An E-Bike is the best way to navigate the scenic drive and get to the major trailheads. You can use the shuttles, but tickets are limited and hard to get, and you may waste time waiting on the shuttles. The bikes and hiking gear were pricy, but high quality stuff. And you really need river-specific shoes, neoprene socks, and a walking pole. To hike The Narrows without these things is just foolish. And the staff is great. I'll rent here again. read more

I can't recommend Zion Guru and Noah highly enough. What an exhilarating experience from start to finish! Noah was knowledgeable, fun, and patient with our group of three novices (two of whom are also afraid of heights). Noah quickly made us feel safe and confident, teaching us equipment essentials and explaining the safety system of the ropes. Went canyoneering with Pierce from Zion Guru today and had a blast. We rapelled and climbed through slot canyons and stone formations with kids aged 8, 10 and 11 and Pierce was super calm, very safety-conscious, patient and encouraging with them (and the grownups). The trip was the perfect degree of exciting and fun for a bunch of total novices. I was afraid it would be overwhelming for the kids, or dumbed-down for the adults and it was neither. My family and I had an AMAZING time on our Zion Guru tour! We all had little to no experience with canyoneering, but our wonderful guide, Adam, made us all feel comfortable and kept us laughing and having a great time through the entire thing. Zion Guru organized our outing to be close to where we were staying so we didn't have to drive far, and we got to see a beautiful area just outside Zion. We did a little hiking, a little rock climbing, and 5 very different rappels in the half day trip, one of which was down 100 feet and one that was through a slot canyon. Adam also took great photos of us in action that he shared with us at the end of the outing. I highly recommend using Zion Guru and requesting Adam as your guide if you want to do something adventurous, different, and away from the crowds while you are in the Zion area! read more

We rented E- bikes from here to ride through Zion and it was great! When we called them to rent the bikes they had great service and we got the bikes right when we needed them. Our ride was awesome and really beautiful riding throughout the park. If you need space for your hiking sticks or backpack, there is a bucket with a net over it, and a hiking stick holder that you can put your hiking sticks in. They have a great variety of bikes that you can choose from, if you need space for your kids. I recommend this if you're thinking about going on E- bikes through Zion NP. We were in Zion last weekend and enjoyed a great day with the services Zion Guru provided. We started off our day with 1/2 day ebiking and they had everything ready for us to go. It was easy to learn and they were helpful in making sure our bikes were equipped with everything we needed. Super friendly and made the process very easy. It allowed us to get to the trailhead without worrying about parking in the non-shuttle season. In A Nutshell: -Zion Guru provides a private shuttle service into Zion National Park. -For $20 each way ($40 roundtrip) you select your pick up time & drop off time. -If you finish your exploring early or later you can try getting onto other shuttles that arrive before or after your scheduled pick up time. -I highly suggest paying for their private shuttle vs. trying to buy the $1 shuttle that Zion National Park provides b/c it's a pain to try to reserve a spot, also & most importantly is that it's better to pay for the private shuttle especially if you start early (7:00am shuttle), then you'll have less people to deal with. -Trust me, the less people you are on the shuttle with (not only for social distancing, but b/c less people in your photos during your hike...like NO PEOPLE vs. hundreds). -The parking lot is shared w/ the La Quinta hotel, but there was plenty of FREE parking spaces. Overall, if you want a stress-free experience exploring Zion, I suggest paying the $40 round trip private shuttle w/ Zion Guru, you'll be happy you did! read more

If you are camping inside of the park, the option to pick them up the afternoon before you plan to use them is nice so that you don't have to drive out of the park and then wait in line to get back in. I have rented dry bibs from both Zion Guru and Zion Outfitters now. I liked the ones from Zion Guru better, as I felt they kept the water out better. The prices at Zion Guru, Zion Outfitters, and Zion Adventures are all similar, but so far the most reliable product for me has been from Zion Guru (I haven't tried the bibs/shoes from ZA). The rental is kind of expensive, but worth it to experience the narrows in a season when it would otherwise be too cold. read more

Just recently rented gear from here for the narrows hike. What a pleasant and excellent experience! Website is very helpful and has tons of information on it. Easy to rent gear and the prices aren't unreasonable at all. I had some questions and called the phone number provided and it was super easy to get a hold of someone and he was very nice and helpful. When we got there to pick up the gear, the conditions in the narrows had changed such that we didn't need the gear we booked online, so they refunded us the difference and switched us to the next level down. Easy! The guy helping us out with the gear was super helpful and showed the patience of Job in dealing with some pretty inane questions from the people in the store. The store officially closes at 8PM but they continued to help people until 830 without a grumble. The gear worked like a charm and we were bone dry and pretty warm doing the whole narrows hike up to floating rock. Brought the gear back and people were so nice! One random worker in the parking lot just saw us bringing the stuff back and asked us how the hike was and was very welcoming. My husband and I hiked the narrows this week and knew that a dry bib package was needed. He has a size 17 foot, so we knew that would be the challenge. We went to Zion Outfitter and they weren't as helpful. We ended up renting from Zion Guru. The staff were incredibly helpful and their equipment in our opinion was better. The neoprene socks were attached to the dry suit bib, so our feet did not get wet! My husband was able to fit in their size 15 and said that their shoes were more comfortable than the ones from Zion Outfitter. We hiked a total of 7 miles in the narrows and we didn't have any blisters or wet feet. We found out the owner of Zion Guru custom designed the shoes for the narrows. Overall, we were very happy with our experience at Zion Guru. We didn't feel rushed and the staff were amazing. Bonus tip, rent the gloves.
