It was my first time eating at the restaurant, food was overall good! My favorite is the spicy pork feet, must try!! The service was alright, it wasn't that busy but our server lady never came to check up on us for water... Also we weren't done eating but she came up with the check, seems like she was rushing us to leave lol.

We ordered Ttagui Haejang kuk , it is beef neck bone with bean sprouts. It was very good. Beef was tender and the broth was flavorful. Also ordered Gamja Tang , spicy pork bone soup. This was very good too. Portions were for individual serving. Service was attentive.

We ordered takeout so I can't comment on the ambience or in-person service. But what we got was so good. I ordered the spicy beef soup and it was delicious. We also ordered some beef ribs that were tender and flavorful. I will definitely try this place again. We ordered the M3, M5, and M9.

Meat is nice flavorful and tender 3 very sad side dishes are all sour pickled, not appetizing at all. Soup was also mediocre Would only come again for the meats. Service and time to receive food took very long.

Glad to try another great Korean spot in Carrollton. We ordered the Ttagui Haejang Kuk, beef neck bone soup & Bosam Jungsik. The soup was hot and delicious. The beef fell off the soup easily and was super tender. The bosam is their signature, super delicious. By dipping in the sauce and wrapping in lettuce, it makes the perfect bite. We absolutely loved this place!

The food here is delicious!! From the main dish to the sides, the flavors and quality are excellent. The only downside and reason I am not giving 5 stars is almost a suffering from success story. They are so busy during peak times that service can be a little slow. Seating is a bit limited cause it is a on the smaller side.

I loveeeee the soondae here. The place itself is really small but the service and food were really good. Highly recommend and will absolutely come back.

This place is a Hidden Gem. Its small & unique. Food is so delicious. I always order their Wang Jokbal. It taste exactly like what I used to eat in Seoul. All the soup dishes is very good too. The place is clean and quite. Server is friendly and helpful. If you look for something simple and authentic, this is definitely the place

I'm not sure how I haven't written a review for this place yet! Love their bossam and is probably the only place in DFW I go to for Bossam. Their sides are fresh and crunchy and tasty the way I like them! Prompt, courteous, friendly service. I normally order Bossam, but I've tried other items as well and haven't been disappointed. If you've never had Bossam, I highly recommend it and definitely wrap it with the cabbage leaves, some kimchi, and the garlic/jalapeño combo (the garlic weirdly make the jalapeño less spicy!). The restroom does smell like cleaning products though but I'm not sure that's a bad thing? I'm glad they're keeping it clean!

I haven't been to a good jokbal place since I was in Seoul, but this is a close one! The inside reminds me of eating street food, which makes it a very relaxing environment. We got the galbi and the jokbal and it comes with soup! I love eating it with the lettuce wraps and kimchi, and it's so tasty. The service was great! I can't wait to come back

We had a lovely experience here last night! This establishment specializes in pork trotters but we both were in the mood for soup. My friend ordered the 나 귀 해장국 (beef soup) and I had the 순대국 (boiled Korean sausage soup) and they were both delicious. Both came with different dipping sauces, which all added great flavor, even though the broth was already so rich on its own. We enjoyed everything along with the side dishes. They also offered hot tea (I think it was rice tea) which was great for the colder weather. The servers and owners were kind and patient as we had a late dinner and were the last ones in the restaurant. Looking forward to coming again!

Such a nice and warm restaurant!! First time went this place for dinner today. We (2 people) ordered M6-Jokbal Jungsik & M9 Galbi Jungsik !! They are so good!!!! I love Jokbal Jungsik so much! The steamed slide high feet pig with rice and soup, and it tastes so good! The favor is absolutely nice. The galbi is also super yummy!!! I love this place that everything is not too savory or salty; all the dish tastes just right and perfectly! The service is really sweet and friendly! She introduced our some dishes and told us the difference. Super friendly. The ambiance is nice as well. It might be will get crowded during night and weekend tho. They also have online order which is nice. Highly recommended!!!

1 Bossam medium was perfect portion for 2 people. I was craving Bossam and when my boyfriend said there is Jang Choong Dong in Dallas, I was excited to try out. Braised pork was so soft it melted in my mouth with ssam! All the other banchan complemented the main course very well. One thing I was disappointed was the Gamjatang. Soup tasted a little watered down but the meat in the soup was a little fry and tough. If this is your first time having bossam, get your breath smelling like garlic for a good while!

Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!
