My wife and I decided to try something new for Chinese new year eve. The restaurant was about 1/3 full, so wasn't busy at all. We ordered pan fried bao, clear beef noodle soup and this beef stirfry as pictured. Overall, it was more Americanized Chinese than authentic. Nothing wrong with that as I actually enjoyed Panda Express, but I had higher expectation given the reviews and price. Pan fried bao, note the lack of meat? Wasn't bad when I added some soy sauce and spice, but the portion of meat was lacking. The beef noodle soup was very bland as in barely any flavor. I realize it's not the dark version soup, but it should still have some flavor. Beef, veggies were fine, but the noodles looks to be egg noodles or almost ramen like. It didn't have any chewiness or bounce, so I'm certain this is not freshly made. Lastly, the combo beef stirfry...I forgot the actual name they called it. Overall, you can see that it's very saucy, and the beef was not very velveted well in that it was chewy. Given it was Chinese New Year's Eve, it was a bit disappointing as I had higher expectation.

We used to go to the prior establishment here which was East Wind. Don't know if there's any connection but it's still a Chinese food place. Inside is nice with options for booths or tables. It's run by folks who do know the Chinese name for the dishes so that's a plus. Our first test is the soup dumplings. These are pretty good. You get six for about $12 which is usually enough for the four of us. The servings here are quite generous so plenty to share. It is a little different in that the regular entrees don't necessarily come with rice, you have to order it on the side for a buck or so. They do have great prices on their lunch menu $9.95 for a good serving portion, egg roll, rice (included on this lunch menu), and a small soup. Red chili oil is pretty good here, don't know if they make it homemade or not. It's available lunch M-F. The duck that I tried was pretty good. A smidge dry for some pieces, but they serve it bones in which can be a little bit of effort to eat with chopsticks....I have also tried on another visit from the Szechuan menu lamb/cumin. I should have known the cumin would dominate the plate and it did so I wouldn't recommend this one, though it had a good flavor. It's just too hot and your mouth can go numb from too much cumin I think...LOL.... We have tried both the orange and sesame chicken and it's very flavorful and good, although a bit on the sugary syrup side...My wife tried the shrimp lo mein one visit and it was pretty good. One of the few dishes where she actually ate the leftovers....and my older daughter tried the shrimp fried rice. Both use the 50-60 count shrimp size but they are plentiful and it seems to work. Certainly stick with the traditional plates here and you will be fine as far as our experience. Definitely order the soup dumplings. Dinner prices rise up to the $15-25 range so I definitely prefer to come here for lunch during the week. But I still feel it's a decent value for dinner prices as well. Service is good, they keep refilling waters and they bring the food out as it's ready which I like. And they are very nice here.

GREAT Sichuan food! Reminded me of my visit to China and the amazing food there! I grabbed the DanDan noodles, fried string beans and cucumber salad! Perfection!

Awesome little spot in flower mound that has great lunch specials and large portions. Hot and fresh and ready for you to feast! Soup, egg roll and a steaming plate of your choice of veggies and a meat. Bliss! Service was sensational! Nice place- spacious and clean. A little sewage odor but maybe that can't be helped. Overall- amazing!

Still come for Lunch and like the 10% off for cash. Take out a dish too. Try some new dish. Lunch specials are great value.

I really love Yummy Sichuan! We have enjoyed carry out from here many times and the dine in experience was so fun. They have several tables for our large group and were very accommodating. The meals are served family-style, which we enjoy. We stuck with some favorites like General Tso's chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. The shrimp were a nice medium size, flavorful bite! Shrimp dumplings were fantastic and the crab Rangoon were the best I have ever had. They were filled to the brim. The soups are always a go-to and it's my favorite hot & sour I have ever had. The carry-out portion is enough for 2 meals. My favorite dish of the evening? The string beans. Wow! There are leftovers in my fridge for lunch today. The only downfall was the fortune from my cookie! Not gonna happen!

Order the spicy wonton. You won't regret it if you like spicy and flavor. Food was great and came out fast during lunch time.

I was feeling lazy and didn't feel like cooking or going to the store. That calls for delivery! Yummy Sichuan didn't disappoint. Good portion of Orange chicken that lasted me 2 meals and loved the flavor of the spicy dumplings (I didn't find them very spicy). My only wish is that you could sub fried rice in place of white. Wasn't an option on UberEats. Price point was also reasonable. Will definitely try again! The dried chili chicken looks intriguing!

Delicious food and amazing prices! I went here and had their roasted duck, spicy tendon and intestines and LOVED it! If you're wanting to try something authentic this is the place to go. I have already gone back multiple times! If you're wanting Panda Express or Chinese Buffet do not go here but if your looking to expand your palate or are a foodie. Give this place a try! Lots of parking and it's easy to find!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! THE OLD MAN AT THE FRONT DESK (OWNER) was DEMANDING a tip out of me. I was going back to Leave a cash tip! Because I don't like leaving it on my card and he got so upset and yelled at me "NO TIP. WHY?" And called me ridiculous! He was very unprofessional! Food was 1/10.

Nothing yummy about it. Food is underwhelming and tasteless all the while being saturated with salt.

The dumplings themselves absolutely lived up to the hype--perfectly delicate with a flavorful broth inside. We also ordered the dim sum combination, additional dim sum, and lo mein, and everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The variety in the dim sum was impressive, and the lo mein had a great texture and seasoning that tied the meal together nicely. You can tell there's real skill in the kitchen when it comes to the food. My only complaint was noticing the staff making the fresh dumplings eating personal food while working. It took away a bit from the overall experience and professionalism you'd expect, especially in an open kitchen setting. That said, the food quality is definitely worth it, and I'd still recommend stopping by if you're craving authentic soup dumplings in the area. Solid 4 stars!

We went here for lunch after spending July 4th at the Gaylord Texan Resort. The reviews were good,…read morethe restaurant is close to the resort, and we were in the mood for Chinese. The restaurant itself is attractive both inside and outside. Upon entering we were quite hopeful that the food would match the decor. I started with egg drop soup and it was good but not as flavorful as others I have had. That would become a theme for our meal. The kid had steamed juicy dumplings and liked them, but she said that they were not as good as dumplings at Jeng Chi in Richardson. I tried a couple and agreed that they are not as good. They were fine, just not as good as others. The wife had beef noodle soup with broccoli and on the positive side the beef (brisket) was incredibly tender. However, the noodles were way over cooked and the broth lacked something. It did not have a deep, developed flavor. I had garlic chicken and on the positive side, the chicken was tender and the many types of veggies were cooked well. However, the dish was bland. It really had very little flavor, and I said to the wife that if I did not know it was garlic chicken, I would never have guessed. It was just bland. The service was friendly but our server disappeared for long periods of tine. The dumplings and soups came out fast, but my dish took forever. I actually thought that our server went on break or went home for the day. it was a really long wait. We probably would not return to this restaurant again.
