They accommodated us with a world class shower amenities which was great! We were also able to use the patio area as well. They also had a garden and chicken coup. Very clean, very organized. They provided us with information of local restaurants and bistros. We will be back to Utah and stay at the Zion Cliff Lodge because we didn't see nearly enough of beautiful Utah.

We bring friends and family here every chance we get. They are still making changes to improve the wheelchair accommodations but they are so open to our needs and always strive to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They have breakfast every morning with full hot breakfast when they are near capacity (which has been more often than not lately).

Interested people might wish to read a 2014 article on the hotel in the St. George News titled "Hotel debuts in FLDS prophet's former mansion." For travelers between Zion/St. George and the Grand Canyon North Rim, this place provides a quieter alternative to motels in Kanab.

Oh and the smores kit was such a nice touch as well as the welcome basket. We travel a lot and this place has it dialed in. Truly. Cold waters in the fridge upon arrival - ahhhh. So what would I add - a wellness spa for massages, on site morning yoga, sound bathing, etc.... I might add a very modern pool or one that incorporates nature. There were two bowls waiting near the front door, and two adorable sleeping areas - one in a cut-out in the wall, and another a pull-out trundle-style bed. The mercantile/ store was stocked with cute apparel for pet-lovers as well as items for pets. All done with contemporary Scandinavian furniture which minimizes clutter and convenient controls for lighting, ventilation and automatic shades. - Employees: Helpful. People at the reception desk and in the breakfast area/"Mercantile Shop" were all very friendly. - Breakfast: Vegan and very good. Included with the room. While it wasn't a buffet, you could order as much as you'd like. Much of it was homemade and I especially liked the "Overnight Oats". The wagon is exceptionally well thought out and equipped with a queen-size bed and a bunk bed, easily fitting a family of four. It also featured plenty of lights, outlets, a handy towel basket, and excellent AC/heating. The only downside of such a cold night was having to make the walk down the hill to the private bathrooms. However, the silver lining was getting to look up at an absolutely amazing night sky filled with millions of stars! For added convenience, there is an on-site coffee shop that sells breakfast items and sandwiches. In the evenings, they light up cozy campfires, and if you happen to visit on a warmer day, you can enjoy the beautiful pool and jacuzzi.
