to oversell us. The rentals are definitely worth it. Stayed dry and warm through the whole hike. Even if it's not absolutely necessary it'll make your hike way more pleasant. read more

Quick easy and helpful! Check in is quick, view a short video and you're on your way. Great option for both e-bikes and the narrows gear!

Zion gurus is highly responsive and great communicators. We had never done a 1/2 day cayoneering adventure. When I signed up I didn't realize my husband was afraid of heights. He has had a knee and 2 hips replaced. He was challenged but in a good way. We all were and had some good laughs and some what the heck moments. Steve was awesome! read more

Very easy to rent the equipment to hike the Narrows. They were flexible and knowledgeable about the hike. Right next to the La Quinta so really easy if staying there. read more

The folks here know Zion. They gave us hikes we could do both days we were at Zion. We hiked the narrows when it was still cold and faster moving water. We rented the waders with the waterproof socks (can't remember the name of them), shoes and poles. They made sure everything was the right fit and allowed us to get them the afternoon before our hike which was a huge bonus! There is no way we would've made the 2ish miles in without the gear. We didn't fall and appreciated the warmth of the gear. We are looking forward to a return trip! read more

Amazing experience, wonderful stuffs, great guide! Can't wait to be back! They are also honest! What they said that could happen, actually happened. What they said that wouldn't happen, wouldn't! My wife and I were wrapping up our 2 week Utah NP trip at Zion for a few days and were disappointed with the overall parking situation in Springdale and how difficult it was to catch a shuttle to go into the canyon. We decided to rent some ebikes and thought we would just ride on the local paved trail that ran along the river. To our pleasant surprise, we rented our ebikes at Zion Guru and were thrilled to find out we could ride the bikes up the canyon to the other hiking trails. Our overall experience with Zion Guru was excellent and I commented to my wife how good their attention to detail and customer service was. We would highly recommend renting from Zion Guru for any of your hiking/biking needs when at Zion NP. read more

What a great outfitting and guide!!! We had such a blast hiking The Narrows with Carla! Not only did we get a great history and geography lesson, but she knew where the sinkholes were and taught you how to hike up a river in our rented equipment ; BUT THEN, she also can't help herself and cleaned up all the trash as we hiked, properly a great human who was great fun while we hiked up a river. It's really a great way to spend your life in your time on this earth... and always ASK FOR CARLA!!!!!!! read more

We found the customer service to be great at Zion Guru. The staff was friendly and even reminded everyone inside that the eclipse was happening and shared the special glasses. We rented the dry bib package for the Narrows hike and we were so grateful the socks were attached to the bibs and we stayed dry. The boots were quite comfortable and worked out well. We were extremely grateful for the walking stick which became a much necessary accessory on this hike. We ran into people on the hike with just the neoprene socks and they were not comfortable with sloshy feet. We had an absolute blast and we highly recommend this hike and the cost of the rental. read more

Highly recommend Zion Guru! They were knowledgeable, took their time to educate and help us find the right trip and equipment for us. We did the half day Canyoneering trip to water canyon. Amazing views, great hike and epic repels. Hector was an awesome guide, fun to be with and great to get to know him and his story. We planned to hike the narrows the next day, rented equipment and all, but unfortunately the park closed the hike due to high water flow... not only were we fully refunded, but they truly were just as disappointed as we were that we missed out on that adventure. That being said... we will be back to continue the adventure! Thank you Zion Zuru and thank you Hector for being one of the highlights on our trip! See you next time! read more

great customer service and providing information about the area! Got our gear quickly and appreciated that it was a full 24 hour rental.

Got lucky w permits for Angel's Landing and knew we would need spikes for our boots. This place popped up for rentals and I'm so happy we came here! All the gentlemen were so so sweet and helpful. Would 100% return for my next trip. read more

We highly recommend Zion Guru. We spend the day in Zion yesterday hiking the Narrows. Brooke was our guide and she was fantastic!!

Rented equipment here for the Narrows hike and it was a great experience. Everyone was helpful despite how busy they were. Wyatt, in the equipment section worked hard to make sure everyone had the proper equipment/sizes they needed and gave people tips about how to put on the neoprene socks and what size walking stick to get, as well as giving an orientation to the Narrows hike from time to time. Returning the equipment was a breeze as well. I went in early May and thought the basic equipment package (shoes/socks/walking stick) was fine for going up to Floating Rock but if you do want to go to Big Springs there are some deeper spots so you may want the bib/pant package. read more

Great service! Everyone was so friendly and professional. The e-bikes were so much fun. Wonderful way to see the park!

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience on a cayoneering tour with Harold Ward and Zion Guru. The advance communication was prompt and thorough. The safety routines for Zion Guru tours are top notch. The trip down Huntress Canyon was perfect for our ability - and absolutely beautiful. Most importantly, Harold was an amazing guide. He explained every rappelling step clearly, followed the same safety routine every time, and shared lots of useful facts and tidbits - in an unassuming manner that was wonderfully different from the know-it-all mindset of other companies' guides that we've worked with in the past. read more

If you're thinking to yourself, "I can hike the narrows in my chacos no problem!" Go ahead and stop at Zion Guru. The water shoes and socks were an absolute lifesaver and at a tremendous value. When you're waist deep in water the last thing you want to be thinking is how slippery a rock is, if you're stepping in the right place, or if you'll be stable without a stick. I'm INCREDIBLY GLAD we went with Zion Guru. Not only did I get my gear, but they gave me solid advice on the trail and where to turn around. Quick service, amazing value, would 10/10 recommend to all visiting. read more

Our party of 12 used Zion Guru to rent gear for our hike of the Narrows in Zion National Park. We had 11 adults and 1 child. We all rented the "footwear package" (neoprene socks, river shoes, and walking poles), as it was in early September so we did not need pants, suits, etc. We did not pick-up our gear the day before or reserve in advance - we picked up on our way to our hike, and there were no issues with that. While some of the socks/shoes were a little damp, none were too wet. The staff was incredibly helpful and gave us an overview of our hike and some tips - they were wonderful! Some people in our party hiked longer than others, and the staff was accommodating that we dropped our gear off at different times. We definitely recommend Zion Guru - this was a very smooth process! (Please note, if you are planning on hiking the Narrows and do not have your own specialized gear, we DEFINITELY recommend renting gear. We saw plenty of people on our hike without special shoes/socks or poles that were really struggling.) read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We chose to rent poles to explore the narrows and trails . Best decision ever!

Super helpful and gave great information. I was thinking of hiking the Narrows and wanted to see if I would get the gear the night before. She was able to show me the gears and talk about the water flow and level and what to expect. There was a chance that the Narrows was going to close the next day and was super informative. read more

We went canyoneering with Audrey on a totally clear December day. The parking lot where we began to walk up to where we would start rappelling down through the slot canyons was empty. So far, so great. None of us had ever rappelled before so Audrey was perfect for us. patient, super knowledgeable, full of information about the area, and wonderfully clear in her instructions about how to put on the gear and slowly back over the edge of a cliff, going against instinct but in control and safe because she had the other end of the rope. It was a high point of our trip to the Southeast. I would absolutely recommend it. read more

Two stars because we had to wait 3 hours in line just to pick up and fit our gear!! So plan accordingly y'all. Gear they gave us was wet but let it dry over night, we got the overalls that go over the feet. Kept me dry the entire hike. I hiked 7 miles in it, no issues. Good thing was I could layer down and was comfortable. I'd probably rent from them again... but hope not to wait in a 3 hour line. read more

Zion Guru is amazing! We spent a few days in and around Zion at the end of April. We spent a day outdoor climbing with Rob, our guide from Zion Guru. We had a blast!!! Rob was fun, laid back but focused, extremely knowledgeable, made us feel very comfortable and confident, and took us on multiple climbs of varied level of difficulty-- each one fun and beautiful! The next day we rented gear for the Narrows. The gear was excellent quality, great fit, and kept us warm despite hiking through very cold water! The rental process is super easy. I definitely recommend Zion Guru!!! We will be contacting Zion Guru and Rob on our next visit to Zion!!!! read more
