I brought my car here once before and they fixed the problem. I paid cash since they add surcharges for credit and debit card use. I brought my car in a few days ago for brakes. They replaced the drum and brake shoes. The car ride home was great so I believe they solved it. I did not know that it is illegal in the United States to surcharge a debit card but found out in time for me to inform Network Automotive. They said they would charge my debit card the 2% fee. Out of caution, I used my credit card and took the hit because my card will back up any problems should they arise related to the work. I am in touch with Attorney General Kris Mayes office to investigate this. Per the Federal Law, they can add surcharge to credit, but not debit cards. Stay tuned because if I see surcharges on debit cards with any other merchant, I will turn them in. read more

I took my 4Runner here for an alignment. I had been to this shop once before for an alignment and Neal the technician did a fantastic job aligning the vehicle. The receptionist was kind and took my vehicle in and noted all my concern. After a few hours they called me to tell me that the aftermarket camber/caster kit I have installed on my 4Runner was installed incorrectly and needs to be fixed before they can do the alignment. While it was frustrating I totally understood the problem, and drove back to pick up my vehicle and have the issue fixed before bringing it back for an alignment. The receptionist was nice and handed me my keys and explained the situation to me very well. He mentioned that after I have fixed the issue, they can look at it again and perform the alignment. As I was leaving the parking lot, the General Manager pulls up in a truck and proceeds to demand me to come over and says "Need to talk about your truck". At this point he is extremely condescending and rude, and says "We are no longer going to work on your car, we do not want to deal with your Mickey Mouse of a truck". His tone and attitude was completely uncalled for and I was honestly shocked that anyone would talk to a customer in such a manner, it was the single most unprofessional interaction I have had with anyone in the auto repair industry. I was in a hurry and did not want to engage him but I did call them to let them know that I did not appreciate his behavior. I do not think the technicians here are bad, in fact they are competent and hardworking people but I'm not sure if I can say the same about the manager. I wish he had just told me in a nicer way that they cannot work on me vehicle. All in all, you might have the completely opposite experience but a business that does not value a customer when things do not go their way is not a business I would want to associate with. read more

I thought I found an honest place to take my vehicles to after my first experience. After three other experiences I had where I actually caught them lying to me about doing work I payed for but they did not do, I can not give zero stars because I would!! Chris and Shawn have lied to my face about work that was clearly not done! Very dishonest and lazy shop!!! Pictured is what I found after I was told they changed my oil! Today I was told my tire pressure monitoring system was bad and they filled my tires to recommend pressure, but the tire shop down the road told me my sensors are all good but all four tires have low air. I took my 2014 Jetta TDI in for an oil change, and because the oil filter is not one that most shops would have in inventory I bought one and left it on the passenger seat so I wouldn't have to wait for an oil filter to be ordered. I later discovered that that the oil filter was still in the passenger seat, I took it back and he had "forgot" to replace it!!!! Today I find out that the under pan of the engine compartment was torn lose instead of removing the screws. It appears that this shop and their mechanics can NOT be trusted to do the most basic mechanical tasks!!!!! read more

As for your reply Scott, The labor rate that I was charged was for a short block engine replacement. All other shops I went to and looked at the labor rate myself and looked up on pro demand listed complete engine replacement as 13.6 hours. If you look at your labor rate it also says for complete engine R and R 13.6. I was charged for a short block replacement which includes replacing components as exhaust, intake and cylinder heads . As for the added $1100 charge for the engine regarding warranty if you look at my bill Richard specifically noted coverage was denied and I have to pay labor cost . As for the 02 sensor issue it was damaged during the repair. It was not incorrectly installed there you're only 2 positions upstream and downstream they are both different plugs you are unable to put them in the incorrect position. I have owned the vehicle for 8 years and have never had a check engine light. And they did not offer to replace it . They removed it from the right bank and put it on the left bank and cleared the code. When they plugged in the scanner to read the data you can clearly see the 02 sensor was not operating even after changing sides. They should have replaced it but they did not. Your technician just cleared the code and said it was taken care of. read more

We just had to buy 4 new tires for our Tundra due to uneven wear since we had been driving with them in need of an alignment. Not wanting to make that same mistake (truck tires are expensive!) we brought our 2007 Toyota Tundra to Network Automotive in Apache Junction for a front end alignment. Everyone here is very friendly and professional and took the time to explain the process and so forth. Our truck drives great now. I appreciate the before and after alignment stats computer printout provided as well. Great service. Oh yah, they're running a front alignment special now too. Wintering in Arizona and needing some much needed maintenance on my Ford F350 found Network Automotive Service (Apache Junction location). I am very particular about who I let work on my truck, so I did my research on local shops and these guys were by far the best qualified. Talked with Phil on the phone for an appointment on needed maintenance. Once there he quoted out work which was reasonable for what was needed (tract bar/bushings/differential fluids/shocks/4 wheel alignment). Talked with mechanic who gave my truck a good looking over and commented that it looks like I keep up on the maintenance. Upon completion of the work the hard part comes, paying the bill!! Phil informed me price was lower than quoted and gave me a military discount as well. Have had the truck back for a week now an we feel like we are in a new truck again!! I was trying to find a small business, local & opted to give them a call because of prior great reviews. However, was not very pleased with the customer service over the phone, and probably will never attempt to give this place a try after a simple inquiry left me feeling like they don't care whatsoever. I just needed a basic oil change. I called to inquire Saturday morning, and was almost promptly told "no". Except, it was less than polite. "We don't have time for you today" was the literal verbiage on the other end of the line. He suggested I come in on Monday. Which doesn't work for me when I have to be at work across town. I didn't figure a 30 minute basic oil change would be THAT difficult to take care of on a Saturday (calling first thing in the morning when they close at 5pm). But, apparently they don't have time & really aren't very helpful or eager for the business because I ultimately hung up feeling like I was a bother. My husband took his vehicle in for a heater core replacement. They changed the thermostat, put coolant in. No heater core wa replaced. $700. They forgot to put the shroud on. He took it back to get the shroud put on. They said there was oil in the coolant. They replaced the English gasket. Still no shroud was on the vehicle. They charged $2000. No oil could be measured on the dipstick. Someone wasb driving the vehicle when he went there this AM. They texted him yesterday and said the vehicle was finished. They said that he was doing a "test drive", after they said it was done. There is no measurable oil on the dipstick. He has to drive it back with no oil measuring on the dipstick! read more

Took my 4runner for an alignment! Neal was professional and was able to dial in the alignment to spec.

Thought I found a place to trust. They was more interested in proving the customer wrong then anything. Yes the tire psi in the door says 85psi. So they take the time to check the door tag but can't check the tires as there filling them. The tire psi cold says 65psi. My alignment bolts on my lower control arms was not tight and almost caused me to crash. Was going to give them another chance but I'm not wanting to go check there work. My alignment is still not correct and I will take my business elsewhere. P.S. You should focus on your attitude. Get ride of the I am the high and mighty attitude. The simple sorry let's see what we can do would have been the way to go and kept me coming back. read more

Great service at Network Automotive Apache Junction location. Had an alignment done...manager Robert was great.

I had upper and lower ball joints pressed in on a Mercury Grand Marquis. Discovered one leaking after 5 weeks/600 miles; I just happened to look under the car to retrieve a bottle cap I dropped and saw the green grease on the lower control arm. They said it was not damaged during install and that it was a part defect. I showed these pictures to a few other mechanics without telling them the story; each one without hesitation said it was pinched during install and that's why the boot is ripped like it is. Because I supplied the part, I had to pay the cost for replacement. Here are the pictures; decide for yourself. https://imgur.com/gallery/Hr9yPTN Two days later after having that ball joint replaced, I started hearing clunking from the front end. Took it to another shop. Turns out, Network Automotive did not properly torque down the sway bar end links on brand new Motorcraft end links which they had to remove in order to remove the lower control arms to do the lower ball joints. The lower end link nuts on both sides of the car had backed away multiple turns. It's likely the mechanic forgot to torque them down. I had them torqued properly and after a couple of weeks driving, they are still on tight. I also paid for a wheel alignment when doing the ball joints. The car went in driving nice and straight. But I got it back with a noticeable pull to the right. I usually always use Salem Boys Auto in Tempe or the Ford dealer, but decided to try this shop as they once did a good job on the front end of my 1966 Lincoln back around 2005. I guess their quality of work degraded in the last 15 years. I won't be going back there. read more

Be careful when dealing with this group. They will nickel and dime you to death. Get all costs up front before starting work. Ask a lot of questions on ALL miscellaneous costs. Don't pay with a credit card because they will charge you a $9 fee and they will not warn you in advance! If you want an diagnostic (idiot light test) they want $99. This is a real rip off because AutoZone and some other places will do it free. They are a little over priced but seem to get the job done right. read more

I would give zero stars if i could. They TOTALLY tried to rip me off. I brought my truck in for shuddering brakes and AC that wasn't working. They quoted me $4000 for a whole new AC, ball joints, new front and rear brakes and new rotors. I could not believe this. I usually go to East Mesa Auto Repair but they were booked out one week (there is a reason for this) and Network could see me the same day. I decided to wait and take it to East Mesa Auto because I thought this price was insane. East Mesa Auto quoted me $560 for new FRONT brakes only, bleeding my brakes, new rotors and simply recharging my AC. I cannot believe a mechanic would be so dishonest. There is a reason East Mesa Auto is so busy and Network Auto is not. Do not go here. I will always take my truck to East Mesa Auto Repair. read more
